I stopped by last fall just looking. Terry McLean showed me the 2024 Tucson. I explained that I wasn’t ready to buy at that time. He had my number but didn’t harass me!

Last week I decided to purchase a Tucson and contacted Mr McLean. He was knowledgeable and professional but even more he treated me with respect. I have a new vehicle that I love and feel like I paid a fair price!

He always greets me with a smile and makes sure my car is taken care of. I bought my 2024 tuson October 29th from Southern states Hyundai I have never been there before. I Do not usually go to Raleigh, I saw what they had online and had to go! Buying my car was, Extremely simple And peaceful They made everything very Easy. The inventory was amazing. The people all of them were amazing. It Was Comfortable and And clean I got my vehicle for an unbelievable price. I have nothing but wonderful, wonderful things to say about Southern states Hyundai. Thank you, Especially Rick! We bought our car from there a year ago and took it in for a complimentary oil change. While the initial service was subpar (there was a mishap with the filter alignment, which resulted in oil leaking out), Raymond -- one of the heads of their quick lube department (which I believe is shared across a few of the Southern States dealerships)-- went above and beyond to make it right. Seriously, that man deserves a raise. He triple checked it wasn't leaking, got the car detailed to remove any residual oil, and even power washed the spot of oil out of our driveway. After our initial experience, I was prepared to write off Southern States for any maintenance in the future. But now Raymond has earned back our trust and loyalty. Thank you!!

I received service from southern states on my genesis g80. To be clear, my wife is a service fanatic so we take preventative stuff seriously and plan to drive this car until the wheels fall off.
We brought our 2018 in for transmission service, oil, tire rotation, and another fluid that’s not immediately clear to me.
I was quoted two hours and it was about that long. For awareness, my son recently took his Kona here for an oil change- so I knew they were gonna bring out all the cabin and other filters and show how dirty they were - easy upsell but not the full court press. I declined.
The wife says they are cheaper than the other (unnamed) genesis place in town.
SS doesn’t roll out free premium snacks and soda like the other place, but the waiting area is clean and comfortable. The Coffee won’t kill you.
I see SS as 5/5 stars. They’re not gonna take advantage of you; they’ve been here for many years. SS didn’t recommend stuff I didn’t need, and did not overcharge.
What else do you want in a service center?

Wow!! … As we all know this past year has been pretty tough for most car shoppers. I had been wanting to get a new car, but wasn’t really ready to fully commit. At the last minute I decided to pull the trigger. I was in a time crunch and the car I thought I wanted just was not available for months. As my boyfriend convinced me to just go see what was available on the lots, I ran across Southern States Hyundai of Raleigh!!! I’m so glad I did!! From the beginning Joe M. was AMAZING!!! He showed me around, took me on a test drive and was EXTREMELY knowledgeable on the vehicles. Not only did he help me through the purchasing process, but he went above and beyond to make sure I was able to get my tags on when they came in. Thanks so much for helping me accomplish a personal goal of mine … purchasing my 1st vehicle on my own! 😃 I LOVE MY NEW CAR!!

I cannot overstate how blown away I was by the service I received today from Chris Council and all of the employees at Hyundai Service!
I called yesterday stating my car was hesitating during acceleration and I had concerns.
I was told there were no immediate appointments available, however I could bring the car by and they would work on as time allowed.
I rented a car and figured I would need it for at least 3-4 days at a minimum.
I did some shopping and received a call within an hour. Chris expertly detailed what needed to be done to fix the problem and that my warranty should cover it. ( I did have other items that were optional and suggested, completed.)
Here’s where the much deserved FIVE STARS kicks in- Chris than told me the car part was in stock and it would be finished a few short hours later!
Everyone at Hyundai was welcoming, respectful, professional and did not push any additional services that I did not want or couldn’t afford.
I will return for ANY service needs in the future!

Took my car in for service and Q had recommended my 60,000 mile service so I just opted for it. So he looks up my history and found out I just had it done last oil change. I don’t know anything about cars and must have forgot that I did that last time. So it was awesome he was able to point that out which made me feel super appreciative of him being awesome. Recently purchased two new vehicles at Southern States Hyundai of Raleigh....
Our new 2023 Hyundai Tuscon Limited and 2023 Santa Fe XRT.
What a great and satisfying buying experience my wife and I had purchasing these two new vehicles.
The entire staff was very patient, friendly and knowledgeable. All our questions were answered.
Our salesman -- Joey Gay was exceptional! Both times, for both cars, he came to use with the best price by far! Even after the sales -- he was attentive to all of our questions and needs.
Can't say enough good things about our experience at Southern States of Raleigh -- the entire staff -- Sales Manager, our salesman, and finance officer were phenomenal!

I was in a jam as a different tire shop lost my key for my lug nut locks. Chris in service was able to take care of the issue in less then 5 minutes without even getting out of the car. Will be are new go to dealer.

Had trouble finding a battery for my car anywhere, turned out to be a part only available at the dealer. After speaking with other dealers in the area and getting no followups/ callbacks over two days, I called Southern States and between the time I called them and the time I left the dealership it had been less than an hour.

Communication, service, and customer service are extremely important and they excelled in all 3 areas with me.

Dan in service is awesome! He got us in for the exact appointment timeframe we needed. When we arrived, he greeted us immediately and got us situated in the waiting room, which was clean and tidy! He kept us updated on how long it would take and what was needed for maintenance. We appreciate the great service we received at this facility.

Updated to say that not only is their service department amazing, Terry in sales is the absolute best. I’ve had my car serviced here and will continue to service my new vehicle purchased here through Terry. Terry was prompt, honest, and a pleasure to work with!
