I recently dined at Top Hog BBQ, and my experience was undeniably positive. The moment we walked in, the inviting aroma of barbecue filled the air, setting the stage for a delightful meal. The food at Top Hog BBQ was simply delicious. I opted for the BBQ pulled pork sandwich, and it exceeded my expectations. The tender, smoky pork paired perfectly with the rich barbecue sauce, making every bite a delight.

The sides were equally impressive. The deviled eggs were a tasty start to the meal, and the baked beans were a flavorful accompaniment. I also couldn't get enough of the cornbread and greens, which added a satisfying Southern touch to the meal.

The service was efficient and friendly, and we were seated promptly. Top Hog BBQ even offered outside seating, providing a relaxed dining experience. The prices were remarkably reasonable, particularly for a barbecue joint. It's a great place for those who want a satisfying meal without breaking the bank.

I was accompanied by friends who also thoroughly enjoyed their meals, and it's easy to see why. Top Hog BBQ strikes the right balance between quality, taste, service, and affordability. My overall sentiment is one of contentment; not excessively ecstatic but definitely satisfied. If you're in the mood for delectable barbecue, Top Hog BBQ is a great choice.

Great prices and super friendly staff. Do not forget cash only. Even though you shouldn’t get the peach cobbler… do it.

Top Hog has some of the BEST catfish in middle Tennessee. We ordered the catfish platter and the hamburger. The catfish filets are cooked to perfection! For the sides, we chose the white beans with onions and chow chow (which were really good) and the collard greens (the greens are really spicy, even for someone who likes spicy) so be prepared if you choose them! We also had an order of onion rings, which have a nice flavor with a thick semi crunchy batter. You can’t go wrong choosing to eat here! A couple of things to note, the prices are very reasonable (especially for the portions you get) they seem to be super busy at lunch and dinner time (could wait 30-40 min for table) and they only accept cash or check, no credit cards! Having said that, it’s worth the wait as well as the cash!

I can't say enough good thins about this place. We are new to the area and can say this place has become a weekly staple for my family. It's very affordable very good food great staff. I'm able to take two whole families (party of 8) we can all eat and be FILLED for under $120

Fantastic BBQ joint. Catfish was some of the best I've ever had, BBQ was wonderful too. Only thing I didn't care for were the baked beans, but most people love them! They do not take card! Staff was very friendly.

Been a few years, but it’s even better than ever. Arrived at 2:00 on a Saturday and the people just kept on piling in. Ribs, deviled eggs, onion rings, hoecakes, and no room for desert. Good thing I don’t live nearby I’d be here every week. My partner had the BBQ plate and rated it a 10. I posted a picture of my pile of bones as my proof of how good it is. Enjoy.

It’s a nice little place, and it’s clean and cozy but fills up quick around lunch and dinner. It’s my first time having genuine southern barbecue, and I will come back again and again. I had the bbq plate, with coleslaw, onion rings, and hoecakes. Everything was delicious. A good portion for $10.95 and the sweet tea was the best I’ve ever had. The coleslaw was fresh and not too sweet, the sweet tea was perfect. The bbq was tender, and the sauce was delicious. The hoecakes were fresh and not too greasy. Right after we sat down at 3:30, a LINE formed at the door so get in when you can. 10/10 will become a regular customer.

Stopped in for lunch during my travels through Gallatin and wow was I so glad I did. I checked the reviews before I went in and they are right on key.
We ordered 2 platters and then split them up. Pulled pork was amazing but the fish was off the hook good!!
The baked beans were so good with the onion and green peppers. The potato salad was also very good. The turnip greens were okay. I did add a little bbq sauce to them and then they were fantastic.
Make sure you get the sweet tea to go along with your meal because it is a fantastic southern sweet tea!
Service was fast and very friendly.
Bring your cash as they do not take cards.

I finally made it to Top Hog, to try out this food that everyone in America brags about! I must say, I was NOT disappointed! The sides were simply delish and had the best flavor! We did have to wait a little bit and there is not a lot of room to be able to spread out. We did feel a bit rushed, because of how many people were standing on top of each other, waiting to be seated or pick up to-go orders. With that being said, there is a REASON why people are piled up everywhere...the food is worth it. Great service with smiles and their barbecue will melt in your mouth!

We had a great treat at our office today for lunch. The food was amazing. Rib meat falls off the bone. Sauce was really good too. Thank You TH!

This was our 2nd visit to the restaurant! The first time I got the ribs and this time I hit the catfish! Very Good! The advertisement, the slogan, the logo doesn’t lie!!! It is the Best! All the ladies are very nice! Very helpful! Talking with Patty and Rhonda was very nice and helpful! We were in town a couple of weeks for work and when we come back we will definitely stop by again!!! Picked up a couple of Top Hog shirts too!!! Ha!!!

We called to be sure they didn’t serve anything with nuts and didn’t use any peanut oil since our son is allergic. We were pleased to know this girl went into the back to check with the cooks and talked to the manager to be sure my son was safe to eat here. We ended up going and eating here and Alex was our server. They provided great service and we were all happy with our food! It was a great portion for the price and all the food had great flavor! We are excited to go back and try new foods! Thank you top hog for the great experience!

Some dang good barbecue with the best sweet tea this side of the Mississippi!the only thing sweeter than the tea was the charming hospitality by the staff. The entire staff was awesome but our experience directly reflects the service from Erica! She made the dining experience that of something quite wonderful. Her southern sweet charm made a lasting impression and was a fitting exit for the short stay here in Gallatin. Thank you for the unforgettable interaction :-)

Top Hog BBQ does not look like much from the outside, however located inside is a friendly and helpful staff with a great selection of food. My dad has been wanting to take us to this restaurant for a while. Today Kim and I were finally able to make it. We arrived around 3:30pm and to our luck there were a few empty tables. We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful waitress, she sat us immediately and took our order. My father had the catfish, Kim and I had the barbeque plate. The food was brought to us with a very reasonable wait, the restaurant was almost full at this time. The food was exceptional and worth a much longer wait. The restaurant has ample seating inside and a number of tables outside in the front under cover. If you go later, be prepared to wait, however it should be worth it. Here is hoping your visit will be as good as ours....

Made another trip to Top Hog with the family. We arrived around 3pm, there were a few tables empty, so we did not have to wait. The service was excellent, and the food was wonderful.

Great place! Everything home made, servers were great and food was outstanding. Very busy at 2:00 on a Thursday. Definitely worth the stop!!!!

Best food in Gallatin. Never had a bad meal here. Restaurant is small and not much seating is my only complaint. Staff is wonderful.

Y'all, we go there for the burgers. I love a good burger & I've not found another to compare to it. Throw in a side of country fries and white beans. Mmmmmm good eatin'.
Remember to take cash, they don't do cards. Be nice to the wait staff, they are running hard.

They have the best Cheeseburgers and Catfish dinner around. The bad thing they only take cash. They aren't open on Sundays or Mondays. The rest of the week they are hopping mad busy!! Don't forget your assortment of homemade desserts.

Me and my wife Charlotte love it I can't get passport and the cheeseburger and she'll hook on the fish she loves her fish and the friendliness this is the best place you're ever going to eat we go there at least once a week
