Daddy's Country Kitchen

Been going here for years. You can check their daily menu on their Facebook page, which is nice. They have the best cobblers, period! Apple is my favorite but I tried the blueberry tonight and it was just as good. Their chicken and dumplings were delicious. It’s a small restaurant but offers good country style food at reasonable prices. We’ve never had any issues here.

A new Indian restaurant with a lot of seating! This would be a good place to host an event. It was nice meeting Raju and Deepaka. The food is great! Biryani, tandoori chicken, rasmalai, butter chicken…all very good. If you’re in the area, it’s worth checking out. Also, they were very nice to my kids.

This place is the best and for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend! If your not the Boujee type that's looking for white table clothes but just want great food at an affordable price. This is the place to be! I love the breakfast buffet 😍

I guess we must have missed being informed that when the new owner took over the food quality would go down a lot. It was a good place to get a good meal at a reasonable cost with good service. But yesterday the once best chicken in town was dry and overcooked. And no white meat. Other vegetables were not up to Daddy’s prior standards either. We should have known something had changed as the parking lot is normally pack as is the inside with seniors by 4:30. It was nearly empty. Good bye Daddy’s!

Went for Brunch on Sunday. Most of the food was cold or room temperature. Eggs were hard and almost gone. There were like two pancakes. Really disappointed in this new ownership. Paid $16 for what? Cold food and salad?

1st time visit, we're from Taiwan, very reasonable buffet style price, although foods not a lot of options, but it tastes good, very country style with soft music.

My fiance and I just discovered Daddy's kitchen and now it's one of our hotspots to go to for dinner at least twice a week!! Country food at its best!! Btw..the waitresses are very ' Southern Friendly ' !!😇❣🙏

A visit on Wednesday. The food price for $12. I went back on Thursday. The food price had went up to $15 per person. The waitress handed me my receipt prior to me. Eating lunch wherever one else. Was getting their receipt after they finished their lunch.

In the area for a weeklong baseball tournament, it was so nice to have a home cooked meal instead of the fast food. Friendly service & fellow customers. Knew it was gonna be good when I pulled in & the parking lot was full for this place at 130pm. At $10pp incl drink, it was well worth it. Fried chicken was nice & crispy. Also enjoyed the steak ‘n gravy, green beans & delicious peach cobbler.

A very welcoming and warm atmosphere with great service. Good food with large portions for a great price!

The waitress was exceptional the food was decent there were some issues with napkins and such not being on the table

Passed by here a hundred times but have never gone, until a coworker took me in. I’ve only gone on Monday, buffet or order off menu. We’ve gotten buffet every time. On Monday they have fried chicken with sides, fried livers, and cherry cobbler. It’s pretty friggin good for $9 all you can eat!!! Oh,
They bring a pitcher of whatever your drinking so you don’t have to wait for a refill. Solid!

Friday is the seafood buffet. Krab salad is super good -krab and just enough mayo to hold it together. Shrimp prepared 2 ways, corn on the cob,green beans, squash casserole, baked potatoes, salad bar, fish fillets and whole fried catfish, fried chicken. Dessert was peach cobbler. If you leave hungry it is your fault.

Some of the best fried chicken I've had in a long time, also, all of their veggies were awesome, especially the Mac & Cheese and green beans.

Sweet tea was amazing and the service was on it! This was my first time to Daddy's and I intend to go again, real soon!!!

Daddy’s Country Kitchen is a great representation of Southern Cooking. The South is on POINT with this Peach Cobbler😘. Now this some good southern cooking😋😍

I love this place but the prices have increased so much that it's really not worth going in there for breakfast at $10. The food is ok. It's $18 for Friday night fish dinner per person is kind of high. However the service is above and beyond. 3 months ago when I went for breakfast it was $9 if you paid cash and there was extra fees if you paid with a debit or credit card. I paid cash today and it was $10 for breakfast. I used to go in at least three times a week but now I've cut myself down to once or twice a month I will still continue to have breakfast here or Friday night dinner but because of increased prices it's been hard to justify going even though it's just a dollar or two here and there.

Not my cup of tea. A smaller version of John boys I guess is how I'd describe it. Tasted like instant mash potatoes. It's old people food for sure. Cheap and all you can eat with no flavor.

Plenty of tables, plenty of great homestyle food, great coffee, very affordable meal wise, and fantastic service. It's a hidden gem and not like the pop culture chains in the area.

There’s never a time that I go to Daddy’s and leave not feeling full and happy. I go here as often as possible, but mostly every Wednesday for their chicken and dumplings. My partner is in LOVE with their potato salad too. The food is almost always fresh and if it’s not then it’s probably about to be because they don’t leave stuff sitting in the bar for long periods without maintaining the freshness. They stay up to standard by supplying gloves and hand sanitizers as well.

The food is simple, tasty, fresh, and feels warm just like a southern home cooked meal would. The pineapple cobbler is a MUST TRY! Like, I never thought of making a pineapple cobbler until I tried theirs. It’s so good. I will say depending on who is cooking or prepping changes the way some of the dishes are at time. For instance, the potato salad is sometimes chunkier with more mayo base on some days whereas on others it’s more finely chopped with mustard base. Both are good, but are things my partner and I have noticed about the food. Some days they do shell Mac n cheese bake and others it’s regular macaroni pasta baked. Regardless of how it’s prepared, it still always hits the spot.

The staff has always been so nice, helpful, attentive, and good spirited. They care about their customers and regulars dearly. Most of the time this place gets packed for dinner. It’s an older crowd this the restaurant has been around for awhile. I’m in my 20’s and love it though. The pricing is modest and for a small business I’ll gladly pay the extra fee since covid bumped it some. They deserve that.

Anyway, summary, the food is fresh and homey. The sweet tea is divine. The staff is fabulous and always has been. And the ambience is quirky and country. 10/10 recommend if you like places where you serve yourself for the most part.
