Dr.heather was so great with our senior baby, Darla who is 13 years old & had a softball size cyst removed. She was very helpful & informative, and you can trust her with your fur babies!! The whole team there is amazing as well, they did several follow up calls after the surgery to ensure Darla’s health❤❤❤ thank you Gate City Animal Hospital 🫶🏻.! She is doing great with her recovery

We have been going to Gate City Animal Hospital since 1997. We have entrusted Dr. Andress and Dr. Curran with the care of our dogs over the last 26 years. The whole practice is dedicated to superb customer service, making sure the pet owners feel at ease, and, most importantly, giving the best care to each and every pet. I would never trust my 12 year old lab, Maxwell to anyone else.

We just started taking our new cat to the Gate City Animal Hospital. It came highly recommended by a friend. All of the staff at Gate City seem very friendly and obviously love the 4-legged creatures they service. They are also sensitive to the needs of the pets' "parents". The doctor and technician who did an exam of our cat were very knowledgeable and had cats of their own, so they could appreciate our questions and concerns. They are also very efficient but don't rush through their work.

We moved here a little over a year ago and they have been so incredible with the amount of issues involved with our dog’s health. This morning, we unfortunately had to make the decision to put him to sleep. They were so kind, compassionate, and supportive in our decision. ❤‍🩹 I’m so thankful for the front desk, nurses, doctors and anyone else involved, especially today.

My cat became extremely ill seemingly out of nowhere. Gate City was able to get me in the Tuesday after New Years day and get him on antibiotics and other necessary medication. I've been in a tight spot financially and they helped me find resources to help. They were extremely kind and helpful and truly wanted to help me get my baby feeling better. Its been almost 2 weeks and although he is not back to normal he's gotten so much better. I couldn't thank Gate City and their staff enough for their care and support! Miss Heather who was my cats doctor was truly amazing!!

I would absolutely recommend Gate City Animal Hospital to any pet parent. While we only lived in Greensboro a short time, the staff was always so friendly and sweet towards our cats, Carmella and Penny. When Penny had a health scare after a routine teeth cleaning, they called us to check in on her after her ER visit. Both cats were totally at ease when in their care (as much as a cat at a vet's clinic can be). We'll definitely miss receiving care here.

I brought my cat Salem in for a wellness check the other day due to some moderately abnormal behavior he was showing. I had a very positive experience once I arrived. The woman at the counter was very polite and gave me a welcome folder with plenty of informative pamphlets, papers, and magnets for my fridge. The woman who took me and my cat back was very sweet and made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. She had to have some assistance with Salem and a man came in to help her, he was also very kind and polite too. I wish I knew their names but unfortunately I do not. The doctor, Michael, was very informative about Salem’s results and what I can do to move forward to help him. Overall a very positive experience and I have the full confidence that my cats are in safe and loving hands here.

Wonderful, kind staff that make trips to the vet a much more pleasant experience. I highly recommend Gate City Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a vet with staff who are truly passionate about the pets and people they serve.

Dr. Heather is the best! She is so nice, knowledgeable and addresses all of your concerns. The staff is always very friendly on arrival and loves taking care of all the animals. The place is always so clean and welcoming. My cavapoo loves coming here! She’s a ball of energy and they enjoy it.

I felt welcomed from the first phone call and that only increased upon arrival. The loving environment and dedication to Sprinkles was outstanding. I am humbly thankful for the services we received.

I took my dalmatian pup for his second vet visit here. They were so professional here and most importantly loving with our Terry boy. Will definitely be coming back and recommending. Don't look any further!!! Also, the prices are amazing compared to other vets.

Dr. Heather is fantastic. My Chihuahua was hurting and I had no idea why, but she found the problem and gave us medicine to fix it. I never have a long wait, I feel she gives me plenty of time to address my questions. I trust and appreciate her and the office staff so much.

I've been going to Gate City Animal Hospital for 9 years. They're seen both my dogs & cats over the years. The staff have always been extra nice & truly make you feel like your furbabies are part of their family as well. Unfortunately, I've had to make the decision twice now for 2 of my furbabies to cross the rainbow bridge & the entire staff were very supportive & allowed my family to choose our wishes ahead of time. My 2 furbabies who passed had cancer, so I was given many options of treatments as well as palliative care options. I highly recommend Gate City Animal Hospital in general & the actual doctors are top notch & have wonderful bedside manners for your babies. 🥰

Excellent care, personable staff that care about the babies. We are very particular, and very demanding in some aspects when it comes to our babies. We have had several surgeries completed here, and have had nothing but positive things to say. We have many special needs babies, and they require nonstandard thought processes, and Dr Heather has excelled at finding solutions to longstanding challenges. Highly recommend these folks for your family friends.

Gate City is just fantastic! I've been bringing Zeppelin here since he was 6 weeks old (he's now two and a half). The staff is great, even with difficult animals. They are caring, compassionate, and understanding. Zeppelin gets all his check-ups and grooming done here. We even board him here, too! Zeppelin loves coming here and that alone says a lot!!!

All staff are kind and friendly. The doctors and techs listen patiently and give clear answers to my questions.
