Uptown Cheapskate Raleigh

I was looking for some boots to wear to the barn dance or some ankle shoes that could go for boots. Online I'm looking at $49 on sale. I come in this store and found the exact color to match my outfit and they were brand new leather name brand Franco Sarto they are beautiful. This is always been my little Hideaway spot

The staff was so kind!! Great selection of clothing. I wanted to try on multiple things, and the staff was accommodating. I also wanted some shoes on display, and staff was quick to help! The only downside is that pricing seems a little high. I mean, 32$ for a used dress. But as long as staff is paid well, I'll visit when there are sales.

Great pieces! More for women than men however definitely a great store. From out of town and was pleased with the service, the cleanliness, and overall quality of products

The people at the desk were really nice and accommodating. Love the pieces i get everytime i go. With a shirt i sold to them, i was able to get some in store credit and donate clothes i was tryna get rid of. Good vibes all around!

I took a little box of clothes, some days after having gone to Plato’s in Cary (big mistake). From the moment I even entered this place, the staff was SO precious and kind to me! I felt like the horrible experience I had at Plato’s was actually redeemed. I brought about 10 items, and they took 6, and offered me so much more compared to the 6$ I got offered at Plato’s for much more valuable items. The staff was so kind they even said how cool my items were. At Plato’s they lied to my face about having items that are “difficult to sell.” I had brought the brands they sell and many of my items looked similar to what they had on their shelves. At Uptown Cheapskate they took about 20 minutes, compared to the 2 hours I waited at Plato’s… the store was stocked with amazing clothes and much better prices. Again, I can’t over emphasize how kind and friendly the staff were! AMAZING!

Excellent experience. Absolute must to visit the shop. I love the concept and appreciate that people want to recycle their clothes. I have never left there disappointed

This place has some of the friendliest and patient employees around. Their honesty and eagerness to answer my questions have me dedicated to stop by for my clothing needs.

A great place to sell your used clothing! There’s a large sign right when you walk in, so there’s no confusion about where to drop your stuff. The staff were very friendly and kind to me, and introduced me to the system patiently. They accepted a very fair amount of my items, and I felt decently compensated. I love the donation system, it really saves time if you’re planning on getting rid of a bunch of clothes! It started to get busy around 11-12, so I would recommend coming in early. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Took a bunch of my clothes that Plato’s Closet didn’t accept and gave me a good price for it. Also liked the option of getting more in store credit, which I used on some gently worn Lululemon!

A really cool place! Found some awesome cat tarot stickers and other stickers and there are so many good items for great prices in there. Will definitely be back to look again at what cool things they carry! Staff are also really awesome and kind. Such a positive experience and such high quality, cool items!!
