Hyatt House Salt Lake City/Downtown

We just stayed at the Hyatt for a volleyball tournament, typically I dread these tournament hotels but was pleasantly surprised when we checked in early last Friday and the lady at the desk was extremely pleasant and helpful. The rooms are a bit dated but we had a full kitchen and spacious living/bedroom area. Everywhere was clean and any requests for towels, pillows etc were taken care of ASAP. Breakfast was great, we were so happy to be able to fuel up early in the morning. Location was central to the convention center and to restaurants and shops. All of the staff were friendly, cheerful and went out of their way to help. I will
definitely be requesting this hyatt for our tournament next year!

Absolutely wonderful. This is my favorite place to stay when I pass through salt lake. The Hyatt standard surpasses everyone. In my personal experience the employees are always helpful and polished, the rooms are clean and beds are consistently comfortable. Reasonably priced rooms and complimentary breakfast is always delicious and fresh. I want to recognize Ms. Beverley Gale. My check in process with Beverlee was so seamless and welcoming. She went above and beyond to make me comfortable as a Hyatt guest. I am a solo, female traveler, and I take safety very seriously. Thank you so much for the wonderful, comfortable and safe stay. I look forward to coming back to Salt Lake and staying again.

Clean, huge rooms, great service and location! This is my go-to hotel in downtown SLC. The staff, facilities, and rooms are consistently good.

Loved this hotel. Stayed here when my flight was delayed and I missed my connection. They were super pleasant to work with, everything was clean and comfortable. Would stay here again!

Had the BEST experience thanks to the wonderful front desk attendant Nyesha. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and make sure our stay was very pleasant. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Located near lots of sights to see and good food options. A wonderful hotel all around!

From checking in to check out our stay was veery nice. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Loved the stay we had. It was just a 5 min walk away from the Vivint Arena. Then, the next morning, there were so many free breakfast options. Also, the people there were all super friendly. Very clean room. Was sad I forgot my swimsuit for the heated pool outside. Walked past it at night, and it looked very inviting. Check out time was 12, which was amazing too.

Went to a concert at the Delta center and stayed here overnight. The rooms are really nice, it's very clean and comfortable.

Great customer service! We arrived to our hotel late in the evening. The front desk was incredibly courteous and suggested a great bar to get food. The hotel rooms were very clean and quiet.

It was nice and has a great location. If I could review the other customers I would not give a great review because the lobby smelled like pot when we arrived and they had cases of beer out making it feel like they were going to be there a while and we were invading their private party. We loved our room and customer service was awesome but we didn't get good sleep with so many guests making noise all night through the seemingly thin walls. This would probably be a great place if you are a night owl, I really needed my sleep for travel and liked the convenience of this location being downtown.

Stayed here while attending a conference at the Salt Palace Convention Center. It was conveniently located, <10 minute walk to the convention center and many restaurants and ~10 minute drive to the airport. The staff were friendly and accommodating, everything was clean and in good shape, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious.

Room was nice. Breakfast was good. Location was awesome.

Perfect location for going to jazz games, and doing anything downtown. Staff are really exceptionally warm and friendly. The rooms and the hotel were very clean and it was very comfortable. Loved their breakfast area great for mingling and or being alone.

Very nice hotel. The rooms are modern, clean, and have wonderful showers. The Google map location is off however and our Lyft driver dropped us off in the wrong place so we had to walk around the block. Please set the location of the building to the front door.

We had a great night here before our flight out of SLC. The room was the perfect setup and is really conducive for longer stays. There was a kitchenette, a living area, the bedroom, and nice bathroom.

Very quiet and adequate breakfast in the morning. We've had great experiences with the Hyatt brand and would definitely stay at a Hyatt House again!

Great hotel! Kind staff, good rooms, good breakfast that changes their menu daily, and good location. They upgraded us to a suite for free. We had a great stay!

The hotel facility was clean and lovely and the staff was beyond friendly and helpful. We sat in the spacious outdoor hot tub each night which was perfect for a cold winter night and we noticed even the pool was heated. They had a healthy breakfast each morning and the staff kept everything clean and tidy. As we were there during covid, I was impressed with the procedures of cleanliness to make us feel safe. I would definitely come back here and/or recommend this hotel.

Location is everything here, we were going to a jazz game and were able to just walk there. I even had to walk back because you couldn't take bags into the game, and it only took about 5 minutes walking.
The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was good. This was our second time staying here and will most likely will be back in the future.

Stayed here 3 nights. The room was very clean (for those of you concerned with the Corona details). They no longer offer daily housekeeping service, but are accommodating for other things you need. Nice staff!

Really enjoyed the room with the full kitchen. You've got everything you need to live here for awhile. Truthfully it's as nice as many apartments. Only part I didn't like is that the TVs always start on CNN when you turn them on.

I do wish their little "market" had beer, but I understand it's Utah and there are odd laws. With the restaurant closed due to everyone living in fear, that part is what it is. Luckily booze is a scooter ride away (usually Spin and Bird scooters outside.)

Parking is $14/day in the adjacent garage which is fair for a big city. You're a block away from the Jazz's arena should people ever be able to attend a sporting event or concert again.

One of the best run Hyatt House locations in all the the USA 🇺🇸!

The staff was truly incredible. I interacted with them prior to my arrival and during.

Staff was remarkable, was able to accommodate requests, friendly, and professional.

They truly provided world class five star ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐ service.

The property itself boasts, great location, plenty of common area seating/space indoor and outdoor.

One area lacking is still the breakfast due to the pandemic restrictions.

The suites are well appointed with plenty of space. In New York City they would be considered luxury one bedroom apartments.

Overall, highly recommend!
