El Asadero Mexican Food

I’ve been coming here for years. The service and food are awesome. I love the chips and salsa. I usually order the chicken mole enchiladas, so delicious. Stop by and try it if you have not yet!

Great food. I ordered the al pastor burrito. It's a nice place with a really friendly owner. The food is all really good and I like how fresh it is. Recently tried their tacos and they are amazing and fresh af.

One of my favorite place when visiting Salt Lake. Food is excellent and very good service. Hand made tortilla is just GREAT.

This place don't have the decor or reputation like Red Iguana, but if you don't want the wait, this place is good.

This place look and feel like fast food, but food is definately good and price is very reasonable.

Avoid sitting close to the bathroom, you will smell cleaner chemical.

I have been missing good Mexican food since I left Texas. I have been searching and searching for 9 years and finally found somewhere that doesn’t make me miss the Mexican food in Texas. The hand made tortillas are hands down the best part!

The food at this mom-and-pop restaurant is amazing! The lengue tacos and refried beans are some of the best I've ever had. The staff is bilingual and amazingly kind. I can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu: Especially the tamales.

I go to Salt Lake for a couple weeks every year and I eat at this place almost every day while I’m there. Everything on the menu is amazing and the owner is an awesome guy.

Just amazing, the staff and owner are super friendly and the food is 100% authentic and it looks exactly how it is shown on the menu and hand made tortillas are a big bonus, I highly recommend this place if you want some authentic Mexican food.

Satisfying, authentic, affordable Mexican food in a quaint atmosphere. This is some of the freshest-tasting Mexican I've ever had. I recommend ordering off the back 2 menu pages, which contain excellent tostadas, gorditas, and tortas.

This place is MY FAVORITE ! ! ! Its home made food, not fast food! Fresh hand made tortillas on the spot with your order, its owner operated so they are always making sure everything is to your liking. They are also VERY, VERY FRIENDLY and can definitely take some jokes 😊. You can also order ahead of time and just go to the drive thru to pick ip your order which is awsome. Its real mexican food not like red iguana and definitely better priced for their portions. I would disagree with anything else said this place like its owners is awsome!

This place has awesome prices. My favorite thing here is the enchilada sauce used on the smothered burritos I get. It is the perfect blend of spicy and sweet, and is borderline addictive. The textures on the soft tacos are amazing as well.

Delicious food at a very inexpensive price. We would definitely come back if we're ever in town again. Husband raved about his smothered burrito. There are no vegetarian options on the menu but they helped make something work for me. The chips and salsa alone are worth the trip. I wish I would have purchased a quart to take home!

This place is great. My carnitas tacos were very good and their salsas are really next level with their flavor complexities. The staff were so pleasant and helpful and one of the guys I think maybe the owner even brought me a complimentary piece of cake that was delicious. I definitely will go there again especially for the $6 lunch special.

Great little restaurant. The food tasted delicious and home made. They make home made tortillas right there which makes things taste so much better. The price is very affordable and the people very friendly! Highly recommend.

This place is a local spot and right across the street from the UTAH State fair park.

They have a drive thru as well and outdoor seating for the summer.

They have parking as well and their menu is quite big and you can really find something for even the pickiest water.

The staff is always super nice and friendly. The prices are really affordable as well.
