Sloppy Joe's Saloon & Spoon

Been a few years since we had been here, only because it's not super close. However, we had a wonderful meal, and I think this was one of the better places I have been in a while! The food really exceeded my expectations! The smoked meat was perfect, and the choices on the menu really showed off some creative mindsets in the kitchen. We will be back, and it will not be a long time until our next visit. In fact, I am already considering it for next weekend as I want to try some of the other dishes. Looking forward to playing some Hammerschlagen soon as well!

Stopped here for lunch yesterday. We were able to eat outside since the weather was nice. Our waiter was excellent, our food was delicious, and we will definitely be back!

Great place! Food was delicious. Ribs were fall of the bone tender, plentiful sweet potato fries, and the beans were all wonderful. Our beans were served warm, our waiter took them back and brought us hot ones, good job. They also have a really good tap beer selection. Will be back soon!

Stopped in on Thursday nite for a bite to eat with some friends. The place was inviting when we walked in and felt very welcomed. Our server was Ryley, he was excellent. He suggested the ribs, Thursday nite special that included two sides. Lots of choices for the sides. Four of the six of us ordered the ribs. All agreed these were the best ribs we have ever had. Perfectly seasoned bbq sauce, fall off the bone tender. The other two ordered the pulled pork wrap. Excellent tasting! Hubertus's best kept secret. Will be back again soon.

Quaint little rural village setting; charming atmosphere with rustic wooden tables and stone walls. The menu includes salads, gourmet mac and cheese, brisket platters, salmon, and more! Everything we had was delicious - no complaints or suggestions.

We order take out from Sloppy's at least every other week. The smoked chicken wings are THE BEST. The fish fry is also delicious. Oh and the mozzarella sticks are amazing! Get it all! Staff is friendly on the phone and at pick up. Highly recommend this establishment.

This was our first time and definitely not our last. We had our 7 year old with us and the bartender was so sweet to her. Our fried mushrooms were huge and amazing I wish I took pictures. Whenever someone's food came out we watched because everything coming out was amazing. What a great place. And can I just say our waiter was the sweetest most helpful and so on top of everything waiter I've had. He was such a genuine nice person, and made the experience even that much better. Thanks for a wonderful night out you guys, you sure know what you are doing.

I have always liked this place. Whatever you get… get it with Sweet Tia Chili sauce. Our server Kris was awesome. Fun, good food, nice people.

Food is always good, service is always great. We have been here three times in the last three years. Our server has been Robert every time and he's the best! He's so friendly and kind, fast and efficient. I have put Sloppy Joe's on my list of restaurants to frequent regularly, and I would like to suggest that you put them on your list also!

Went to Sloppy Joes after spending the day at The Holy Hill Art Farm. Looked for somewhere near to sit and relax. Absolutely loved it! The waitress and bartender were awesome! They made us feel like “regulars”. The food was as outstanding and the old fashioned was the best I’ve ever had!!! Everyone should visit Sloppy Joes!

Bar/ restaurant with rustic atmosphere. Very friendly people. We just found out that they have 1/2 price wings on Mondays. They were excellent also!

Best beef brisket I have had in a very long time. So tender it would fall apart trying to dip it. It was so flavourful it needed ZERO sauce! And now do not even get me started on the sides, they 2 are out of this world. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT pass up this slightly hidden gem in our special area!!!!

Great food. Smoked all day in the lot. Great ribs and draft beer 🍺 Friendly service.

Our friends invited us to meet them here for brisket. It was really good, personally recommend the horseradish cream sauce. The spicy coleslaw was also quite yummy!

Robert is an amazing bartender, who genuinely has a passion for customer service! To the owner- you are lucky to have him! We’ll be back & will try the food at our next visit. The food smelled amazing, though we were there just for a few drinks. We will be back, much because Robert’s display of amazing customer service!

Consistently one of the best restaurants in the area, rarely have I had an meal that wasn’t just as good as it was the first time, been going here for 10+ years and I don’t see that changing. Robert is a rockstar, always going the extra mile to make sure my carry out orders are exactly what I ordered and making me feel like family when I come in. Not only the food but they’re drinks are always spot on too with a great selection of liquor and beer to choose from.

What an awesome place! We celebrated my Mom's birthday there tonight and from the minute we walked in the door we were made to feel like we were "regulars". I'm not exaggerating when I say that everyone and I mean everyone was friendly! Our server, Morgan, was the best(please tell her to have a magical🏰vacation!)and the guy behind the bar(thanks for the phone call!)and the woman that took our picture were awesome too. The food was yummy too! We'll be back!
