This is a beautiful drive, especially with the leaves turning. The road’s narrow, but there are places to pull over along the way to get gorgeous photos. I think more folks are getting wind of it, since we saw more vehicles than a we did last year. Even if it’s a little out of your way, it’s worth the drive. One warning: it’s really easy to miss the turn off Persimmon Road onto Tallulah River Road, so keep your eyes peeled to the left for the turn.

A short 0.8 mile walk along the Coleman River. I was pleasantly surprised how pretty this trail was. I wish it was longer.

Excellent!! One of my favorites in Rabun. Fairly easy, there's a few wet crossings that could take some balancing to avoid getting feet wet. But a beautiful trail that tracks the river for the trails entirety. A few others on the trail today, but not many. Though I'd guess it gets heavy traffic on weekends. Short but worth it.

Great place to hike if in the area. About 1 mile in and out. Trail is by the coleman river all the way with several small cascades. Peaceful hike early in the AM
