The sites are conveniently located next to the golf course, walking trails and tennis courts. There’s a super clean laundry area. The camp host and Outdoor Rec area folks are super helpful! We are enjoying our stay!

This was an amazing find just outside of Charleston for $23/night. The staff was very friendly at check in and one of the camp hosts stopped by to make sure we were set. The spot we had (#11) was a pull through on an extremely long and wide concrete pad with FHU. The bathrooms were neat and clean and we saw the camp hosts cutting firewood and doing other maintenance. I would say the only drawback is the proximity to the commercial airport with its early morning and late night flights. You don't get a spot # when making a reservation. They call you the day of to get your arrival time and assign a spot.

The last ferry ride of the day out to Fort Sumter to see Evening Colors is pretty special.

Shady, spacious sites with concrete pad. Camp host was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend. Military campground, but any veteran can make reservation.

Hello, this is a question for the HOST and NOT a review. I wasn't sure how else to contact someone directly in charge.

My son is currently stationed at Joint base Charleston and enrolled in the NNPTC school. We want to visit him and would like to know if we can camp here while doing so? I am not a VET nor DOD. Just a super proud NAVY DAD! From all the research and photos it looks great, just trying to plan ahead of time-
Or if there is better way to possibly call you or email you?
Thanks!

Great place to stay, a lot of walking trails, bathroom and coin laundry, nice playground for children.

We loved our time here and definitely plan on returning. The base is very pretty and well kept as well as the fantastic campground. Very clean and very friendly people here! We have 2 dogs and even they enjoyed the many long walks. (Lots of nice open, grassy places.) The campsites are a nice size with concrete pads and patios. Really, really loved it!

Loved the peace and quiet amongst the trees. Level cement pads and spacious spots led to sound sleeping and privacy.

Our first time camping at JB Charleston famcamp. The camphosts take pride in taking care of the campground. Our site #50 was on a level concrete pad with FHU, and the wifi was okay for emails and web browsing. Definitely use gate Aviation, it makes it much easier than the main gate. I really appreciate that the recreation building has a climbing wall for only $6.00. Also, a nice disc golf course and regular golf course. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Great RV Park. Well maintained. Retained water after heavy rains, drainage needs improved. Overall great experience.

Beautiful shaded sites, very generous wide sites, and offers pull through s, accommodation or large RVS, like being in a forest.
The staff was very accommodating and very informative. 👏
We enjoy our visit here so much we extended our stay and hope to return.

The base is very Beautiful. The Air Force has the best there is to offer.

Clean and very well maintained. 2 different shower/bathhouse buildings with laundry. Newer laundry room has 3 washers and 3 dryers and older laundry has 2 washers and 2 dryers. 1.25 per load for wash and 1.25 per load to dry. Camp host are always nice and available. Playground, tennis courts, and volleyball court right beside campground. It does get loud when morning and afternoon music plays because speaker system is super close...

By far the cleanest facility I have ever seen. Front desk, on-site guest hosts, campers are all AWESOMENESS. As a novice driver coordinating transport of critters from our rescues in-home fosters to their forever zoos it has been GREAT! Our neighbors, Paul and Nancy bought, donated AND installed new head lamps to keep The Bun-Beast in tip-top safety. "Shio" was loved by all. Cannot say enough great things about EVERYONE and EVERYTHING there. Heck, my shower at home is not as clean as theirs. Lol

Very nice and clean facility! Camp hosts are great, Bob has gone out of his way to help my wife with our propane tanks while I was away working...much appreciated.

We stayed at Charleston AFB rv park and we honestly can't say enough good things about the park. The staff were very accommodating. Their grounds are very well kept. You can go bicycling, disc throwing, golfing, sporting rentals, as well as site seeing the stationery aircraft and much more! We give it a five star!

We’ve only been here a day, but I can flat tell you, this place is really cool. Kaylie in the office and Betsy, our camp host are just incredibly nice and have welcomed us like family. The base is like a city and our tax dollars are being well spent in my opinion. Transportation Air Wing gets everything everywhere to support our military all over the world. You can’t have soldiers if you don’t have supply lines and it starts here. As a family member, I’m honored to be here at this five star campground.

Nice wooded park with concrete parking pads and relatively new electric and water hookup stations. These stations have a light in the top of them which makes it so nice to get your rig up and going if you arrive after dark. The restroom by our site was nice and also clean. It looks relatively new also. We also enjoyed the updated commissary and exchange at this base.

Great place, I was travelling with my daughter and her husband, US Army veteran. The only reason we could camp there. You must be retired, active duty or on full disability to use this facility. The Airmen and women were very professional and helpful. The campground was clean, well kept. Bathhouses and laundry were well kept. I would love to go back, but alas I cannot.

The Foster Creek Campground is a really nice campground. We have returned here every year for many years. Kim is the manager and Doc is the camp host!! Kim is organized & will not only listen but does whatever she can to help. She could do better if she was completely in charge. She handles much more than her Navy boss knows about. She is restricted by her Navy boss. But most of all, the camp host is amazing & puts up with a lot from the campers but someone complained about him. He ALWAYS has a nice Foster Creek shirt on & ALWAYS is clean shaven. He's the best dressed camp host I've seen. He is definitely one of the friendliest, professional hosts we've ever known. I sure hope they both are appreciated more.

One of the three best parks I have stayed at. Great sites concrete pads and near new connections. Easy access, great support staff. Host was friendly and knowledgeable. Adjacent basketball, tennis and golf course. Enjoy!
