I recently saw her for a longstanding issue of Migraine HA and had a great experience. She listened to my history, made suggestions and I left with a plan for the future. Her exam was very thorough. I had no problems with her front desk, insurance or office. Highly recommend.

Best doctor experience ever (saying a lot coming from me). She really took the time to listen, very patient and will actually talk with you. She sees your exams/symptoms/history but she also sees YOU. Incredible bedside manor, and she makes sure you leave fully understanding your diagnosis, and what all the next steps are to live the healthiest and fullest life! Highly recommend if you need a neurologist on the islands!!!

Like another reviewer, I had the best doctor visit on Maui. She really listens and is an expert on neurology. Solved my headache and sleep problems.

my husband saw dr tasaki 3 times for a neck/ arm problem. she is pleasant and seems competent, fairly good at communication in person. there is no way to get an urgent appointment, no way to speak to her on the phone, leave her a message or send an email to get a response. he had a reaction or response to a medication and had to go to a physical appointment to talk to her! got a referral for an additional test and was unable to make an appointment as staff often does not answer phone during office hours and cannot leave a message. they are supposed to call you to schedule but they never did. she is obviously very busy but it makes the whole experience unsatisfactory and if you are not "pushy" enough to continue asking you not going to get help.

I attended an appointment today with a client and found that the previous reviews were accurate. She is rude, dismissive and impatient. The client expressed concerns that she felt were not her job to talk about. While this may be true the message can be softened and not so harsh.
I was horrified that this is what Maui residents have to deal with this when they see her. She is knowledgeable in her area of expertise but needs some education on how to talk to her patients.

Horrible experience. My poor wife has a difficult time putting things into words smoothly due to brain fog as a result of long covid. Not only did this doctor display her impatience, but the belittling she did to my wife was so sad. This doctor is abrupt and I don't think I've ever experienced a doctor with a worse bed side manner. I appreciate her knowledge and she did display some concern for my wife's terrible condition, but we left feeling very discouraged, frustrated and hopeless.

Receptionist in phone just wanted to argue about my insurance. ( i have personal health care insurance& a letter of guarantee from a car accident insurance company, and a laywer handling all medical payment dispursements) even with a referral from 2 specialists.... this office will not see you if the injury is from a car accident. Since when is it ethical or moral to deny medical help over insurance money???? Isn't that against the medical doctor oath???? I believe that withholding necessary medical treatment is causing more harm......
