Absolute gem!! It would be enough that they have delicious specialty coffees and treats served with gracious courtesy in a wonderfully ambient setting. Round tables with some chairs and sofa seating provide multiple places to relax while enjoying your beverage and listening to soft jazz. There is also a food menu with delicious options and the garlic flower bread is to die for.
But what really makes Cafe Rothem unique is the astounding collection of books and vinyl records that line the walls floor to ceiling. They play records upon request. I’ve never seen anything like it outside of an academic music library. Do yourself a favor and relax here for a while.

Wow! Cafe Rothem is a little slice of magic. I feel lucky to have stumbled upon it with my partner the other day and we decided to come in today and wow it is great! Perfect sandwiches, and expertly crafted coffee and espresso based drinks. I had a cortado that was just delicious and my husband had a mocha that was exactly what you want from a mocha! Not too sweet and excellent espresso flavor! The atmosphere and ambiance is like going back in time to a cherished book/music store with an instant feeling of warmth and welcome. And the service is wonderful. The gentleman behind the counter was so kind and helpful in picking out our drinks and such a warm person in general. Needless to say, I highly recommend you check this place out!

It is a hidden gem. The coffee and tea were tasted really good. It has a nice 90s retro interior, which made me feel comfortable. The server was very friendly and didn't kick us out even after the closing hours. It is perfect for customers who are looking for something unique cafe.

Really cool little coffee shop. Had some great pastries and a nice lunch selection along with excellent coffee and a nice quiet cafe with a cool, living room/library motif. Lots of outlets along the walls and decent WiFi makes it an easy place to get some work done.

You already know — I came for the coffee, which I have little bad to say about. Not amazing, but better than some other spots. The vibe immediately gives “spoken word spot” and the ample stage with piano, mic stands and the likes really stirred my inner Darius & Nina-ChiTown-love-jones! If you get that reference, this place is for you. Come visit! Coffee was tasty, too hot to drink right away and I definitely scalded my mouth taking that first sip. Asked for ice cubes and they were very accommodating. Thousands of vinyl records line the walls and made for a fantastic sip and browse experience. The records aren’t for sale, which is a definitely demerit, lol! I did not try the food so my rating is for menu alone which does not include many hot food items, and I’m a hot food kind of person. Otherwise—if anyone wanna do a slam at this spot, Hit me up!

Café Rothem is such a vibe!

I love stopping here during my trips to Georgia for the Pumpkin Bread and a moment to relax. The whole cafe is like a little library with soothing music and lovely food/snack options. I hear the coffee is absolutely wonderful as well. The lady that's always here is super nice, easily answers all of my questions, and makes the best pumpkin bread I've ever had. Even the bathroom feels cozy! Definitely stop by for some "rest, restoration, and restarting."

What an excellent find! I happened to be in the area and looked up coffee cafe near me on google maps. This place pops up with excellent reviews. As a coffee drinker for 50 years, I wanted to see how good they were. The place is very, very nice and comfortable. It has a great atmosphere and is very clean and well organized. The Americano I ordered was freshly brewed and unlike many coffee shops in Georgia, they served their coffee hot, just the way I like it. Cafe Rothem is definitely on my list of places to come to when I am in the area. It is a really good place to relax and enjoy excellent coffee.

Cute cafe that has very soothing jazz music playing. Their food options are great for people who may not like coffee since they offer boba, smoothies, and juices. The foods that they are offer were delicious and affordable. I went in at 1 pm and it was pretty empty. I do like they have a place where people can perform, and would love to come one day when they have someone preforming. I got the watermelon juice, waffle 호떡, and the garlic cream cheese bread. Highly recommend trying the Korean garlic cream cheese bread, once you do, you will never want to go back to regular garlic bread. The lady that works there was very nice. If you enjoy reading or listening to music, this is a nice place with good ambience. It's a bit retro, kind of a seventies vibe, the old music equipment and old projectors on the shelf. There's a stage with a piano and PA system. It looks like shows are performed there. The coffee was good, I had an Americano. My partner had a hot latte.

Personally, I am particularly fond of their siphon coffee, which not only looks visually stunning but also boasts an exquisite taste. I happened upon Rothem thinking it was a bookstore that had a coffee shop in it. I’m so glad I was wrong, it turned out to be more than that.
This is a little gem hidden inside an ordinary shopping plaza in Duluth.

Cafe Rothem has a distinctive way of brewing their coffee through a Siphon. Highlighted on their wall. Each siphon is actually used at a table enough for four patrons. I’ve heard of pour over, French, but a siphon?
Love the personal touch and care of this brewing method.
I ordered a nitro brew and while I knew ordering a South American coffee would be most likely a Colombian this particular brand Panama is interestingly not like any Colombian I’ve tried and not bitter nor overly fruity.

As a slightly fruity but very smooth coffee I now can attest the fruitier coffee is best as a Nitro brew. I’ve never appreciated a washed or fruity South America mn or African coffee has a hot brew. Love this smoothness and still medium bodied coffee as a Nitro.

The house made ‘blooming pumpkin bread’ was not overwhelming nor underwhelming. Just enough pumpkin taste and not over powered by the cream cheese. My fear was the cream cheese filling would overpower the pumpkin taste.
The hand made waffle like pastry which I’ve never tried was cute and sweet as expected definitely could taste a bit of the brown sugar.

It’s also great that Cafe Rothem uses sustainable sourced coffee and is a part of the local community as it featured local artists in monthly music performances. Love the serene warm atmosphere.

If you are looking for an amazing coffee shop in Duluth,Georgia look no further! The coffee shop is absolutely amazing. They have a great selection of books to read and music. They even have a stage for bands to perform. The Owners are Super friendly and make you feel so Welcome. I really enjoyed a Cappuccino in a real mug and an apple pie pastry. The owner even gave me a sample of a waffle pastry they offer. The Coffee shop is super clean and definitely on my list of coffee shops to visit again in the near future. Great place to bring your laptop to study and work on projects. Lastly I have traveled all the World and the United States. Also I am originally from Dublin, Ireland and Cafe Rothem reminded of some great coffee shops over in Dublin. Cafe Rothem definitely rates five stars and more. Looking forward to returning soon.

It was a blast! Awesome performance by Rothem Jazz Trio tonight! The coffee was great and the atmosphere was also fine. The service was decent. We will visit again when they play again. The performance was almost professional level as in 5 Star hotel lobby. Thank you!

Very eclectic and nice coffee shop. It has more of a fancy atmosphere with the music and the piano. Coffee was good and there are lots of delicious looking snacks and desserts.

This is more of an actual "cafe" with some deserts, baked goods and books all over the place. Coffee takes time, but tastes better than typical Starbucks or Dunkin' where things are manufactured and made fast.

Became one of my favorite hang out places in Atlanta.

Can't say about their pastry since I didn't order them, but the tuna sandwich and sweet potato latte I ordered were really good. You can taste the freshness of the tuna and sweet potato. The lettuce they use was really fresh too! I think this place occasionally holds live music performances!

I stopped in for coffee to take a meeting online and get out of rain. This place is amazing! A hidden gem.
