Avondale Access Area

Nice small boat ramp, great little park, good spots for bank fishing or putting your boat in. Not a lot of boat trailer parking so it can sometimes fill up. Clean and well kept area.

This access area does not have a playground or a beach anymore that drive to get to this area is a very narrow road almost one lane if you're pulling a trailer

Beautiful place for grilling, fishing, or just a picnic with the family 10/10!

I like Avondale because it isn't the best ramp and it isn't the best dock so not a lot of people use it. I don't need a fancy ramp and a fancy dock to launch my boat...I just need decent parking and no crowd. That's why I like this launch.

Alot of people use the boat ramp but the picnic tables and surrounding area are peaceful amd shady. OPEN THE BATHROOM

Another nice day at the Access. The birthday boy tries out his new kayak. The wind blew him around a bit but he figured out the basics of paddling. He was quite happy and told me about the turtle he saw and the fish that jumped right by him. He wants to bring his fishing rod next time we go and I'm betting he will catch a few. Please remember to go slow when you're in the access. It has blind corners and you don't want to run over anyone. Stay safe!

Nice place to sneak off with a secret lover

Perfect hidden away little launch!public restrooms are surprisingly/ pleasantly clean. Not a ton of truck parking but very very scenic nice grounds.

Ok ramp and dock in a cove with 14 boat docks. Great for kayak fishing.

Great location being short drive from bypass well marked with beautiful view of lake and nice cove but close to main channel it also great place to fish off bank!
