Maui Physical Therapy

MPT staff and Eric Rohozinski are top notch. Over the course of approximately 10 years Eric has treated myself, my husband and my daughter. I had a knee replacement that had a very difficult recovery. My doctors were unable to offer much explanation why my recovery was hindered. But Eric's knowledge and patience was extraordinary and with his various treatments and exercise, he lead me to complete recovery.
My daughter has played soccer since she was 5yo and has suffered from various soccer injury's. His treatment always offered relief and healing to her injury's. My husband suffers in both his shoulder's and has a degenerative condition from 50 years of surfing, although his condition is irreversible Eric offered relief from constant pain. We have moved from Hawaii and miss having him in our corner to treat us and have not found anyone to replace him where we live now. Eric and his staff are absolutely the best.

In 2008, an injury at work left me having to have a fusion surgery done on the neck bone and cervical disc material etc.
It was unsuccessful in giving me much pain relief, but I was alive; I was just grateful for that.

So I lived at a 7 on the pain scale, and I accepted that, without taking any meds.
I knew eventually, I would have to start talking them-
Humans and pain don’t age like wine, right? LOL

Eric is the ONLY person who has been able to give me any real relief since 2008

Having said that, now, 10 years later, I am having horrible complications from that surgery; flattening of my spinal cord by a bone spur/disc complex while another section of cord is being compressed on by the bulge in the disc nearest it. Ossification of the ligaments throughout the entire cervical column etc. etc.

Eric has been a tremendous help to me,
even with so, so much going wrong...
While waiting for the workman’s comp and the neurosurgeon to work on me,
Eric STILL is the only person to be able to make it feel better than just the medicine can.
He was able to make blood/spinal fluid flow where it had become stagnant and I could actually feel the movement/ it “come back to life”, so to speak.

Maui is very fortunate to have such a person as this, so attuned to the human body and also knowledgeable enough to know what to do about what he is feeling.

Eric works wonders with healing and resolving pain. He looks deeper into the issue and spends time with his patients. Highly recommend him.

Eric is a Great physical therapist, very knowledgeable and uses multidimensional approach to fix pain. I’m coming to him for rehab after total hip replacement to get my new hip into 100% function.
