Dining in isn't really my thing over there but their calzones are consistent and good for the price. Me and my friends always get a construction zone and get whatever we want on it at like 1am haha. I've been eating here for the past 4 years and they taste the same since freshman year :) only problem is the occasional forgetting of a topping or two but they are working hard and it's never ill-intended. Highly reccomend a try !

The staff was very nice and friendly. I asked for a recommendation and got the chicken bacon ranch calzone. It was done quicker than I expected and was so delicious! They also had a pitcher of water and cups for free, so that was nice.

Took a bit of time to get my food but I didn’t mind. Really good price, I have trouble eating greasy food like this but their calzone and wings felt light and not overbearingly greasy. Would def go back so many options to try, can’t wait coming back to this place!

Last time I had DP dough was in Delaware in 2006... I begged my BF to bring me some home to Wilmington since he is going to Raleigh weekly for medical appointments currently and I ate a Twilight Zone tonight for dinner. Tastes exactly the same and was so good, even lukewarm after traveling 2 hours in the car. I wish there was one here in Wilmington!

I've been eating DP Dough for many years. It's good food for a great price. Last night I ordered the "dragon" calzone and one of the employees actually drew a dragon on the box! I had to share the artwork with the world. It made me smile during a bad work night.

Really good! They made it totally fresh (which is expected) and it was so good. I can’t say this about many chains that use chicken as a filling/topping but... I love the chicken here. I got the chicken fajita and it tasted quality. The veggies were great on this and I love how they always provide marinara. Pretty good price for how much food you get.

Always try something new every time we go in and have never been disappointed. Chicken Bacon Ranch and Cheeseburger are personal favorites but everything on the menu is absolutely amazing

The most delicious wings and calzones in all Raleigh! Definitely must try. I got state sauce wings with blue cheese and the school zone calzone hooked up with garlic parmesan and Italian seasonings.

Large well stuffed calzones. Interesting variety of fillings. Even low CAL options which is nice to see.
The devil was thin and crunchy and not overly heavy on the breading. One of the best Kelso news I’ve had. Small walk in, order at the counter, a few tables to eat inside. Nothing pretentious. A few tables outside. Prices are good for the portion size. And late night service.

I'm a huge fan. The staff is super friendly, and the food is the bomb. Several people who work here have gone out of their way to take care of me, and I very much appreciate that. TIP WELL! They deserve it and more.

Here is a picture of part of their menu. It has the vegetarian options separated. My favorites are the eggplant parm and the mac n' cheese (add jalapeno and tomato). You really can not go wrong here.

Food is AMAZING!! We've tried about 10 different calzones from across the menu, and haven't been disappointed yet! Staff is friendly and efficient, but it can get a bit crowded due to the small size of the store for our party (6 people)

Consistently the best calzones anywhere! I don't live in Raleigh, but when I visit, I have to go here. They're affordable, laid back, and the quality can't be beat.

This is one of the few late night food places in Raleigh that's been around forever.
The food is good.
The price is cheap.
4pm to 4am every day.
And to any complaints a few months ago, they've gone through a big change in management and employees, so everything is way improved.
As for the long wait times... they are short staffed. But they are hiring like crazy!!
I worked here and the management is awesome! And the tips/delivery bonus is great nightly takeaway for drivers.
Give them a try before trusting the bad reviews.
My faves are the Southern Zone and the Apple Pie (so amazing!)

I think I’m addicted… had the chicken bacon ranch calzone two weeks ago and have been back for more 3 times. It’s kinda tucked back into the recesses of a shopping center, I felt like I discovered something amazing when I saw it passing by. Plus it’s cheap with perfect portions and open super late.

Staff is friendly and I’ve never had issues with my orders. Highly recommend!!

This place is open so late and it's incredibly good. This is a dangerous combination as it ends up winning out at 11pm when we want food but everything is closed. The mango habanero sauce is sweet and spicy and goes well with basically every calzone. I recommend the buffer zone, but honestly you can't go wrong regardless.

I usually order for delivery. I love their calzones. As a vegetarian, I enjoyed the Veggie zone, Construction zone and the Spinner zone. I love the stinging honey garlic sauce for sides. I never got bored of DP dough. There are a lot of non veg options as well. Their menu is pretty transparent. I had a great delivery experience so far. I wish I knew about DP dough sooner.
