The Station at Person Street

Went on a Saturday afternoon. It wasn't very busy. Ordered a Texas Smash (burger). It was right up my alley with pork belly, BBQ sauce, onions, and melted cheese. I went out on a limb and ordered brussel sprouts as the side. They were AMAZING! My company both had smash burgers with potato wedges. They reported that their meals were tasty! Our waiter was not only friendly, accurate, and efficient but took the time to inform us about specials the restaurant had on other days of the week. We will be returning.

The vibe: very cool vibe! Lots of outdoor seating with outside heating.

Cons:
Bathrooms could use a redo. 2 stalls in the women's and one was out of order.

It was cold 🥶 inside. Because servers had to go outside to serve the patio the door was opened every 2 secs.

Atmosphere and vibe were off the charts excellent. My server Izzy was totally terrific and friendly. She was a pretty busy bee and made sure everyone had what they needed. The amazing sunset from my best seat on the patio view made it even better

The food is great! The service is wonderful. Everyone was so nice. I am a new mom and this was my first time out without my son. My fiancé and I enjoyed ourselves here and felt really welcome. Great place to visit for a good burger!!

We had a wonderful first time here! Although cold outside, we got an outside table next to a fire and heater. Ambiance and service was perfect! The food was great. I had the chicken sandwich and my husband did the catfish, and both were delicious. The kids even found something to make them happy. Bijan had great menu advice and was such a wonderful server! We will definitely be back.

First time to this eatery and bar ; good was so delicious , I had fried green tomatoes and catfish sandwich and oh my whoever is cooking those two items is doing an awesome job. Good came out hot, ambiance of place was so relaxing and homey. I definitely recommend this place, and be careful when you eat that catfish sandwich because unusual sounds may come out of your mouth and it may sound a lot like the restaurant scene when Harry met Sally and yes that sandwich is that darn good!!!

The Station was already one of our favorite downtown spots, but today they really went above and beyond. Long story short, we had friends visiting from out of town with their dogs, and so we needed to find a dog-friendly spot for Sunday brunch.

The manager and staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. They turned on multiple propane heaters and even lit a fireplace even though we were basically the only diners on the outdoor patio. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

And the food and drinks, which never disappoint anyway, were exceptionally good. My breakfast biscuit and grits were amazing, and my wife’s breakfast wrap was outstanding as well. And the beer and Bloody Marys were on point.

Kudos to The Station! We love you even more now.

The Station is back! So good to see it active and alive after the Covid dip. Good food and great atmosphere. Elaina was a great waitress. Managers are out and about checking on tables . We love the grilled chicken and seasonal veggies.

The food and the staff were amazing!! Matt has been our server for over a year and and we absolutely love him!! Burger nights are our favorite night of the week!!

Had lunch on the covered patio after St. Patrick's Day parade. Enjoyed Shrimp Po Boy with Mac n Cheese, and Catfish Sandwich with delightul salad. Food was perfectly cooked with good flavor, and generous portions, service was pleasant and helpful, and atmosphere was perfect for a spring day! Definitely can recommend.

Yummy food, tasty drinks, good atmosphere. Occasionally hard to get service but there are lots of people and few staff sometimes so understandable. The Station burger is always good, never been disappointed. All of the mules are great, my personal favorite being the Durham mule with blueberries. I love this place, and my friends and I are regulars. If you sit outside during hotter months, you are basically downtown so be prepared for company in the form of our least favorite bugs. No fault of the restaurant's, it's unavoidable. Otherwise great reliable choice for brews and food with a group.

Update 04/23: they've changed their menu! There are a few new dishes alongside some old favorites. I tried the chicken and waffles for something new. They were very sweet, but delicious! I'm excited to come back and try the other new things. Staffing also seems to be better now.

Quite authentic and stylish place with marvelous kitchen. I ate the Nashville fishburger which was indeed great.

Elaina took great care of us. We love the food and the vibe. Best burgers and steak frites. One of the best patios in Raleigh. Highly recommend

My husband and I (Buffalo Bills) blindly found this diamond in a ruff eatery and are we so glad we did……the reviews I read on the card ride over were spot on!
I cannot say enough about how genuine the staff are and how much we felt welcomed and appreciated for choosing to dine with them…..
Bree was our server and she is such a sweetheart-even after having the worst fire-pit accident she kept her professionalism and free spirit of all around kindness intact-what a DIVA!!!! Her manager Ally who is phenomenal by the way and suggested to try the shrimp “grilled” and kept my husband and I warm and toasty in the beautifully appointed cozy outdoor seating was truly what all of Dream our bosses were back in college when we had to work some of the craziest gigs for cash…..well she makes it look like your big girl dream job and does it effortlessly…..
The food was bomb-atmosphere incredible and location location location-don’t think I need to say anymore…..see you ladies again real soon……

Elaina was the BEST waitress. She made the experience so pleasant. She effortlessly (and gracefully) managed our table with seven young children!

Great bar food. I had chicken tenders and potato wedges. The chicken had great flavor and was cooked perfectly. The potato wedges are a meal in themselves but probably the best I’ve had. Crispy on the outside and just right on the inside. Also nice place to hang out on a nice day because you can sit outside with a dog.

LUNCH TIME!. They make a great burger and wings. I ate outside , the weather was good and the game was on. Service was great and the food was great. Definently will be back, this time with some friends.

My server Elaina was the high light of my experience at the station. She was very attentive and kind when she interacted with me. She accommodated all of my needs in a timely manner and made the atmosphere enjoyable. I recommend she move up in the ranks as a manager. Thank you.

First time I was trying this place. Our server/bartender, Lidia, was amazing and professional. I loved this place and will definitely go back for more beer and food.

We came for Saturday morning late breakfast. There were 7 of us and the service was top notch!! Try the chicken and waffles with blueberries! Will absolutely be back what a wonderful spot to enjoy an outside patio! Dog and kid friendly. Definitely a new hang out for us.
