I can’t believe the other Google 3& below stars. It.sounds like a completely different Trident ER. Almost like “The Upside Down” An exact opposite of my overall experience.
I had at extremely professional, kind and expedient team.
This Hospital has dramatically improved in the past few years.
My family has had nothing but the best care from Trident Hospital.

Thank you ER people !
Your kindness and hard work is not unnoticed 💫

My Sister-in-law, Geneva Pruitt, was taken to the new Trident Emergency Clinic on Oct 10 because her oxygen level dropped to 79, and she was having shortness of breath. The director, Tresa Owens, took her vitals and immediately directed the other nurses to begin an IV and supplemental oxygen to get her stabilized. We were all very pleased with the professionalism exhibited by everyone and their caring, compassionate & friendly attitudes.
She was later admitted to Trident Hospital and treated for pneumonia.
We are so grateful that your facility is now open in her area and available 24/7 for these kinds of emergencies. When you are 89 years old and live alone, it is very comforting to know that medical professionals are always there!

My experience was amazing! I had an umbilical hernia and I was dying. As soon as I got there, they helped me with my pain and took all the test very quickly to determinate what was origin my pain. They didn’t have a surgeon for that speciality and they found DR. MURPHY in less than an hour. They treaded me like a human being with respect and always asking if I was okay and comfortable. Since I got there until my surgery was 3 hours or less. I didn’t have to wait at all. I was hospitalized for 3 days, and honestly they have the best nurses, I can say better than MUSC. I gave birth my baby in MUSC and I’d say Trident nurses treaded me better than MUSC. So 5 stars for them. I couldn’t be happier.

We waited for 3 hours and I was impatient because I was in pain. I even snapped on the student (didn't realize it was a teaching hospital until someone told me as we were leaving). I couldn't sit down and the student (didn't know she was a student) was nice but said I only have to sit down for a wee bit. I snapped and basically cried saying it hurts to sit. She is new so she will learn bedside manners of people who are in excruciating pain. I did apologize to her after I saw her again (I still hadn't been told it was a teaching school by this point, I just felt guilty because I was in pain and she is there to help us all get better).
I do think y'all need to communicate better, because after me telling multiple people it hurt to sit, I needed a bed, when they brought me back they tried to put me in a chair, to which I broke down (this was after waiting 2 hours in the waiting room) and frustratingly whined said I need a bed and she found me one. But there should be better communication from your department heads because I shouldn't have to whine and cry to get a BED.
I also overheard that this was the busiest Monday they've had, which helped me gain my patience back because I was there for a little over 3 hours, but I am thankful they helped me and gave me information as to why I'm having back pain. So thank you for being open, seeing us as quick as possible on a very busy day and getting us out of there ASAP.
(FTR, I did apologize to the student/girl/nurse for having a snappy tone, I was just in pain and wasn't as pleasant as I would have been)

We are from Nashville and have spent many times at the Vanderbilt ER. This hospital is on par with anything we have experienced there! We felt like family! They helped my daughter promptly and with amazing care. If we could take everyone we interacted with back home to Tennessee to be our primary care we would! Excellent service! They have chosen the right profession and are excelling! This ER should be the standard!

Dr. Leal and the nursing staff are awesome! I came in with a hand injury with rapid reaction to bacteria infection (within 3 hours of injury). His quick treatment saved me from a potentially serious condition. Thank you so much. Excellent treatment and care!

As a retired RN who worked years in a Pittsburgh trauma center, I was truly impressed by the efficiency of the ED. As busy as they were and as silly as the demands of some of the patients were, the staff never once lost their professionalism or composure or kindness. I wouldn't hesitate to return to the Trident ER if their care were ever needed.

To all of you in the Emergency Department. Thank you.

When I arrived on February 3rd half of my face was not workin and I was terrified. As the staff leapt to action and as I was surrounded by a number of doctors, nurses, and assistants I couldn’t help but feel reassured by their care and concern. Every person I interacted with over my 8 hour visit was kind, caring and compassionate. None were more caring than my nurse Meghan. She provided me with excellent care during a very busy time in the ER while also being positive, upbeat, and compassionate. Thank you Meghan for keeping me calm and cool during this ordeal. We are 18 days from my diagnoses of Bell’s Palsy and I have already regained some movement in my face. At the time I felt discouraged and panicked but every staff member I interacted with kept me calm and positive. Thank you all for the care you provide your patients each day.

I arrived at the ER at about 1am... in severe heart failure and 3 serious falls sll in the same 12 hours. I don't remember anything after lunch on monday. My husband says the staff was fantastic. I had a cardiac echo done, a CT scsn of my head, chest and abdomen, and MRI of my brain and eventually one of my neck plus a ardiac catheter. In the evening I was moved to 423 on the neurology ward, untl the afternoon of the 19 th, when I went home. With a wearable defibrillator to shock my heart if it stops or gets erratic.

Just wanted to take a moment and express how much of a great experience I had here over the past few days. If it wasent for the responsive quick decision making by Dr. Hadley I would not be alive right now. The nursing staff were so polite and made sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. Hands down the best hospital experience.

This was the best emergency room experience I have ever had. I was immediately seen, tested and treated. Everyone on staff was professional and very kind. I have not been to the ER in a very long time from the stigma of the expected experience. I could not ask for more from the team here and it was done on New Year’s Day.

I spend most of the night in the ER with my GF who was having several seizures. The doctors & the nurses were very kind and respectful to her and I. The nurses were very helpful on answering any of my questions that I had and kept me up-to-date on what’s going on.

My husband had a brain bleed. Everyone of the staff took excellent care of him. The emergency room staff made sure he got the care he needed. I want to thank each and everyone of them including the janitoral and all the staff that do not get the recognition they deserve.

I have been here twice before, both times the staff was very courteous and kind. I'm grateful to have been treated here. I see a lot of people complain, but for how busy this place seems to always be I feel that the service has been polite and the nurses prompt, if not a little blunt and to the point.

The Emergency team at Trident is helpful and kind. It's an emergency room, I know it may be a wait, but the nurses and doctors check in often and care.
