I shared my experience with my mother in the ER (which was horrible), but now I want to share about our experience after she was admitted to the hospital. She had to stay 5 days, her Dr was Dr Kissi, the first nurse she had was Aesha and her second nurse during her stay there was Cianna. These folks were extremely helpful and understanding. I truly appreciate how they took care of my mother. I would definitely not recommend the ER, but if you have to have a procedure done and stay in the hospital I can recommend these caregivers.

I hope that no one has to have surgery on their knees. If you do need something like this done Doctor Latimer and all the wonderful suport people at his office and the hospital were amazing. You can go into surgery with the knowledge that you are in knowlegeable and caring hands. Thank God and all of these professionals for a safe and successful experience.

Excellent hospital. Very clean. The staff members very friendly knowledgeable and very professional. I have no complain about anything.

Dr. Mallico , Gretchen and Staff are Wonderful , they provide Information before and after Surgery. One of the best Doctors and Staff that I’ve ever worked with. Dr. Mallico is straight out with you and honest. I would Recommend them to anyone.

My father with accelerated dementia has spent 3 weeks in and out of this hospital. Everyone has been amazing, and I wouldn't consider bringing him anywhere else. A huge thank you to the staff on the 4th floor in cardiac/telemetry and the Smith Vascular wing. Even Ellie at the door is extremely friendly and understanding what the families are going through, and remembers me when I come in. You are incredible, and my father is so lucky to have such amazing people helping us with this. Every day I spend there with you it makes me appreciate you more. Thank you so much

I went to the ER at around 2 AM in the morning with my very first experience of back spasms. The whole entire staff was extremely polite and caring about what I was going through. they took really good care of me and usually you hear horrible things about hospitals I don’t have one horrible thing to say they instantly provided me with relief and steps to take forth after .I’m just very pleased with my treatment .

Salisbury Orthopedic at 810 Mitchell Ave is absolutely terrific. I have had many appointments at this office numerous times and numerous surgeries at hospital the past six months. Each visit has been on time and informative. Both places are extraordinary in what they do for Rowan County.
Dr. Lichstein , P.A. Cianci and entire staff are polite and very knowledgeable. Thank You

Everyone was very pleasant, demonstrated quality care and compassion while insuring my needs were met! It was a remarkable experience, Dr Newman was fantastic in performing my surgery and making me feel safe in his care. OP surgery staff was excellent!

A review seems simple when your ask to write one But I jumped at the chance to thank Salisbury Novant Hospital an all that they stand for Staff team crew WHATS YOUR REMARKABLE? I was rushed to the ED with urgent needs and almost dead requiring 7 pints of Blood, platelets plasma BP was 70/30 I’m a free bleeder but their Special forces sprung into action their know how an team work worked on me for hours bringing me back to life with hands that knew exactly what to do… I know for a fact that the Specialist Surgeons Doctors only expects when they step in they can see How Remarkable their staff an equipment are .. I had an operation recently and was very impressed with the quality of the staff. They were knowledgeable, personable, and caring and made me feel relaxed in preparation for my upcoming procedure.

I was also impressed with the condition and cleanliness of the facility. It was clearly evident that the personnel responsible for the facility took a lot of pride in their work.

I brought in a 81 year old friend to the ER, and the ER was crazy busy. She waited in the hallway for 27 hours and was never seen by a doctor or PA. So, we gave up and left. I finally got in touch with the President of the Hospital and he is filing a grievance against the ER doctor on my friends behalf. Novant Health Rowan Medical Center is an awesome hospital!! The ER doctors are contracted from another company, and come to find out, that doctor was a big fat liar! Sometimes bad things happen, but if you'll talk to the right person you can get good results!!!

I just got out of the hospital after being there for a week. Yes, you may have to wait a little bit before you're seen in the ER, but that's to be expected at any big hospital. The one thing they did differently was actually check on people in the lobby waiting to be seen, asking if we needed something to drink, eat, or a warm blanket while we wait.

All, and I mean All, the staff was incredibly nice. I know it's a big part of the nursing staffs job to be kind to their patients, but they sure didn't make it feel like they were faking being nice; every single person I interacted with was incredibly nice and super helpful. Even the housekeeping and the food people were super friendly.

If you want to have a easy time at the hospital, be patient, don't constantly ask for stuff, and definitely do not get short tempered with the nursing staff, or any of the staff. They're already doing so much for so many people, and being short staffed hasn't helped them either. But even being so short staffed, they were on top of everything.

I was incredibly thankful for whoever looked after me and everyone that was there to help me recover. These purple are already busting their butt off as it is, the last thing they need is a patient who's going to make their lives more complicated. Don't forget, these people went to school for a long time to become someone who helps people and take care of them, so you should respect that, and them.

Be kind to the staff, and they'll be kind to you. Don't complain about how you have been waiting for 6 hours waiting to be seen, you're not the only person there to be seen, and I guarantee you there's someone there in a lot worse shape then you are.

We need as many nurses to stay around to help with the sick, especially in these times right now. Don't be the jerk who makes someone's night worse.

Great hospital, greast staff, and overall I was incredibly happy with the "experience" over all.

Wife and I recently delivered our first child here. The staff in labor and delivery have been absolutely incredible. Words can't describe how happy we were with the care we received. From start to finish, everyone was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and willing to go the extra mile.

The private rooms were also pretty nice! If you're thinking about where to have your baby in the Salisbury area, look no further.

With all the multiple patients to enter the ER during this pandemic. I honestly have never met so many kind, caring, informative, and professional nurses and PA like the ones here at this facility. I understand that they have to take extra precautions and new protocol but they do it with ease. Leigh Ann and Amanda in the ER were top notch, they set a higher level of professionalism in their career field. Thank you for your services, you ladies made an emergency hospital visit not as intimidating and smooth. 6/8/2020

I was very upset waiting in the ER on a Friday night. Hours with a daughter in severe pain and throwing up. She had been here two weeks prior for surgery and I was very concerned with what could be wrong. It wasn't the first time I was here for hour after hour. However, once we were taken back the staff worked well together and the doctor had her in a room quickly after tests results were in. While waiting for surgery the nurses were awesome. The OR nurses came in and had her ready for surgery in minutes and were so kind to her. I would say that her experience here was so much more than I thought it was going to be. The nurses were on top of everything, kind, encouraging, and so very gentle. The doctors explained everything so thoroughly, they were kind and knowledgeable. It was obvious the doctors were very skilled.

All three procedures at Novent Heath were as pleasant as could be.

Everyone at this hospital couldn’t have been more knowledgeable & kind. From the front desk, pre-op area - then surgery & afterwards. I never felt alone nor neglected. Amazing team of nurses & my Neurosurgeon & Anesthesiologist were a 10+. Cannot say enough about my care throughout my surgery.

My mom needed medical care and was transported to the Emergency Room. We have received nothing but the best service and care. The ER doctor whose first name is Nick was polite and attentive. Her RN I'm sorry I forgot her name but she was amazing. The admitting doctor, Dr. Harrison was extremely welcoming and informative. Jamie the male attendant that brought her to her room was extremely nice and professional. Lettie her nurse when admitted is doing great!
My mom was a nurse for 45 years and she is extremely happy with your level of care and hospitality.

I am a totally, 100%, satisfied patient. This started with a pre-surgery orientation to give me an overview of what to expect. Following the surgery, I was in the orthopedic ward for 3 days and two nights just as they had predicted. During that time, the nursing care was wonderful. The call bell was always answered within a minute and, once they found out what I needed, the appropriate person would show up promptly. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I don't think anyone ever left the room without asking if there was anything else they could do for me. As if that wasn't enough, the food was good. Who ever heard of good food in a hospital? I will likely have to have the other hip replaced at some point and there is no way I'm going to any hospital other than this one.
