El Mariachi Mexican Bar & Grill

On our way back from a day trip to Charlottesville, we stopped here to grab dinner. We sat pretty quickly. As soon as you walk in, they have a few tables and a fairly large bar, and then to the left, there are larger dining areas with booths and more tables. We eat at a lot of Mexican restaurants, and this one was pretty unique with their menu. They had things that I've never seen, so naturally, I tried their Mexican hot dog. Overall, the hot dogs were pretty good. They're big, all beef hot dogs, so they're pretty filling. It said it came with potato chips, but they actually gave me fries. My wife ended up getting the wheel of tacos, which is a bunch of different types of small tacos. Everything seems super fresh and tasty. The salsa was pretty good with a little bit of a kick. They also had a number of different items that I've never seen, like a potato quesadilla. Pretty easy location off the highway. I would highly recommend this place.

We stopped on our way back to New Hampshire & we’re so glad we did! Within 10 mins we were seated, had our drinks & food! The food was fantastic! We sat in the bar & were waited on by the bartender Sam. She was super friendly, knowledgeable about the menu & made great drinks. Very pleased we stopped & highly recommend this restaurant 🌸

Very nice place, great atmosphere, it felt very authentic. The murals on the walls were fantastic. And the food was excellent. Great atmosphere & service Don mean asc much if the food is subpar, but the food was top notch.

I had never been there before, but it was excellent! I will definitely go back. The food was delicious and didn't cost an arm and a leg. We knew it was going to be good since we had to wait, but only for 15 minutes. I've waited longer than that at the grocery store.

Where to start? The food is the best Mexican I’ve had across the east coast and I travel for work daily for work. The food was fresh and fast soon as we ordered not even 8mins later it was ready. I had the acp definitely recommend. Only think they could do better would be a bigger size on the guacamole but other than that. 10 of 10 would eat here again.

And they are great about customizing an order to exactly what you want. Hands down BEST MEXICAN FOOD I’ve ever had! I got the chicken fajita quesadilla and my husband got the El Mariachi Loco burrito (there was sooooo much meat inside).
The waitress was so great and friendly!!!!

1st off food is delicious, the staff is very friendly and have lots of recommendations. My wife and I frequent here on date night. WHEEL OF TACOS is hands down the best thing ever and is slept on. The califlour tacos are amazing.

Very good Mexican food. Carnitas were spot on. If I were to make a suggestion for improvement it would be to get better tortillas. They were fine but a better product would really compliment the well-prepared meat.

I heard from others that their food was good and I finally took the opportunity to go for lunch. I ordered one chicken burrito with cheese melted on top, which included sides of rice and refried beans. It was delicious! And I had enough to bring home for my supper tonight. I loved the atmosphere and music. I will recommend this restaurant to others and will go there again.

I thought the food here was very good the service was excellent and the price was right. I had been looking for a Mexican food restaurant ever since moving here from Arizona and I really enjoyed this establishment. I would suggest you give it a try for yourself. Really enjoyed it.

The ambiance created at this eatery is only surpassed by the excellence in service and the food. That said, this is a place worth your time and money .

I had been traveling all day and craving Mexican food. I found this place off of exit 136. The food was do good! The portion sizes were generous and tasty. The restaurant was very clean and vibrant. There's a bar. And everything was served very quickly. I highly recommend. If I'm ever in the area again I'm stopping by El Mariachi, it is an experience.

Phenomenal! Foremost food is fresh, hot and made to order, service top notch and portions are huge. We will be visiting again.

First time in this restaurant, as we were traveling. It's fantastic 👍😀 delicious, fresh food... generous portions... friendly staff. There was a significant wait, but it was Saturday night during Memorial Day Weekend, so that's not unexpected. There is a reason why people wait for it. 🙂 well done, El Mariachi, thank you!

The food was amazing and our sever was very friendly. Best quesadilla I have ever had. Next time I'm at Zions Crossroad we will be eating here.

I kno my Mexican food I grew up in Chicago and sw detroit bka “Mexican town”eating all types of different cuisine.
When I approached from outside I knew it was legit. Inside so many different aromas every plate that came out smelled amazing. I ordered the flautas because I knew since everything else was legit they could probably do some great flautas. And man they were good I even had a cold one for breakfast and it was amazing. The HORCHATA WAS PERFECT. Also every one was polite. A big person will have trouble in the bathroom tho lol…

It’s always super packed here so I don’t go often. We had over an hour wait this night. It was raining and cold so none of our crew wanted to go find anywhere else. Zions doesn’t have many options. I wish I would have taken a photo of my meal. I had the ACP (arroz con pollo) it was delicious. Very large portions. I ate it at dinner and ate it for four other meals. It was worth it. I also had the sangria margarita and it was great as well.
