Da Chicken Shak & More

Fried food done right. An unassuming place with 4 tables, but plenty of traffic, that lives up to the high rating. I got the Duo Combo for $14, which had perfectly crusted catfish, a few chicken strips, and two sides (the okra was amazing). I'll definitely be going back.

Lightly breaded and tasty. They make the Shak, cocktail and tarter sauce fresh and I enjoyed it all with the chicken and fish duo combo. Bright and clean atmosphere and gator is on the menu.

I was skeptical when I walked in. The place was empty but the staff was very attentive and got me the order. I got the chicken tenders and it was HOT & FRESH. The food was delicious. I will definitely eat here again. The tenders were perfect and tasty. Next time I will try the peach cobbler!

I LOVE the wonderful ppl that work here! Always so helpful and sweet. I order food from here for my job, and they label everything, which I appreciate greatly as I serve the food and it makes everything easier for me. AND they don't hate me for putting in orders that are quite large, unlike many other places around here. 💖

I heard so many good things about it so I finally gave it a try for myself. Everything was made fresh to order. The chicken strips were lightly breaded and tastes like home cooking as did the catfish. Definitely going back to try the gator, gizzards, liver, and shrimp.

Staff know me by name. Been eating there for over 4 years....never have I been displeased with my order. Food is ALWAYS hot and made exactly how I like it. Eat there at least once a week. Definitely recommend this place!!

Great food great quality hot fresh made to order love the Cajun spice everything on there menu is really good fish and chicken strips shrimp I recommend either the Duo combo or Shak trio a little bit of everything there mac and cheese and coleslaw are good too wish they were in a bigger container though

Great place to get a quick bite to eat hot and fresh from chicken to Catfish and don't forget the Peach Cobbler.

Door Dash messed up my order twice from here. The manager, Mr. Hammond, made it right. I will definitely be going back for more good food!

Food is amazingly fresh to order first time there and am a regular now can't go wrong with anything....I suggest the pies for dessert 😋

We ordered the Shak Trio with fries, hush puppies, Mac and cheese. Everything was hot and fresh also not greasy. Good value, the Trio fed 2 people with leftovers. Would definitely come again.

Friendly service, large portions of lightly breaded chicken, tasty sauce and perfectly cooked crinkle cut fries. Can't wait to go back to try the shrimp!

Such good food. Love the trio, offers so much food and for 2 people is well priced. We were so happy when it opened back up! Their shak sauce is to die for! Definitely give them a try!

Service and food at Chicken Shak are top notch. I've never received an incorrect order. Those in a hurry may be advised to order ahead, but even dining in, the food is always worth the short wait. Chicken is always juicy with a great breading, and the catfish strips are the best you'll find. The house sauce is worth coming in for all on its own.
