This was my first time fishing at the lake and it was great. Brian was a great guide and fisherman, he taught me and my brothers how to reel in fish. We caught some Red Fish that more than 30 inches long, they were really heavy too.

Nice large lake fun for boating and fishing. Since it is a power plant lake, definitely don't eat your catch.

Great place to spend time to fish. I found a couple of videos about the lake that piked my interest. Playground if you have little ones. Camping spaces are available for over night camping ($10). A lot of places to fish in the park. I went out on the otherside of a cold front. I will return....

Love to kayak at this lake.. Plus met some cool people also.. Met Robert Rodriguez and he owns Hookdrr Lures on Facebook .. He paints lures that catch those red fish..

Been coming here for years, gets packed sometimes but it’s worth it. Kid friendly

Plenty of space to fish, boat and kayak. Cook and hang out. Bring the family. Worth buying the year pass for $135 ask for overnight.

Disabled veterans bring a copy of your ratings percentage. Parking is ample. Paved boat ramp. Several spots for bank fishing. Fish cleaning station with running water.

This lake is fun and relaxing. I like to come here and fish during the week because there's more room to fish

Nice lake with great fishing. We went out with Bones fishing guide service and caught more then out share of big red fish

Relaxing place to be wether you are fishing or just chillin.There is an entrance for a day pass.Me,my wife and my 7 years old son costs $25 to enter.Covered shelter are available for rent as well.
