We purchased a flat roof, southwestern style, home with a transferable roof warranty provided by Green Mountain. When we experienced two small leaks, I contacted them hoping for the best. Thankfully, that is what we received: prompt service with excellent workmanship and at no cost.
Subsequently, we had Green Mountain replace all of our skylights. Again the work was performed on time and without add-on expense; done exactly as per their estimate.
Bottom line, we are totally satisfied with and highly recommend Green Mountain Contractors.

After reviewing five proposals from area businesses, we selected Green Mountain. They replaced our old, awful, leaky roof, finishing on Sept. 1. Three weeks later there was a horrible hail storm. Almanzo, who managed the Sept. job, and the insurance inspector determined the roof needed re-replacing. Almanzo and Green Mountain handled both jobs quickly, professionally. The owner Zachary was very responsive to our needs. We have a beautiful, no leak roof. Their warranties are great, so we know they'll take care of any future problems. I highly, highly recommend!

I would definitely recommend Green Mountain Contractors, Inc., for any of your roofing needs. They reroofed my mother's house five years ago, and it was done quickly and professionally. Recently I called to request that they repair some damaged shingles and also seal some penetrations prior to selling the home. Jolene, the office manager ,was very helpful in sending me information regarding the transferable warranty. And Almanzo, the job supervisor, was absolutely terrific in making sure the job was done correctly and timely. He sent me before and after pictures for the new buyers. We had Green Mountain update our stucco. We are extremely pleased with the result. It is absolutely beautiful and looks stunning. They did a great job cleaning up and protecting our landscaping near the house.

The level of communication, follow-up, scheduling and attention to detail in the work was unparalleled. It was not the least expensive estimate we received but, with roofing, you get what you pay for and their guarantee was the best in the business. It didn't hurt that we received unsolicited and full throated recommendations from several neighbors who wouldn't use anyone else. Put us in that category going forward!

It’s five stars all the way for Green Mountain Contractors! They recently replaced my old spray foam roof with a new TPO roof and they did a great job. There were a number of ways I could go with my roof, and Zach was very helpful in sorting out the options. I had many questions and he was very patient in answering them all! The Green Mountain crew that did the work was amazing. They worked incredibly long and hard every day, and they got the job done much quicker than I expected. They also did a great job cleaning things up at the end of each day and at the end of the job, which was no small task since they had to remove two old roofs. Almanzo oversees the jobs in progress, and he came by every day to see how things were going and to give me an update. Green Mountain has a great team of professionals and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again!

Zach and his crew were professional, friendly and respectful in their approach to the installation process for our new roof. They gave assurance and remained connected with us throughout the process. They also cleaned after each visit. For example, the pressure washing process left dirt deposits on our windows. They cleaned the windows before they left for the day. I would highly recommend them and use Green Mountain Contractors for maintenance and other home repairs!

I interviewed several roofing contractors and was impressed with the owner of Green Mountain Contractors who personally showed up on time and went over the various options for dealing with my flat roof house. Our house, even though it is only 11 years old had a substandard modified bitumen roof. Based on the different scenarios for fixing it, I went with the silicone roofing system offered by GMC. The work was performed by a very dedicated and knowledgeable crew, at the agreed upon price, and has an excellent warranty. The crew arrived on time each day ready for work and at the end of each day left the site clean.
We are very happy we went with Green Mountain and would highly recommend them!

Green mountain contractors were quick and easy to work with. The estimate process was easy and hassle free. Work started on my roof prompt and on the agreed upon date, which was a Monday and was finished on a Thursday afternoon (which was earlier than promised). They kept in contact with me throughout the replacement of the roof to make sure they answered any of my questions. They also coordinated some interior repair of my damaged drywall. this too was fast, easy, and done very well. I would recommend green mountain contractors to anyone looking to get a new roof. They were one of 5 roofers that we had come out and gave estimates. green mountain won us over with their professionalism, price, and work ethic.

I truly can't say enough about them. They replaced my roof about 3 yrs ago, and I discovered a leak above a window that I'd had replaced last year by another company They were skeptical it was a roof issue, but nonetheless were here within an hour on a Monday morning in the rain to recaulk it, which of course wasn't their responsibility. In addition, they've come out each of the past two years to do a complimentary inspection. I am so pleased with their work and so glad I went with them!

Green Mountain was awesome when I needed a new roof. They responded to every inquiry I had to, always followed up, were always polite, very helpful and patient when I made inquiries, and they went out of their way to work with my insurance company directly. Once that was worked out with the insurance company, Green Mountain worked quickly to get the job done and kept me up to date at all times. Highly recommend!

Almanzo came out very quickly and did and inspection and generated a quote for roof replacement. They were very timely in getting the work started and completed on time. Superior service! On time, very pleasant, super quick and extremely tidy! I especially appreciated their professionalism - when my A/C stopped working when they were installing my roof, instead of being dismissive, they took my concern seriously and brought in their electrician to check it out. Even though it was unrelated to the roof installation he had it fixed the same day and I was only charged for his time. Outstanding customer service. They have my highest recommendation!

My experience with Green Mountain Contractors was fantastic start to finish. I was purchasing a home with a 23 year old tar and gravel flat roof in the North Valley with signs of leaks in multiple areas.

I worked with 6 different roofers that all had excellent reviews to get multiple opinions and bids. Green Mountain was able to come out the fastest, got me a bid within 24 hours, and Zach patiently walked me through different options (TPO, Silicone, and repairs to the tar + gravel). We talked through the pros/cons of each material and the cost differences.

From a cost perspective, Green Mountain came in down the middle of the bunch. From a thoughtfulness, responsiveness, timeliness, friendliness, and professionalism perspective, Green Mountain was at the very top.

Green Mountain was extremely communicative throughout the job. He checked in afterwards. His team showed up when they said they would and left the property as clean as they found it.

Because this was for a home I was purchasing, Green Mountain had to run around and coordinate with the seller, the seller's insurance agent, myself, and the seller's agent. He also had to schedule the job with only a couple of days notice, and complete it within 3 days so we could make our closing date.

Green Mountain was able to get it all done without making compromises on quality.

Once I got into the home and inspected the roof, I found some extremely minor areas of concern. Green Mountain came back out promptly to address them.

I am totally impressed with this company. From the roof estimate done by Zachary and the relationship with the Project Manager Almanzo and the work guided by Javier, the foreman on the project, it was well organized. Constant communication let me know when they were coming and they were on time which is always a big plus. They found the electrician that was needed because the electrical had to be to code and the swamp coolers raised up by 8 inches to raise the roof to prevent pooling of water. Everyone was very professional. I was even more impressed when at the end of each work day, tired as they may have been from working in the hot sun, they picked up any trash or material remnants and then blew the whole yard out, front and back. That was really going the extra mile. If I sent an email, I got an immediate response from Almanzo relative to my question. And when I asked to have pictures of my roof taken since I don't go up on the roof, he did that and sent them to me. I have no reservations about recommending this company. They did a complete and thorough job and I was completely satisfied with every aspect and every person I encountered. Great Company--I couldn't be happier!
