Providence Lodge

We had to cancel our large wedding ceremony Due to Covid-19. We took our guest list down to immediate family only so we needed a place to stay. We found this place and it was absolutely amazing. The size, the great charm, the huge kitchen and even our wedding on the front porch! Anne was a great, courteous, helpful host. She was always there to help with any questions. I would highly recommend.

Stayed with a huge group from the NC Museum of Natural Science and it was super quaint, eclectic, and relaxing. We had the huge place all to ourselves. Each room is themed with a native species like birds, bears, or reptiles. Most have their own bathroom attached. There is a large great room with pianos, a relaxing library on the lower level, and a great view of the Lake from the top of the street. The walls are thin, but it's quiet. It's a very rustic and unique place to stay and it's super close to the Smokies and Asheville. The breakfast in the morning was spectacular: we had french toast casserole one morning and egg and cheese croissants the next. Fresh fruit, coffee, etc too. And they will accommodate any diet such as vegan or gluten allergies, etc. I'll be back for sure!!

A great cabin option for large groups. It's incredibly old and you can notice (nothing bad), but that's part of the charm. Highly recommended as you can easily walk to and around the lake and to the look out point.

We wanted someplace unique and Providence Lodge definately fit that!
Anne is wonderful, fast response and set us up in a great room with our own door to the porch when I told her this was my birthday trip to drive the entire Blue Ridge Parkway. The lodge is huge and we really enjoyed our stay. No it is not the Hilton but better to us... Country & Rustic for the perfect relaxing retreat! Would definately stay again!

It's a little dated, (although, at this point, this sort of adds to the experience) but my youth group has been going here for years and they have always been friendly and courteous. The food quality has fluctuated quite significantly over the years (the most recent breakfast that we are was quite tasty). We love going here and they are really easy to work with.

This is an awesome place to stay with history dating to the early 1900’s. It’s a very roomy place able to fit large families with awesome views a short walk away. They staff were excellent at providing accommodations for my stay here.

My party of 25 greatly enjoyed our stay at Providence Lodge. Anna was very warm and welcoming. The views were beautiful and plentiful.

Adorable little mountian, barn style inn, very spacious, many adorable themed rooms! Clean!!! Fresh sheets, hospital style tucked in, squishy pillows, clean towels and bathrooms, no dust or spider webs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! That outdoor patio was so relaxing, short walk from the lake, Anne the hostess was incredible!!! Super sweet, attentive, went above and beyond! Will definitely be back!!!

I came here with my sorority for our sisterhood retreat and we had an amazing time . The place is big and is really cozy and the place looks amazing, it has many rooms and the hosts were amazing!

This is a lovely quiet place to stay. Ann the innkeeper is so kind and helpful. Walking around the lake is beautiful in the morning. Would be a great place to bring a large family.

Lodge has numerous bedrooms, large kitchen facility, TV and wifi. Rustic appearance but nice amenities. Great place for a large group.

Thank you to Ann our host. She was wonderful. The home was the perfect solution for our scout ski trip.

Amazing quaint mountain Inn on the beautiful Lake Junaluska. The staff and Inn keeper (Anne Rhymer) we're top notch. 5 stars - WILL be going back :)

I worked there as a teenager many years ago in the 60's. Many fond memories.

Great location with lots of rooms, huge kit hen, sprawling backyard! Great place for a vacay...right by the lake!

Loved this place!! So much room for our large family. The lake and mountains were beautiful.
