Amazing food, chicken was moist and cooked just right mixed great with the taco and cheese. Steak had a slight char to it that really enhanced the taco and gave a great crunch. Queso went very well with the chips.

Our family has been going to Armadillo since the mid-1990s and it's just as good as ever. Family friendly; appeals to all ages. Tacos are flavorful and reasonably priced.

Today I ordered from the catering menu for a friend and her family after she had surgery. She just let me know that everything was delicious. Packaging was great and all items were hot and fresh and ready for pickup on time. Great job Armadillo Grill!

This restaurant is exactly what you expect/want it to be. It is solid Tex-mex food, nothing fancy or over the top, just solid staples. Perfect spot to satisfy a craving

Tried the NC bbq burrito and it was top notch. Also tried a chicken and bean burritos that were equally great. Will definitely return!

i've lived in the area since 2005 and this is still one of my favorite little spots to drop in. it's nothing fancy or anything particularly outstanding, but it is always consistent and i appreciate that. (plus it's a good place to people-watch)

I've been patronizing the 'dillo since 2008 and I've never had a bad experience there. I love how you can get a taco loaded up with fresh tomatoes, onions, peppers, and guac!

Loved the food in college and love it just as much now! Chicken enchiladas are one of my favorites. Relaxed local feel and kind workers have always helped us. Great option to support local businesses and enjoy delicious Tex-mex

We've been going there since the children were tiny, and now they are adults. And we still like to go. The food is fresh and reliable, their house made tortillas are great. Quick, delicious, and affordable.

Neat place with good food. When you enter, you fill out your order on a menu with little golf pencils, turn it into the cashier, food is usually ready in a few minutes unless they're super crowded. Easily customize your food, you check each topping/extra thing individually on your order. Great tacos (with a lot of meat & and toppings) and queso! Nice vibe, not stuffy or fancy, laid back atmosphere. Bar upstairs and additional seating. Seating also on the patio outside. Never disappointed. No wait staff, pick up order at the counter, easy going & great place!

To top it off, they don’t skimp on the fillings! Friendly, unassuming, fast, and always reliable quality. It’s one of our weekly lunch spots.

The queso is some of the best I've had! The chicken is also super tasty, very well cooked and seasoned.

We decided to try this place solely off the reviews we read online. 5 stars it is. Im disabled so it felt extremely welcoming as Brian held the door for me, cleaned an already clean area, assisted me with seating and helped us both with the menu and ordering. It was our first time here and Armadillo Grill is now a favorite of ours. Every bite of each item we tried made the experience better and better! Front window table is perfect for watching the city pass you by. Recommend steak burrito, crispy taco, chips and queso, along with the salsa verde. All are worth the bite!!!

It's a pretty unique place. You fill out a ticket to order your food. It's tasty and filling and they have good margaritas.

My favorite taco place in the world. They literally make each tortilla on the spot, just seconds before putting together your taco. You can really taste the difference.

I ate here almost exclusively for a year. Not too proud about that but I regret nothing.
