Duchess Restaurant & Lounge

Food was GREAT!! The manager Tialae was VERY personable with great hospitality. Drinks 🍹 were amazing. We had the Jollof Rice, Tilapia, Suya, Fufu and Cat fish Pepper Soup and Fried plantains. Everything was good.

Great people, great spot to wind down after a long night out. They are open really late, and extremely friendly. They do all they can to ensure you are comfortable and well taken care of

This was my first time trying Liberian food. This is a family spot by day and a beautiful lounge at night. I came with my family and the experience was simply awesome. We had the fish, jollof, and a stew. The staff was friendly/welcoming, food was fresh, and the restaurant was very clean.

We were here for a wedding anniversary! Great lounge. Dj and drinks were really nice. Definitely recommend for an event!

Not sugarcoating! I’ve just given this restaurant a try and I bet all the food I ordered on Uber eat was worth is. Bitter leaf soup is a bomb , fried rice is superb. Above all, the ayamase is busting. I would definitely be coming back. Rather than driving all the way to Tastee Africana that have decided to grow some wings lately. You’all have a new customer.

Obi was an exceptional host. Nice environment... nice vibe. Food was so tasty, great music and DJ. Will definitely return.

Great atmosphere. Everyone I've met that works there is great. I've had the egusi soup with eba 2x and it was great both times. My mom has had oxtail and she enjoyed it. The beef patty is great as well. Diverse food and drink menu and great music. Definitely check this place out!!

I’ve never had Jolloff rice and chicken or any other African dish for that matter. I must say it was wonderfully delicious. I would give Duchess another star if I could just for its awesome customer service alone. By the way Shanise was wonderful. She helped me select a wonderful dish paired with a great beverage. I can’t wait to come back with my wife.

Awesome Ambiance. Porscha, our bartender made the best Hennessey Margarita. Obi the owner very welcoming and friendly. Definitely a great spot to hangout Friday night.

The Duchess Cafe is amazing the food is delicious and the ambiance is wonderful you must check this place out Tuesday night is ladies night Friday and Saturday night you can dance your night away and then on Sunday they have football. this is definitely my new place to come to..

Very good vibes here. The music is really good. The goat stew and fufu is also good.

The service was great, the guys came around several times to check how we like the food, very quick in bring our food and drinks. The food was great its laterally the best jollof rice I've had.

I was amazed by what I saw. I really loved it. I got some soya and some foreign beer from Cameroon 🇨🇲 😋. Will recommend DUCHESS to anyone who needs a place to chill and have fun.

My wife and I were looking for something different. Since we’ve not experienced African fare, we ordered a recommended rice and chicken combination and it was fantastic!

You can listen to New Orleans bounce and Jamaican dancehall music while also eating the best oxtails in town. That's a big win. The kitchen is open until 2:00 a.m. Go!
