Berens Frozen Custard

Such a cute shop! The frozen custard is yummy! The baked treats I’ve tried were also really good. The tables inside are always clean and the outdoor seating is lovely when the weather is nice. The staff are so polite and helpful. I love to stop here to pick up a little treat for myself or my family. I usually get one of their signature concretes.

We have been customers of this establishment for many years both here in Grayson and at their old location. It has been worth it! They have been voted best in Gwinnett for many years and for good reason! I personally love the extremely smooth texture of the custard, while my wife loves the flavor of the concrete that they call a grasshopper! We always have to take home a few pints of various flavors of custard! If you’ve never stopped by, add it to your list of things to try. You won’t regret it!

I have been a long time customer!!! The ice cream is ALWAYS good, the staff is ALWAYS pleasant, and just the overall experience is one that keeps me coming back for more. I always see the owner of the shop and he is sooooo nice and is always smiling. My favorite is the Brown Hot Fudge Sundae minus the whip cream. That sundae is probably responsible for these 30 pounds I’ve gained. Oh well, 🤷🏾‍♀You only live once 😊😊.

For the negative reviews…your issue could’ve easily been addressed with the staff or the owner. He is very personable and I’m sure he doesn’t bite 🤣.

Beren’s Frozen Custard is absolutely amazing! I had the brownie concrete and I enjoyed it so much. The place was clean and Mark was awesome!

The best place east of Atlanta to get ice cream or “custard”. Everything here is so good it takes all I have to not stop each time I pass by. I usually get the strawberry milkshake and it is very rich and creamy. The brownie sundae satisfies my chocolate fix when necessary.

We love it it's very smooth. We love the Sundays or plain frozen custard.The spoons change color when they get cold. Cool!

The place was hopping! Lots of people enjoying their dessert inside and outside under the umbrellas on the beach chairs. The workers were busily filling orders. Seemed very organized and well run.
I was also retty impressed with the custard. It's rich, creamy very tasty. I think I like it better than ice cream. Might have to return for more research...

Brought my family in for the first time. Chloe was very helpful in explaining how the menu works and the custard was delicious! Chipotle chocolate was the flavor of the day. We picked up a flavor calendar and we will be back!

We love beren’s. Since we tried it about 6 months ago, it has become our families weekly treat. The girls who run things on Fridays are always sweet and welcoming…and the custard is AMAZING!

Love this neighborhood spot! There's a monthly calendar of daily flavors featured at the location, along with the always-available flavors of chocolate and vanilla. I like the outside space with tables, chairs and even a dog bowl, making it a fun and welcoming destination for the whole family. The custard is rich and creamy but never too sweet (unless you load it up with toppings!).
It's a great place to grab a treat to enjoy at home or to escape to from home for a yummy snack. It's also a perfect weekend (or even week night) family hang!
They'll even give your fur baby a pup cup, which means the whole family, both two- and four- legged, will be Berens fans soon enough!

They have moved for the 3rd time, however this location is by far the best yet. The staff is very friendly, the custard is so good, it’s the closest I’ll get to the custard shops in Milwaukee and Greenbay... basically Wisconsin. I LOVE smooth creamy frozen custard. I love the concretes as well. But I’m totally satisfied with a cup of vanilla any given day.

I haven't had frozen custard since i left Milwaukee back in the early 80's.. So when we saw this place, I had to try it. And let me tell you this....you need to try it. It was fantastic!!!

Great thick smooth custard. Family enjoys this place very much. Would appreciate the tables and chairs outside & inside to be cleaned more frequently as they can sometimes be a little sticky with ice cream spilled or dripped by others throughout the day.

Great ice cream experience. Found the place voted # 1 ice cream shop in Metro Atlanta in AJC June 2020. Decided randomly to travel across the city to taste it on our day off. Randomly met the owner, he was informative and nice. Great atmosphere GREAT tasting custard ice cream. Pricing is competitive. I would highly recommend to everyone to visit.

Delicious! Great place with a good selection of refreshing treats! Adults enjoyed the rich frozen custard, an impressive list to choose from… and the kids had a refreshing snow cone, yum!

This place has some of the best custard. Especially their pie custards during the holidays!

The people working there are friendly and very efficient. There is ample seating inside and outside. The custard was amazing. If it wasn't the BEST I ever had, it was only second best to somewhere I had custard up north. I just happened to be going through Grayson on my way back from Madison. I don't live particularly close by, but I will make a trip back over to Grayson just to go back to Beren's for more custard.

We were so happy when Berens Frozen Custard decided to move to downtown Grayson, to the Railyard. The custard is amazing, and they have a varied menu, snowballs and some sweets have been added. They have won awards as best custard. With seating inside and outside, it is a great place to visit. We are within walking distance, but added parking has been added to the area. Check out the website - every day is a flavor of the day. Custard and novelty cookie bars are available in the freezer.
Definitely a favorite of ours.
