We took the Middle School class with our collie. The class was very helpful! It is important to do the homework and train your dog during the week and after the class has ended. Our dog loved coming to school here!! We learned a great deal and forged a better and deeper bond with our dog.

Working with Paws4ever is a pleasure! Took our rescue to the Adult Manners Class Training class. It was great!!! The instructors Susan and Jenn were great! They helped smooth out the rough edges and we had so much fun! Well worth the time!

This place is great and I had a wonderful experience adopting and keeping in touch afterwards. I saw how close the rating was to exactly 5 stars so I had a look at the few negative reviews and they were hilarious. Of the reviews, a couple had 3 or 4 stars and said absolutely NOTHING bad about it. The couple truly negative reviews were from several years ago about people not answering the phone around the covid pandemic. Basically, I can't find anything truly negative about this place. I wish I could give 6 stars to make up for those fools.

I've taken training classes for all the years I have had dogs (35) Susan at Paws4Ever is the best overall trainer I have had. She is clear, fun and practical in what she teaches .She uses positive evidence based techniques and is able to answer questions in many ways to make sure she is understood. She is patient and generous in offering assistance and clearly loves what she does. She teaches to a variety of levels all at once and her post class e mails are filled with great stuff so I can work throughout the week. I'll be going to P4E for as long as dogs are part of my life!

Paws4ever is a wonderful place and Susan is a great trainer! SO patient and good with puppies and people! IT is such fun in her class. You can tell that she really cares about the puppies and helping people understand HOW to train them. She reminds us that they do not really speak English! ;-) I recommend them to everyone!

Have had nothing but wonderful experiences at Paws4ever. From watching a friend go through the adoption process to working with several of the trainers at the Learning Center with my own rescue pup, I can say that the people at Paws4ever care deeply about their animals and go above and beyond to help both the humans and dogs/cats. My dog London and I loved the intro training course (taught with a small group of dogs, so everyone gets plenty of attention). When London started having some protective behavioral issues recently, Melanie, one of the senior dog training instructors, was just an angel on earth and worked with us one-on-one to figure out exactly what was triggering London and to help us create a strong training plan for him based on his individual needs and environment. I cannot recommend Melanie, the training center, and adoption center enough, they are by far the absolute best in the area and I would recommend them from basic training up through helping with any behavioral issues.

This shelter may be small, but it's mighty! The staff do a good job with coordinating pet visits and walking you through the process for adoption. The process itself is easy-- you find out if you and your potential pet are a good match via visiting them, and once the pet is ready to go and you're ready to take them, you just fill out the paperwork and pay the fee and you're good to go! I'd say my only issue was that my cat had an ear infection when I got her, but that's more of the vet's fault than theirs. The staff check in with you to see how everything is going and to offer possible solutions to any issues. Overall, this place was worth the hour drive, because now I have a new addition to the family!

Paws4Ever is a highly positive training center for all types of dogs and owners. Emphasis is on finding the needs of each dog and helping the owner guide the dog toward success in meeting training challenges. The class we took was well balanced in types of 'commands' to be learned by the owner and dog. We benefited greatly and built a base upon which we can continue to help our pups grow and mature into a happy companion all can enjoy. Thanks to the excellence of Susan Spinks and her fellow trainers -- they are very skilled, patient, kind and helpful.

Staff is friendly and professional. They helped me take home the perfect dog for me and gave me a ton of resources to help make everything go smoothly. I have and would recommend Paws4ever to anyone looking for a sweet new pup.

Great facility and amenities, but the most important thing is the staff. They truly love the animals they care for and are engaged in making sure those animals find a wonderful loving home as well.

We listened to our breeder and signed our dog up for their puppy class. Our main goal was to help with socialization with our puppy. This class is great and Brian was a wonderful teacher. He was very knowledgeable and great with the dogs. Not only did the class focus on socialization but we also learned how to teach basic skills to our dog in a positive way. I was also able to witness several dogs start the class feeling insecure but after two classes they were able to join the pack and enjoy the other dogs. It was really awesome to see the dogs improve in a positive environment. So glad we took this class!

I adopted my cat from Paws4ever 10 years ago and all through the years they have been amazing! They are everywhere in the community and the good they do helping take animals out of the full shelters is so needed. Some animals just need more time to find their forever homes and without a great place like Paws4ever, there would be so many animal that never find that love. Thank you so much for all your hard work!

I have taken 3 training classes with Paws4Ever with my dog starting when he was 9 weeks old and cannot say enough great things!

The class sizes are small so you have plenty of opportunity to receive individual instruction/corrections from the trainers and assistants. You can really tell that they care about training being a positive experience for you and your dog.

You receive emails after each class recapping what was taught with resources to learn more or refresh your memory. That is so helpful as a lot is going on and it’s easy to forget some details!

The classes I’ve taken have been with Susan Spinks and she has been wonderful! She truly cares about you and your dog’s success during class and outside in the real world. She has been available for questions when I have had concerns about my dog’s behavior and great tips on how to correct and help him.

I would recommend Paws4Ever with no hesitation and would definitely check them out for training! They have made a big difference in my and my dogs life!

When we adopted our dog, I knew I wanted a very well behaved companion. We did the puppy school, and my shy scared puppy became much more confident around other dogs. We recently did the middle school and it was great! With the small classes, they can help you work with whatever level your dog is on. 10/10!

We adopted our beloved dog Ginger and also cats: two very cool adult cats and recently kittens Dash and Marty. Staff members are very knowledgable, passionate and completely dedicated to the health and happiness of the animals in their care. Thank you Paws4ever for completing our family!

Wonderful staff! We adopted our puppy a couple weeks ago and couldn't be happier with the whole process. They made every step easy and we couldn't be more in love with our puppy!

I found the Middle School Class taught at Paws4Ever by Susan Spinks to be excellent. The behaviors and skills you want to help create a really nice relationship with your dog are broken down into basic steps that are easy to learn and build on progressively. There's lots of positive feedback for both pets and owners during classes and plenty of individualized attention to help you work with your dog in a way that matches the dog's needs. And you get an email every week reminding you of how to work on each skill taught that week. My dog, who is afraid of many new things, loved being in this class. And, because he needs to continue to be challenged by having new experiences in a safe and positive environment, we're going to be taking this class for a second time!

We cannot recommend Julie enough for training - she is effective, efficient, patient and, most importantly, kind.

In an hourlong private session, she listened to our concerns and desired outcomes, evaluated our dog, demonstrated multiple ways to correct the behavior, then evaluated us. We accomplished so much because of her help and expertise. Cannot recommend her and P4E enough - will be coming back to the group classes!
