Such a cool little find in Raleigh, a used bookshop, with affordable prices and a large selection! Outside they have a 25¢ wall and a 10¢ wall with books you would actually want to read.

This place was an awesome little bookstore full of SO MUCH BURIED TREASURE! There is so much fun stuff to be found here, so I would highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area

Great bookstore for used books of all genres; fiction, non-fiction, and anything in between. Great prices too! They have 10 and 25 cents book outside, but there are also great quality books at great prices inside as well. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. Parking available. This was my first time visit here and will definitely be coming back.

It’s a great used bookstore! The staff are friendly and very helpful, the store is easy to navigate, and I love the huge wall of discount books outside. The LP collection is a very nice resource for finding gifts for my family members. I’m so glad this treasure has been a part of downtown Raleigh for so long!

Love this place been coming here for years since I was in high school in the early 2000s. They always have good stuff and fair prices. Sometimes real good books and physical media are put outside in the 25 cent area.

Absolute favorite used book store in Raleigh - the people there are so nice, and the selection is amazing! I always leave with a huge stack of books. If you’re a reader, this is THE place to go.

Used books, CDs, DVDs and what not. Really fat people are not encouraged to visit because there are a lot of books in a very small building and available space to move is limited. However, if you are an average person who has come through the Time Tunnel from 50 years ago, you are probably thin enough to get around comfortably.

found soooo many intriguing books for really good prices, their selection is very wide-ranging and you’re bound to walk out with two armfuls of books if you let yourself get carried away like i did. will definitely be coming back!

I remember going here when I was in middle school. I discovered Calvin and Hobbes in the corner. We would go twice a week before picking up my sister at ballet and i have fond memories of the place.

We’re in a strange culture currently. some people want to ban books. I’ve never known anyone to be damned for reading too much, but rather it is for our lack of reading that we narrow our imagination and lessen our intelligence. Even the worst books are easily remedied by a better book thereafter.

In the debate of books vs. ban… bet on books, every time.

I don’t understand that the mentality of looking around at all the problems in the world and thinking to onself: You know who the real threat to American democracy is?

Librarians.

In the wee hours of the morning after the bars close you can purchase the 25 cent to the left or the 10 cent to the right. The Readers Corner has good quality surprises in the $.25 section. I got a bird song book and a military history book at 3 AM in the morning. $.50 for the two.

Lots of selection. Was a bit too crowded for our tastes when we visited, but that just means it's a good bookstore! Incredibly friendly and helpful staff.

This is literally the coolest used book shop. The owners are super nice and know their stuff, and this is just the place where you go in expecting to find something and find that, but also some awesome treasures you didn't expect as well. They also will take old books off your hands, and will pay for them if they think they'll turn a profit. If not, you can still give it to them and they'll put them outside in the 25¢ section. Awesome place and we'll be going back for sure!

One of my favorite places to find books. You have to have the time to look and search, but totally worth it. An institution in this area!

A great used book store. Easy to find. The books are well organized with unique selections and good prices. I found a great unusual copy of a David Foster Wallace book and ducked out to catch a plane home, but I could have spent the day there picking through all their great selection. I'm jealous of those of you who live close by. Enjoy the browsing and then the reading!

I've been going to this book store for 20 years. Best selection around for so small a store. A must go if you pass through Raleigh.

I don't live in Raleigh, but I've traveled here for work over the last couple years. If I ever get a little free time, my favorite thing to do is hit up used bookstores, and this one has never disappointed. I am always extremely impressed with the selection, and come away with way more than my budget allows.
