Beautiful, crunchy trail, paved or trail. Straight to lake bed where it was lowest ever so I got spectacular pictures of the sunset 11/12..

The Walton Ferry Arboretum Is a great place for a walk in Hendersonville. There are several paths to explore the site, including a lovely trail by Old Hickory Lake. We saw a couple of fisherman along the shore the day we visited. There's not a map of the trails but when we wanted to get back to the car we just kept going left and did not get lost. It has trees that are identified so you can see the differences and a pretty little butterfly garden I look forward to seeing come to life.

This place is seriously peaceful and serene! I brought my best friend and we had a very nice walk together. Lots of beautiful trees, plants, and bushes. Many little trails to take that are off the paved walkway. Stunning view of the lake, and great little spot to relax and have peace. Looking forward to exploring here again, soon. ❤

Raw natural place to walk near the water. Location on maps is wrong its actually on walton ferry. Look for a power box and a parking lot near the neighborhood map location.

This is a fun place to visit and walk. When you park and walk down the paved path, you'll end up at a picnic pavilion and view of the lake. There is also an entrance to primitive trails that are kept clear for easy hiking. There are a lot of branches, but the trails are not marked. I have never gotten lost, but it's probably a good idea to come prepared for first-timers. There's a port-a-potty at the entrance.

It's a nice arboretum. I know they could use more help taking of it and the new pollinator garden.

Excellent little park very close to the city but feels like you are out in the woods. Multiple trails follow around the lake and cross several creeks. Lots of private little spots and quiet trails. Excellent location for some casual birding or a picnic.

Actually, I fished the cove in my kayak. I avoid it here on weekends. Too many powerboat people ignore the no wake zone. Nice little trail at the arboretum, but it is loaded with ticks

Lots of shaded paths to explore and wander ☺ perfect to walk the dog now that the weather is warmer and there is a new (at least to me) little peninsula/bridge to walk out on the lake!

Natural area with lots of cut paths through the brush and trees. Nice place to walk, fish, picnic and play. Unfortunately some of our locals think every structure there must be torn down and destroyed. Bird houses, tree signs, butterfly garden signs, poles, picnic tables, etc.
