Loved this place! It has a southern, quirky feel. We parked in the back and entered through a downstairs exit and were seated quickly. If you go on a rainy day, they seat people upstairs in the shop area which feels super special. That area can also be rented out for baby showers, and other events. The upstairs is a shop that has extremely cute and fun products of every kind. They have fridges throughout with cakes, and jams. They have a kitchen section, stationary section, board game section, toy section, jewelry section and so much more! Each product feels hand-picked and thought-out and will make you fall in love or chuckle! The staff is very very conversational and friendly.

The food was really good. Not a lot to choose from because each dish is thoughtfully chosen for the menu and amazing. I'd recommend the breakfast burrito, pork hash, or fried green tomatoes. Their lattes are super yummy too!

Delicious menu items, with a wide variety of Southern-based dishes. Shrimp and grits, fried green tomatoes, pork chop, fried chicken salad, and the fried oysters were perfect. There's a gift shop upstairs with lots of fun and interesting gifts, including jams and jellys, T-shirts, candies of all types, accessories, books, music, jewelry, and lots more. Featured items are all from local North Carolina companies, craftsfolk, and artisans.

Been here twice and loved it both times. I ordered a BLT off menu and the waitress/cook was super accommodating and made it for me anyway. Ended up being amazing and rivaled a Merritt’s Grill BLT. Good food and nice outdoor seating space.

It was our first time dining here tonight. The food and service was amazing. I had the fried flounder with jalapeño tartar sauce, Old Bay French fries, coleslaw, and iced tea. Best food I’ve had in months. Fish tasted fresh, tartar sauce was super flavorful, and the coleslaw and fries were so yummy. Our waitress was super friendly and the decor was cute too! Price was also very reasonable. We will definitely be back.

NOFO @ the Pig is a great Southern diner/restaurant inside an old Piggly Wiggly supermarket. The experience was fabulous. The service was great, the portions were a good size and the atmosphere was zany. What more could you ask for; okay, a unique gift shop just up the stairs!

Our party of four had the Kale Caesar Salad, two orders of the Chicken Salad Plate, and the Grilled Chicken Club. The Kale Caesar was prepared with crisp curly kale, Romaine, house Caesar dressing, aged Parmesan, Asiago, Romano, and croutons. A grilled homemade spinach patty was an add-on to top off the salad.

Two of us enjoyed the Chicken Salad Plate which was accompanied by a choice of two sides. One of us went with fruit and country ham rolls. The other had sweet potato fries and cucumber salad.

Our last choice was the Grilled Chicken Club arrived with Nahunta ham, grilled chicken breast, Applewood smoked bacon, Provolone, sharp cheddar, tomato, greens, and Cajun mayo on toasted Wheatberry bread slices.

We all enjoyed our food and time spent at NOFO and look forward to dining there again. This is one establishment you don't want to miss. We think of NOFO as a destination not to be missed the next time you're in Raleigh, NC. Enjoy!

Great place for brunch! Nice staff, fun atmosphere. The omelette was delicious with fresh ingredients and the grits were some of the best I’ve had. The shop upstairs was fun, with lots of unique gifts and things for the kitchen. I’d definitely recommend checking this place out.

I honestly can’t believe I haven’t been here sooner! It’s a former Piggly Wiggly grocery store turned into a hip restaurant and shop. All the staff is super nice and the vibe is funky and chill. We ordered the pulled pork hash and chicken biscuits and both were awesome! Our server was friendly and she made sure everything was perfect. We also got a Bloody Mary and I can see why it’s so popular. They have a big table in the shop that overlooks the dining room which I intended reserve soon to enjoy a meal with a group of friends. This review is going long but I’d like to mention the shop with all its fun, eclectic items for sale. I highly recommend you go here because I’m sure you will love it.

Great place to eat and meet family and friends. Bright,, happy colors and very welcoming. The shrimp and Grits were delicious. The children had their own circular table and the waitress was very attentive. We will definitely plan to meet here again 😊

This is a staple of the five points, what used to be a grocery store has been turned into the best southern comfort dining in Raleigh. The meatloaf and the shrimp and grits are all incredible and if you are there during breakfast you cant go wrong with the french toast. Friendly staff and a lighthearted atmosphere with a gift shop on the second floor makes this a unique dining experience that you should definitely check out.

We didn't try the cafe, but we did check the shop. It has a lot of fun items. There is a chocolate shop that has incredible goodies! The staff was very polite and helpful when we asked questions.

Even though there was a slight wait, we went upstairs to the gift shop they have which has pretty cute gifts..wish the snow globes were cheaper..Our server was great. The mimosas were wonderful. The french toast and home fries were cooked perfectly. While I wish I had gotten more sausage, it was good. I enjoyed the plate presentation and will consider coming back the next time I visit!

Came here for my birthday with my hubby , his first time my first time for brunch. You know the place is going to be awesome when it comes highly recommended from a local Bartender from a hip brewery. Boy were we in for a treat.
I ordered a elderberry juice filled taquila Bliss and hubby their famous bloody Mary. Both were Devine.
For breakfast I ordered fried green tomato pimento cheese bacon jam eggs Benedict and hubby ordered nofo rancheros. Both of our dishes presented well and tasted amazing. Cafe staff was upbeat and friendly. Space was clean bright and inviting. Can't wait to go back next weekend.

Excellent food with great service. Very cool atmosphere. We were there for lunch on a Saturday. We waited about 15 minutes for a table. The history of the building is interesting, and surprisingly well suited for the current use. Great for shopping too.

Fantastic food, cozy atmosphere, and lovely service! Couldn't ask for a better experience. The shop upstairs has a lot of unique items and is a great place to wander around if you have to wait for a table. If I lived locally, this would be a regular spot for me!

Good food and sweet service inside an eclectic gift shop housed in an old Piggly Wiggly grocery store. They’re not in a hurry here so bring some patience but I can confirm this place is strangely charming and the food is worth a little bit of waiting.

So lovely! Great food and service. Back patio was especially great. Decaf was so so good that I bought myself a pound. Plus, cutest little shop ever.
