The Speakeasy Bar & Restaurant

Terrific dinner. Duck empanadas were crunchy perfect with noticeable duck flavor and savory sauce filling, interesting note from the duck (?) sauce. Bistro filet was perfectly executed, unbelievably tender, with the most airy whipped potato accompaniment. Our server Missy very considerate helped pre-divide the entree to be able to cross share easily. Live music from a local artist.

We ordered the Beef Tips w/ Whipped Mashed Potatoes and Veggies. The beef tips had a gorgonzola cream sauce. It. Was. Delicious! It was honestly such a great meal.

We loved the live music and our waitress was so kind.

We had a very enjoyable dinner in the Speakeasy Restaurant while on a road to the Skyline Drive. Our food was delicious and the service was outstanding. We really loved the Mushroom and Butternut Squash Tart ($20.95). The restaurant was very busy on the Saturday night we visited it; however, service was still very friendly and attentive.

We dined on a Sunday night. The food was amazing. My spouse had the duck with potatoes and broccolini and I had the snapper with wild rice and broccoli. We had drinks and cheesecake for dessert. This is a beautiful restaurant with a great staff. Kudos to the chef for the excellent food and marvelous presentation.

Incredible! This is easily the best food in Luray.. We visited twice. The staff is very friendly and personable. The menu was concise with intriguing specials and a wonderful cocktail selection. I devoured my Filet Mignon! I would recommend this place to anyone.

A wonderful place to have dinner. The food was great, the service was super nice and happy, and with the outdoor seating, the view was beautiful.

We had the specials and were not disappointed. The slow-roasted duck in apple butter was phenomenal and probably the best duck I've ever had. The apple butter was smooth and made into a glaze. So good! The filet mignon with gorganzola was also so yummy. The gorganzol was made into more of a sauce similar to alfredo. It was delicious! We also had Thai spring rolls that were super fresh and delicious.

Very cool spot if you are in the area. They have the full menu at the speakeasy downstairs as well as upstairs. Solid appropriately priced food and drinks!

Nice specials but a somewhat limited menu but I think everyone can find something here. Really enjoyed the burger. People in the party tried the oysters Rockefeller and thoroughly enjoyed them.

My daughters and I traveled from Ohio to Luray to hike in Shenandoah this weekend, and we ate dinner at The Speakeasy twice. Outstanding food sand top notch service! Highly recommend!

We truly enjoyed this place from the food, the service, and atmoshere. Everyone from the waiter and the staff were friendly, food was great (lobster ravioli was really good, but the pork entree was special), and they even had a guy playing his guitar and playing all kinds of music. A truly special place if you're in the area.

Got blackened fillet & a chocolate dessert. It was all amazing food! I can't wait to go back again!

We stopped in for some apps and drinks! The fried green tomatoes with the sauce and cole slaw are out of this world!

This is a wonderful place the ambiance of the place fits in with the rest of the inn I had the oyster Rockefeller and the French onion soup both excellent choices .
