Prices are great! The young man that helped us (we know very little about wines) was super helpful! After just a few moments in the store it became clear each bottle they stock was carefully curated for quality and value for cost. The store set-up is clean, sleek, and accessible :)

The only wine store you need. Unbeatable prices and a great selection. You can get 4 bottles here for the price of 1 at most other stores. If they don't carry your favorite wine, they will order it in. They just ordered me 2 bottles of Mercury Head for less than you can get it direct from Orin Swift.

Need help, ask for Nate. He's extremely nice and goes above and beyond.

W O W ! What an amazing experience!

I placed an online order and well, you know technology! I hadn’t heard back and likely the email went to spam. When I reached out directly, the communication was super prompt and off I went to collect my goodies.

When I entered the store, Nate greeted me with my order and a complimentary bottle because of the mixup. He even took everything to my car!

I will absolutely be back! I haven’t even tried my wine yet! Amazing customer service that is above and beyond! Thank you for exceeding my expectations!

Fantastic place to purchase high quality wine! Josh and the rest of the staff has always been so helpful suggesting wines that suit our tastes. The prices are excellent and the inventory changes at a good rate to bring in new product. The tasting bar is definitely a plus! I highly recommend this store to anyone!

Excellent selection of wines at very reasonable prices. The wines available for tasting change frequently, so there is always something available to enjoy. The staff is always friendly and very helpful.

If you've never been to one of these stores, highly recommend as a weekend excursion. We put 20$ on a tasting card and by 11$ of 1oz pours between two people we were having a blast. Excellent wine selection of local bottles. Fun brunch date too.the staff were welcoming and helpful too.

I walked into the winestore for the first time today because I was in the mood to splurge and have a sophisticated wine buying experience. Instead, I met Jack (who definitely needs a raise and works so hard) who was able to help me find a bottle of white wine to compliment my cheese quesadilla tray from cookout. He also told me that the winestore has the LOWEST PRICES in the state and some of the wine is even the lowest prices in the country. I was mystified that a place with such allure could offer such low prices and incredible service. I highly recommend Jack and the Wine Store to anyone that happens across the area.

My favorite wine store in Raleigh! Extremely super friendly staff. Seriously the best prices. One of my favorites is $19 at Publix and they have it for $14.95. Highly recommend and they have a huge selection to choose from. They always send you off with cute bags and your wine is a present to yourself! Thanks guys!! 😀

I was walking by and saw two words, Wine and Store, I had to stop in.

First impressions are everything and this store has it nailed down! First of all, the floor looked as if it was literally just waxed, the shelves were extremely well organized and the way they strategically arranged their wine couldn't make more sense. I knew exactly where to find the full bodied reds within a matter of seconds.

We were given the lay of the land by the exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly staff. We were also told they had the most reasonable wine prices of anyone out there and after looking around, I can tell you they are absolutely, telling the truth!

After perusing the selection of wine I found two very nice bottles and they couldn't have been more reasonably priced. I am drinking one of them right now and it is an excellent full bodied wine, cheers!!

It is quite apparent they don't just line their shelves with any wine, they line their shelves with high quality wine, no cans, no boxes, just beautiful bottles with corks.

They do have an awesome wine sampling system in place, unfortunately it cannot be used, but when that time comes I will be there.

Great store and excellent business plan that caters to the customer, I will be returning soon.

One day this summer, my wife and I were enjoying the sunflowers at Dorothea Dix Park and wanted a refreshment. She had visited a spot in The Village (formerly known as Cameron Village) with a girlfriend where she was able to sample wines at an incredible price point. Enter The Wine Store!

She and I loved our visit to The Wine Store, located at 417 Woodburn Road in Raleigh. We placed a few dollars on a store card and were able to select samples of reds, whites, and roses for as low as $0.75 a sample. We were able to find some great wines to add to our collection AND some great vino to give as gifts.

Their employees were exceptionally kind, knowledgeable, and gave us some great suggestions. I’m not much of a wine connoisseur so I really appreciated their thoughts on popular brands and unique finds. PLUS, they offer some of the most competitive prices for wines in the state!
I highly recommend checking out the Wine Store next time you're in the Raleigh area.

This place is awesome. We were going to another place that had a pretty long wait, so we decided to walk around the area. We found the winestore by accident and I'm so glad that we did. It's so nice being able to pre pay for the card and just refill your own glass with different amounts of different wines. You don't have to wait for a server to come back, and you can choose as much or as little as you'd like.
It's also pretty well priced. Tastes range from less than a dollar to around $3 and bottles are as cheap as $10.
Anyway, I loved it. I'll be back frequently. You all should go.

Always worth a stop when you’re in the village. They may not have the largest selection, but they’re all tastefully chosen. The tasting system is a great, cheap way of trying out new wines. Everyone I’ve ever brought with me has loved it too.

Great wine, great prices, and great service! I love how easy the store is to navigate and their staff is so friendly and helpful. They've offered some great recommendations when we're looking to try something new. They also have easy online ordering and curbside pickup. Definitely our favorite wine spot in the neighborhood!

Great selection at very good prices. Average bottle seemed to be around $15 and all wines were significantly higher quality than grocery store wines. The staff member was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

What a hidden gem! Prices are competitive to the grocery store. It's an easy and fun shopping experience and the staff is super attentive. They have displays for special occasions ("for your boss") and provide the body & suggested food pairing. I can see myself becoming a regular here!
