Dr Lori and her staff were great, they help me through a hard time with the lost of my wife .
It made the process of having my wife cremated with no stress ,she treated my like family.I would highly recommend Loris Funeral Service for anyone who has a lost.

After the recent passing of my father, I reached out to Lori after reading their excellent reviews. She made the entire process as seamless and painless as possible. She made sure I got everything signed that was required for the state to move the process along and then took over everything else. She even took special requests for locks of hair, separate urns, etc. All was done efficiently with compassion and professionalism. I cannot recommend this business, and Lori, more highly.

When my fiance passes away as most we are never ready. My first call was to Lori's Funeral Home and Cremation . I was in total disbelief of what just happen and the chaos I was in , then I heard her voice , the calmness , the care, so soothing and loving , understanding . The time she took to be patient , she listen to my questions and answered them to the best of her capacity . Lori was and is amazing , her staff as well very professional , caring, and they cared . Especially when they came to our home the place of my fiance passing to transport him . They even let me say my last good bye to him . My experience with Lori and her staff were nothing short of amazing. To start I had to call her for services around 1130 pm and again after midnight, and on many other occasions throughout the process. Each time she and her entire staff were attentive, patient, and understanding. The 2 gentlemen who picked up my Mom were also very professional and kind in handling my Mom. Lori and her team did an outstanding job for my mother-in-law's funeral. Everything went smoothly and on time at the wake and the funeral.Our family cemetery was a one-hour drive. Ronald, the limo driver, gave us top-notch service. Lori’s Funeral Home provided EXCEPTIONAL care, concern and compassion in the loss of my brother. Trying to plan an out of state service is not easy but they made it all work out on time! I am glad we entrusted our love one to you.

We had a truly wonderful experience with Lori. She was so kind and gentle over the phone which was something I really appreciated when my mom passed. She was able to answer all of my questions and she took care of everything for us. Mom was cremated in a very timely fashion and placed in a very nice temporary urn in a sealed up cardboard box. It was very comforting to know how well she was taken care of and carefully secured. The price was unbeatable, which was such another important thing for us in our time of loss. Although we hope it will be a long time before we are in need of Lori’s services again, she is certainly going to be the one we call.

I contacted Lori around midnight on a Sunday and was shocked the owner answered the phone. I explained my situation to her and she assured me that everything would be ok. She was so kind. She walked me through everything and she made a horrible situation easy. From picking up my father from the hospital after his passing to me picking up his remains from the funeral home. She explained all the paperwork to me and made sure I understood all of it. She took great care in making sure my father was taken care of with dignity.

Our mother recently passed and Lori's Funeral home conducted the services. They were extremely professional, explained all details of finances and the service completely. I have known this funeral home to be the greatest and most reasonable and accommodating funeral home in the Raleigh area. Services were rendered to meet every need possible. Even when it was difficult to locate a church facility and Pastor to do the euology, Mrs. Lori and her amazing staff stepped up to assist during the service as well. Mrs. Lori did a wonderful job on the eulogy, and she had her staff help as soloist. Mrs. Lori and her staff showed love and compassion beyond measures of what anyone could expect.

I AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY SERVICES. I HAD NO EXPERIENCE WITH CREMATIONS AND THEY WALKED ME THROUGH EACH STEP. I CALLED MANY MANY TIMES AND EACH TIME THEY MADE ME FEEL SPECIAL AND LIKE I COULD CALL BACK AS MANY TIMES AS NEEDED. Lori's Funeral Home buried my mom. I was so distraught during this time, I had mentally checked out. I called Lori one day before my mom died. We were in Woodbridge, Va, but grew up in NC. My mom died at 12:21 at 5:30 she was in NC at the funeral home. Her people were at the hospital within an hour after I called her to pick up my mom. I didn't do anything, Lori and staff took care of all my needs without me engaging very much. My mom looked exactly as everyone remembered her, and she was very sickly. I can't thank Lori's funeral home enough for being professionals from start to finish. Her resources for all your needs is at her fingertips, you won't have to stress about anything. She is honest and has a heart bigger than the state of NC. She gave my mom a Louisiana Style funeral. It was awesome. Thanks again.

This was my first time dealing with a situation like this. By me being the only child everything fell on me to complete which is one of the hardest things to do. Meaning how can you grieve and focus on handling business? Mrs. Lori was wonderful I felt very comfortable talking with her on the phone.
