Nice location just across the street from the lake. Very clean inside and out. Have transient boat slips. Nice Packer Game Day Specials when we went.....raffles and give aways. Food and service was good. Bloody Mary was great with all sorts of appetizers on top. They have horseshoes and volleyball court. Looks like some boats for rent. Can't imagine coming to Lake Wissota and not making it to this place.

My dad and I enjoyed an excellent lunch on Saturday, 2 March. We arrived to a very full parking lot, but were delighted to find an empty table to the immediate left upon entering the establishment. Despite being very busy (a sign of how great this place is), we were waited on quickly after sitting at the high top table. We enjoyed a Spotted Cow while waiting for our food. My dad said the grilled cheese and gumbo were outstanding. My spicy chicken wrap and fries were fantastic. As an Air Force retiree, I thought it was great that the business offers a military discount on Mondays - will keep that in mind when next visiting the area! I will definitely stop by here for food and a drink anytime traveling by!

Stopped by for the first time on our way through town. Very good bar food! Menu big enough to please everyone in our large family. Very clean and pleasant. Lots of outdoor seating options, some covered with garage like doors that open, and some on a cement patio, all open to the lake, with a boat dock you can boat up to to eat here! Server was very friendly and speedy. We will definitely come back!

We really enjoy this new pitstop on our road trip. Friendly space, nice menu, good beer and a relaxing setting. Easy off/on from the highway. Enjoyed the cheese curds, grilled cheese and spicy burger.

Stopped in for lunch. One of the specials was a bluegill plate which came with choice of potato and a really good pepper cole slaw, which was vinegar based
Staff was friendly and attentive and there was a very nice selection of beers.

We had the fish special, and it was great. The food was all served hot and together. Our waitress was great and attentive. There was a fee to use a credit card, which I wasn't aware of ahead visit.

What a busy place! You’d never notice it as the servers were great. Relaxed bar/grill atmosphere but more unique menu items. Jalapeño popper burger was yummy.

Best salad bar in Northwestern Wisconsin, 3 different types of lettuce, homemade dressing and so many toppings. Fish and chips were delicious, and our bartender was super nice, knew all about the supper club. You betcha.

Had breakfast and the potatoes cakes are amazing. Also the sausage gravy was really good and the bloody Mary was one of the best of had in a long time. Not a typical zing zang that you get at most places.

Wasabi Caesar salmon salad on the summer menu is brilliant! Old favorite southwest Santa Fe salad never disappoints! They were worth sharing! Sunrise mimosa made this mimosa connoisseur very happy!

Best Bloody I've had on this trip. My favorite addition was the pickled asparagus....probably one of the best I've had. Cheese curds....on point and the spicy ones have a healthy kick. Thank you for a good meal!

Excellent experience for our anniversary. Atmosphere was calm, not too noisy, food was delicious especially for it not be focused on one genre, and our server was sweet and present. Thank you Sandbar, we'll be back!

Laid back atmosphere, they need more waterskis on the wall. Merchandise is VERY overpriced. Food is great, staff is quick and friendly!

Excellent fish tacos on Tuesdays! Loved whatever seasoning they used to prepare them, very good! Will be back 🌮🌮 They also have a very big patio with seating out back which is a big hit in the summer and fall months. Place was clean and had great service!

Nice atmosphere. Good prices on food and drinks. Good service. It has become one of my most frequent summer places to stop in Chippewa Falls.

Very nice and helpful staff! Food is great! Have a burger! My wife and I had 2 different burgers and thought they were great! Busy but food still came fairly quick. The burger with peanut butter was great! That had raspberry Chipotle on it and it was so good :).

Rather than going to a chain, we decided to seek out a highly-rated local spot for lunch. SandBar fits the bill. Just 3 minutes off of the freeway, it's a very good local bar on a lake with typical Wisconsin bar food (burgers, fish, pizza) and tap beers. Very reasonable prices and the terrace (basically a three-sided garage) is shady and relaxing.

The very best grilled Cajun cod I've ever had!!! Will definitely revisit if even remotely close to the area!! Wish I remembered my servers name because she was also 5 star!!

Food is excellent it is a little high priced.. buti have to say the set up outside is absolutely AMAZING! Besides great food, atmosphere and people, you can rent kayaks, canoes and paddle boats. It beautiful out here! I wish I would remembered to take pictures but these days I focus more on the people I'm with. Have a great summer y'all.

We happened to stop on a night that the packer game was on. My son and law got to experience his first game in a bar atmosphere. Had a great time people watching
