If you are looking for the best place to process your animals look no further! This was the first time I have used them and I will be a repeat customer for life. Super friendly, easy to deal with, easy facility to unload big hogs, and the product you get in return is phenomenal. Everything was cut and packaged just how it was requested. You can tell a lot of time, effort and care went into their work. I wanted chorizo links...amazing! I have been to a number of butchers in my years of raising hogs, and all the bacon was always just straight salt pork...not bad but this bacon...holy cow, I am blown away at how good this bacon is! Not a mouthful of salt, but smoky, a little sweet a little salty...fantastic! Your team here is top notch, my only complaint is...I don't live next door to your shop!!! But I cannot thank you enough for your service. If I could give you 100 stars I would!

We are very pleased with the deer meat we got made. Very Good baloney,cheese brats and jerky and sausage. I took probably 6 deer to them this year and will definitely be back again. Reasonable prices.

Best processor for your deer in the area! It's a 2+ hour round trip from home, but well worth it!

Pleasant Valley Meats is the place to bring your deer!!! I have tried others but now I drive almost a hour here to bring my deer and it’s worth it! The staff are super friendly and the facility is nice and clean and the turn around is pretty quick. Everything is packaged nice and the jalapeño and cheese summer sausage, snack sticks, burger patties and brats are amazing!! Next season I will try the other products they offer. Brought my deer here for years and will continue to do so.

They are under new management but maintained the best service around. We raise pigs and have used other butchers. Pleasnat Valley has the best product. We love the sausage they produce. They are doing some remodeling and making some improvements to their facility. We will continue to use them and are excited about their new facility.

Mr. Monroe is great to work with. His work is qaulity, his shop is top notch and his crew takes pride in their work. His prices are more than reasonable and his turn around time is fast. I went 45 minutes out of my way to get a bear processed here and I will continue to do so for all my processing needs. All of my meat was clearly labeled, very well packaged and excellently prepared. His sausage is great!!! You can’t beat the customer service from this father and son business, especially when considering the quality of work for the price.

Absolutely the most cleanest butcher shop I’ve ever ever seen . Maria that took our phone call and that ran the front desk was spectacular to work with on our cuts . They are very professional and get it done it a timely manner .. it was definitely worth the drive from Goshen va to FarmVille va (2 hour drive) to have our beef processed. I would definitely without a doubt recommend them to anyone who is looking to have meat processed. Will definitely be revisiting them for our next need to be slaughtered.. prices are very reasonable also !! They are worth more rhen what they charge !!!!

Mr. Miller is so easy to work with and makes sure his customers are happy every time. I have been using Pleasant Valley Meats for years and have always had great experiences. He processes meat in many different ways and my favorites are the sumer sausage, snack sticks and the smokes link sausages.

The folks here are extremely nice and accommodating. The processing is professional and timely. Love using then for all my deer needs. (Try the jalapeno and cheese sausage!)

Got summer sausage and breakfast sausage made out of my deer. Both came out better than any other processor and I noticed they get more meat from the deer than other places do. Definitely will return.
