I have visiting this park throughout my entire life. From going there as a kid when my brother and sister played baseball and softball, to being a football cheerleader myself for a few years, to several birthdays and celebrations which have been held there over the years, this park has been a constant in my nearly 40 years on the earth. As I’m now the mother of a 5 year old girl, i am consistently visiting this place due to her new fall/spring soccer schedule as well as her love of its extensive, updated, but also safe playground that has been growing and evolving since I was a kid and went there myself. There are baseball, football, soccer and also a rec volleyball area and basketball courts, as well as walking trails, a dog park, pavilions and grills which can be rented out for parties or just used if they aren’t occupied. The parking is extensive, there are concessions for food/drinks, as well as public bathrooms which are relatively clean most of the time. With something to interest everyone, what’s not to like?

Beautiful park! It has a wonderful long trail, plenty of picnic spots, a great dog park, and accommodates lots of sports (volleyball, soccer, football, baseball). Oh, and a nice big playground with shelters nearby so perfect for birthday parties. I recommend this a safe park for stopping during road trips with kids, only a couple of minutes from 65.

One of the most beautiful parks in the Nashville area 🙂 I've been going for walks there since I was a teenager.
It's a nice place to get moving-- It's a nice place to chill.
It's spacious enough not to feel crowded even when there's a lot of people.
There are cute critters, and one time, we found a fun leg!

What a great local park! So happy to have it in Goodlettsville. The playground is expansive and kept the kids engaged for hours. I liked that there was an opportunity for nature play in the little creek running alongside it and even in the sand at the volleyball courts. The picnic pavilion was impressive and I can’t wait to come back and explore the historical features.

Really great park with nice paved trail that follows the creek. I was in town for the night and was looking for a safe place to get some exercise. It was perfect!

UPDATE: we explored the park some more and it was absolutely fun. The kids loved the playground. The surrounding scenery is really nice with the trees providing some shade. The are several pavilions to rent, and ball fields to play on. The have a bathroom that is pretty centralized to the pavilions, playground, and ball fields. We will definitely be going back whenever we are in town.

I didn't get a chance to explore the entire park, so my rating may change in the future. I was at the park during the Goodlettsville 4th of July celebration, which was pretty awesome.
But from what I can tell, the park is pretty nice. It has some ball fields to play on, and some open areas to play in. I know it has a playground, but we didn't visit that this time. This park has plenty of room for any activity you can think of. There are pavilions with grills to help. I will definitely be exploring the park more the next time I am in the area.

Well-kept and shady, dog park!
There’s sectioned off areas with in both the large-dog and small-dog parks that offer additional separation.
Benches for the humans and dog-water dispenser for the pups!

One of my favorite places to walk. I love that the trail goes from tree-lined to open throughout the first part of the walk. I love the water flowing beside the trail. I appreciate the options for different distances and that nice hill toward the end. Recently, little gnomes were placed along the way. A cute addition to an already lovely trail!

This is my favorite Dog Park to take my dog to . Owners are usually watching their dogs and picking up poop . 99% of the dogs are friendly . It's clean and has water available when it's not winter. They take care of the grass and cops are normally patrolling. Safe and Clean park in general!!

Best walking trail around! The scenery year round is amazing. There are multiple sports fields as well, picnic and play area, historic center, volleyball, etc. They host lots of local events here. Never disappoints! Be aware that although there is a designated dog park, and plenty of signs up saying no dogs on the walking trail, I have encountered many owners walking large dogs (Rots, pits, and even a shar pei) on the trail. Well behaved but not always leashed. Just be aware if you or a child has had trauma that not every one adheres to the no dogs on the trail policy.

This is a great park, that hosts a local farmer's market, has lots of clean restrooms, a great waking/biking path, a HUGE pavilion that *can* be reserved for parties according to signage, and a new, very well kept, massive playground for the littles with all many of climbing equipment!

We are fortunate that this beautiful, expansive park is not too far from us. Great place to walk, jog, picnic, or enjoy the many sporting events that happen here.

Great park for walking, playing, and gathering/fellowship. We rented shelter 3 for a bday party. Nice location in the park and easy to book online. I would book here again and recommend it.

We have been on the road for 2 days headed up north. This tired family loved the respite this great park had to offer. One of the first days of spring, the birds singing and trees budding was such a delight! We loved the huge creative play ground and wide open spaces. The elder trees were my personal favorite.

This playground has a fun tree theme, lots of space to run and play, swings, and a shaded area for smaller children. There is also a large pavilion full of picnic tables, right beside the playground. Moss-Wright Park is enormous and has many other spaces to explore.
