Riverhills Park

On the banks of the Hillsborough River, Riverhills Park is a beautiful spot to take in Old Florida flora and fauna. The boardwalk provides excellent photo opportunities as well as a good site for bird watching. There is easy access to a boat launch with parking nearby. The playground is well kept, and has lots of areas and equipment for children to explore.

A beautiful, natural little park with lots of birds, ducks, caterpillars, and not too many people. It is shady and green, and lovely, with a nice little community garden. Very peaceful.

Very cool little trails for the kids and adults alike. Enjoyable environment and beautiful scenery. Love all the ducks and cranes at the park.

This was our first time discovering this park.... Parking totally sucked, due to so many parties but once parking was figured out we loved our experience. We saw so much wildlife.. going back today

This park is so beautiful! Best place to watch a Sunset at Hillsborough river. Windy days are equally enjoyable with these oak trees.

Small but beautiful park with a boardwalk along Hillsborough River is a lovely place to watch ibis and other birds with an occasional alligator.

There's a play ground for the kids too.

Great place for drinking Arabic coffee by the river with your lovely ones and enjoy watching the birds around you looking for food. Sunset is amazing. The big trees is beautiful in every season. You have to be careful there are many alligators in the river 🐊

This is such a beautiful park. The scenery is a amazing, and you can take your boat put there. A safe environment for children to play. Located in a nice quiet neighborhood.

A nice little park in the Temple Terrace area with a fantastic view of the Hillsborough River! I just wish the board walk is longer so one could savor the view! Perfect for a late afternoon walk!

Absolutely Beautiful. A lot of something for Everyone. Ducks, ibis, large mouth Bass, Alligators, boat ramp, fishing dock. Beautiful playground area with nice equipment for everyone. Only reason we left, was to get back home to see the Bucs win the super Bowl. Will definitely be going again soon. The Surroundings were Stunning with the Birds being in Abundance. Very clean Park.

This park was very tranquil and had a beautiful water view. I loved the boardwalk and the shady pavilions. There is also a playground and a boat ramp. It was a little busier the day I went.

Beautiful park right on the Hillsborough river. So quiet you forget you are in the city. It is a great place for the kids to play while you walk on the boardwalk, enjoy the wildlife and scenery. There is also a boat ramp so you can get out on the river as well.

Such a gem of a park with beautiful views tucked into a quiet neighborhood. Includes a boat ramp, playground, picnic tables, boardwalk and a pier. Lots of birds to watch and beware of alligators.

This park is beautiful and the boardwalk is just perfect. There are benches that like the walk so you can sit and admire the sun set or gators which ever floats your Interest! Good date idea for a sun set memory. An area for a kids bday is also an option. A play scale is at the park as well.

Beautiful, peaceful spot on the Hillsborough River! Lots of birds and plants at river's edge. The boardwalk along the river is a great, relaxing stroll. The river has decent flow and is always reflecting sunlight. One of my favorite spots to relax and reflect.

What an absolute gem of a park. Nice for a short stroll on the boardwalk. Best for chilling relaxing and seeing many exotic birds and beautiful scenery. Plus there was a silly squirrel up to many shenanigans:)

Hidden gem! Please ignore the opening times, there is no entrance and you can just enter it. I think the pictures explain why it is worth coming here and eat your own breakfast/lunch/diner/snack!

Super easy launch site! Beautiful view up river. Water was easy to navigate and the river was super wide. There were areas that had lite shade, but generally speaking there isn't a ton. But we love having such a wide river which avoids congestion.
