We've been traveling for months and have seen most of what Route 66 has to offer. This place is easily in my top three, maybe number one. As far as authenticity, it just doesn't get any better.

The lady who owns it has been running the place, as is, for over 40 years and is so sweet. She loves talking about the town, 66, and the history in general. From the look of it, she hasn't increased her prices in that time, either. The whole family of six got food they loved and filled their bellies for around $20. What?!

If you're traveling the Route, you owe it to yourself to check the place out, and you owe it to the cosmos to make sure this fine lady can keep the doors open for another 40 years!

Oh my gosh!!
What a great place on Route 66, from the fresh, homemade Route 66 cookies, to a delicious homemade cheeseburger and tater tots!

Oh, and yeah, creamy ice cream cones for dessert!
And very cheaply priced!

Do stop in and say hello to the Mom and son who have run this establishment for years! (right across the street from Allen's Co oco Filling Station)

How cool is this place and it's owners! Had a cone for $100.00, bought some Rote 66 Soda, talked about the history of the "Mother Road", and took some cool photos at twilight.

I liked it. It reminded me of time long passed. I had a hamburger with fries. It was inexpensive and good. The lady who ran the place was friendly. I would go back. It was one of the places on the Route 66 passport.

A must stop on a US66 trip to fill your stomach. Diary King is opposite to the historic Conoco's gas station at the Commerce / Main intersection. The cashier lady is extremely friendly. Cash only.

Just got back from Commerce Oklahoma with a stop over at the Dairy King in downtown Commerce on Main and Commerce Streets. If you haven't ate a burger there, then it would be well worth your while to give them a little stop over while on your journey down the Ole Mother Road.

My burger was fantastic, nothing over the top, just a simple double meat cheeseburger and fries at a reasonable price. She takes cash only, no plastic. So head on over to an ATM, grab your cash, and grab a meal over at the Dairy King.

This former Marathon service station has been around since the early days of 66. It's been the Dairy King since the '50s, and not a whole lot has changed. That's a good thing! You can get a burger, some ice cream, they're famous Route 66 cookies... And some excellent storytelling courtesy of the owners. Well worth the stop!

Stopped on the Rt. 66 Tour! Happy to see this is still in business. We had just had lunch, so soft serve ice cream is all we ate, but enjoyed all the memorabilia. Take note: CASH ONLY! One of only a few businesses in the US, where CASH is still KING!!

This is an awesome place to eat. They have really good food. They also have ice cream and lots of flavors of shakes. I love taking kids here after school to get ice cream! The building is historic and one of the very few small town dairy queens left these days.

What a gem! I discovered this wonderful little spot last year, and had the fortune to be in the area again this past November. The owners are extremely friendly, and full of interesting historical tidbits about Route 66 and the Commerce area. Don't miss out on a truly unique opportunity - stop on in for a visit, and you *must* try one of their small batch, homemade Route 66 sugar cookies!

We took pictures, although it was closed due to the fact the owner has been ill!
I hope she gets well soon!
Next time maybe she will be open!
