Lake Wissota Lodge and Event Center

It was our first time at the Wissota Lodge for dinner tonight, and we will definitely be back. We had amazing service from beginning to end. We had jalapeño poppers for an appetizer that had some kick to them but were the best I've had around this area. I went with the Chicken breast with a creamy gouda sauce, garlic mashed, and asparagus. It was an excellent choice, very flavorful, and light. We are looking forward to our next time at the lodge! Thank you for the excellent service!

Neil started our evening with excellent drinks and a friendly welcome. We got to experience an excellent sunset from the perfect spot at the Lodge. Then the food... excellent, bellisimo, superior. The only thing I would request is that the service be quicker and the server more attentive. I highly recommend LAKE WISSOTA LODGE!

I had the fillet steak with lobster bisque. Everything was delicious!
This was the best steak I have ever had in my life. Cooked to perfection the sauce was perfect. Wow I will be back here for sure. It was a long wait for food but well worth it.

We hired Wissota lodge catering for our wedding on 8/5/2023. I can’t enough how amazing Dave and Jack were. They went above and beyond to make sure our day went smoothly! From the service the banquet servers provided to the food, everything was amazing. They provide reasonable pricing with 5 star service. If you are looking for catering for a large or small banquet I highly recommend reaching out to Wissota Lodge, you won’t regret it!

We had our Christmas party last night at the Wissota Lodge. There were 23 of us and every one there did an excellent job! All of the food came out timely, considering there was such a large crew, that is awesome. The appetizers, steaks, shrimp, walleye, smothered chicken, mushrooms, onions, potatoes (baby reds, french fries, & garlic mashed), and hot vegetable (fresh green beans and carrots) were absolutely succulent! The margaritas were wonderful too! We can't say thanks enough to the entire crew at Wissota Lodge for making our party fabulous!

We went for the special of the day and they were out of it. We stayed for some drinks and ran into some friends and had a good time. We will try the special next time.

Originally from Chippewa, I now live in Kansas City Missouri. When I come home to visit, this is my new go to for Friday night fish. The best walleye in Chippewa and the view of the lake is awesome. Although Fridays are extremely busy, I think the staff handles it very well and they’re very friendly. I will keep coming back whenever I come home.

The best fish fry you'll ever have! The walleye is huge and amazingly delicious. Drinks are great, the view is breathtaking, and the service is always superb. Thank you!

It's been a while since we've dined at Wissota Lodge, so Friday we went for their fish fry. AMAZING! Servings were big! Taste, texture & presentation were all EXCELLENT! Highly recommend you try them for food! Chef is OUTSTANDING!

Just finished dining lakeside. I had the surf and turf and husband had the porterhouse. Both steaks were delicious. The shrimp was sautéed and had a peppery garlic flavor...no cocktail sauce or dipping butter needed.Drinks were excellent...Blood Mary and an Old Fashion. The lakeside setting was more than great...it was wonderful. I highly recommend eating here...we were celebrating 🍾 our Wedding Anniversary.

1st time there was this past Sunday(8/14). Very impressed with the porterhouse, nachos, portabella mushroom fries! Priced competitive and not over priced. Service by Lauren was great! Will definitely be going back very soon!

Awesome experience! Great food, drinks and service. There were 15 of us and every order was cooked to perfection for the way it was ordered. No complaints on any part of our experience. Highly recommend to anyone. Price was great too!

Great food and great service! Steak was cooked to perfection and perfect sized portions! My only regret is not getting to try everything! Can't wait to come back!

We had our wedding reception here and the atmosphere, food and service was amazing! They were very accommodating to our requests and all are guests had a fabulous time! Our memories are priceless!

We dined here Saturday for the first time. We had tenderlon tips, walleye, and pork chops. Food was delicious, service was fine (thanks, Emma) and we will be back soon!

Hands down, best burger baskets in the area. If your looking for relaxed atmosphere with great food and drinks, look no further. I had the black and bleu burger basket, AMAZING! Service was fast and friendly. This wissota lodge is a must try! You won’t be disappointed

Wow, our favorite new place to eat and overlook the water on Lake Wissota. Steak, seafood, spaghetti, tenderloin tips in marsala sauce and their burgers - EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious and we are not typically easy to give reviews like this.
