Henry's Louisiana Grill

I recommend you call ahead and make reservations, because this place is always packed, and for good reason too! Their food was too good, and their portion size was definitely more than I could handle 😂 I needed a to-go plate before the entree came out.
My fiance and I came here mid-week around 7 pm with no reservations, so the wait time for a table was about 45 min to an hour, but if your group is small then the seats at the bar are usually available; just ask the host. The service is great and the atmosphere is loud and casual, so have fun ♥🦞🦐🦀🍻

First time at Henry's. My Lady's family raves about this place, so I thought I'd give it a try. The service was great! The food is awesome! Henry makes time to greet his customers and talks with some. It's a little pricey, but the amount of food that comes on your plate is spot on with the price. I'll definitely be back.

Super delicious. Everything was amazing. Great dinning area why attentive service. Menu has a large selection of Cajun food. I loved it. Bathroom was on point. Try and budget for a pinball machine.

Henry’s is a small bayou of Louisiana in north Georgia. All that is missing are the skinny boats and live gators. And the food, oh boy BTW the entire reason for finding this slice of heaven.

Our server Catalina made sure everything was perfect, bringing out appetizers, main and dessert at the perfect time. Catalina also arranged for us to get a photo shoot with the man himself. According to Sheri, Henry has not changed since 2003 and the food is just as delicious.

Skinny Chicken, zucchini and squash, and dirty rice. Amazeballs. The spicy dirty rice complements everything.

My wife of nearly five years (can you say anniversary trip?) had Bayou cake with remoulade and grits along with a side of pan fried shrimp.

The world famous bread pudding served with warm caramel literally took her breath away.

We leave north Georgia with bellies full of Louisiana hospitality and pine for our return. Oh yea, also the great grandkids …

I am from Mississippi and have had a lot of cajun food and have been to Louisiana a lot and i was impressed with this place. We started off with the boudin balls which were great but I have had better. Honestly I wasn’t super impressed with the Caesar salad that came with the meal. For my main course I got the atchafalaya which I have never had before and it was really good I got it with the fried catfish over grits and the grits were pretty creamy. They also had some sweet cornbread and french bread that came with the meal.

Came in on a busy Friday night and had an excellent time. Malcom was a very welcoming and kind server. We had the pleasure of meeting the chef. Food is consistently delicious. Highly recommend making reservations in advance. Just be aware, they will not sit you until your entire party is there.

Henry’s is always great but tonight our server has made our experience even better! Thank you chef for a wonderful dinner and thank you to all the staff who helped make it possible! Our appetizer was the special of the day and as always our entrees were chicken Ooh La La and the seafood Ooh La La.

We celebrated our 5 yr wedding anniversary and enjoyed salad, alligator as our appetizer, and my wife had shrimp and grits, while I enjoyed the crawfish étouffée! Delicious lunch in a great atmosphere! Highly recommend and we’ll be back!.

After hearing so many recommendations & reading numerous positive reviews, my Date & I came to Henry's. I have been to New Orleans many times & became a great fan of Cajun Cusine.
I had the 3 sampler, Jambalaya, Etoufee, and Gumbo. My Date had some kind of Pasta with a White Sauce. Our meals were absolutely delicious & cooked to perfection! I was pleasantly surprised, to find amazing Cajun food in Georgia. The place was crowded as to be expected.
I have to give a salute to our wonderful server, Ashley Pittman. She was very polite, professional and just a Sweetheart. She took care of our every need. Other staff members on the floor were always ready to assist with drinks, removing plates etc. If you are looking for a fabulous Cajun meal, going to Henry's is a must!!

Not only was Henry a great host all the employees were so helpful. We had the best waitress and ate the best food. Our drink were never empty and as soon as our plates were empty they were cleaned off the table. This has been the best service I have received in a very long time in Acworth. Thank and Merry Christmas. WE WILL BE BACK!!!

The staff is fantastic! The owner is one of the coolest people, and he throws beads at you. Well, let me rephrase, he throws them over your head to get them around your neck. Special touch when he comes around every table. Great job! The food was SO DELICIOUS. Get ready for your taste buds to dance and be happy! The explosion of flavors, wow! Some of the best chicken I've had, super moist and flavorful. I wish I could have brought some cornbread back home with me. YUM! Oh, I would make a reservation just because otherwise I'm sure you will have to wait because everyone wants to eat here! Don't blame them. Enjoy!

Best food ever. I live in South Carolina and travel to Atlanta several times a year. I won’t leave town without making a trip up to Henry’s for a meal. Chicken Ooh Lala is my go to but you won’t get anything bad here. The food is absolutely phenomenal. The service and atmosphere are always great. Highly recommend. 100/100

I’m not usually a huge fan of seafood, but Henry’s had a lot of great options to choose from. They even let us try dishes, like the catfish, half and half in the two styles they prepare.

All the food was amazing, the waiter was so friendly, and the owner even came around to give everyone beads. It just felt like a warm and welcoming family kind of place.

Don’t miss out on their desserts either. They are well worth saving room for.

The food is awesome. I will definitely be coming back. I especially live the cornbread.

Chief Henry is fantastic... Socialized with everyone in the restaurant. Great time here highly recommend.

Chef Henry is doing something special in Acworth, GA. This restaurant has everything you would expect to find in Louisiana and if you're lucky you'll even catch Chef Henry tossing some beads around your neck along with some great conversation. He's quite the character and I'm sure has enough life stories to keep you coming back here over and over again.

Everything about Henry's is exceptional. Atmosphere, Service, Food Quality, Taste and Authentic Flavors - all of it top notch. Even on a Tuesday night this place drew in a crowd and I suspect it's busy each and every night. Even if there's a wait, it's well worth it.

The Jumbalaya and Chicken Ooh La La dishes were out of this world Delicious. Jumbalaya is perhaps some of the best I've had. The perfect mix of andouille sausage, seafood, creole-style rice and onions and peppers. The Chicken Ooh La La was so rich and satisfying. That is one dish I would order again and again and again.

My only complaint is that this place is too far from my home town in Florida. I'd come back here just to come have dinner here again. Can't wait to do just that.

I’ve eaten all across this country and this is still one of my favorite places to eat. I’ve had multiples of everything on the menu over the years. I’m going to miss Henry, but I’m hoping they don’t change a thing. This place is the best restaurant in metro Atlanta. You can’t go wrong with any dish. I usually order food to go so I can eat it again the next day. Sometimes, they’ll post specials on Facebook. You’ll find yourself rearranging your week when you see one you like. This place is that good. Make a reservation on weekends or holidays or you’ll be wishing you did.

My wife and I visited for lunch on a Tuesday. We didn't have reservations, but they are recommended, at least two hours prior. We had no wait. The restaurant is beautiful. There is a bar as well as tables. Elisa was our server, and she was very helpful and sweet. Service was fast and courteous. Food came out right away. We only ordered appetizers. We ordered the sampler, Jambalaya, shrimp and crawfish atouffee, and gumbo. Also ordered the calamari. It was all delicious. We lived in Mobile, Alabama, and visited the Mississippi, Louisiana area often. This food is authentic. Make sure to visit whenever in the area, we will.
