Nathan J. Hinckley, DDS -Endodontist

I needed a root canal so I was referred to Dr. Nathan Hinckley. He and his team are absolutely wonderful. Chelsea was the first person I first made contact with and she is awesome. Everyone on his team is kind, understanding and so personable. I felt totally at ease, even though I was afraid of getting a root canal.
The amazing part is after the root canal I didn’t need to take any pain medication, not even after the anesthesia wore off and I was really thinking I’d have some pain, but I had absolutely none. Today is the next day and it’s like I never had a root canal. I highly recommend Dr. Hinckley, he really is the best endodonist I’ve ever been too…

Absolutely wonderful endodontist and staff! I was totally relaxed and felt dignified by his treatment from beginning to end. He also handled everything with precision and was very attentive to my comfort levels. Pleasant conversation and atmosphere. At one point I actually got a little sleepy during my root canal near the end, can you believe that! All I had was local anesthesia! I still only have tenderness from the shots and a bit of jaw pain. That's it! Thank you guys!

Dr. Hinckley is amazing. I was very anxious going in. He made me feel very at ease and as comfortable as possible. He was very patient with me and attentive to my needs. If you are a nervous patient he is definitely the one to go to. I am one day post root canal and have no pain at all. I cannot say enough about Dr. Hinckley and his staff. Absoultely wonderful experience from start to finish.

I can't say enough about how incredible Dr Hinckley and his staff were! I was dreading a root canal. They were so caring and professional. He told me what was going on during the root canal and asked how I was doing during the procedure. The office staff was so encouraging and helpful. They answered my call after hours too! I'm so glad I choose Dr Hinckley!

Today I went to consultation with Dr.Nathan J. Hinckley.I have long term complicated situation with 2 tooths what was giving me problem for a while. I was really impressed with his knowledge, confidence and high professionalism torch my situation, and also his fair and nice personality. I felt like he is really care and want to help me to solve a problem I have and give me best advice for my situation. I was very pleased with my visit to him and would recommend him and his office to anybody. I can sense that there working not only grate professionals but also GOOD People who care for others! Phenomenal experience …. from the initial booking with McKenna to the actual root canal with Dr Hinkley who was assisted by Riley. I don’t ordinarily have a lot of dental anxiety but have been in excruciating pain (so am already tender) and had a dentist do an emergency procedure to relieve some of pain which was unfortunately an awful experience that created some trauma. This left me nervous for the actual root canal experience. Nobody wants a root canal. I never want one again AND if you have to, Dr Hinkley and team are phenomenal and will take good care of you. They cares for my emotional state as much as the actual root canal and talked me through each step of the way. Their kindness and expertise are very appreciated.

Root canals are not pleasant but Dr. Hinckley is by far the best when it came to having one done. The staff was polite, brought me in and made me feel comfortable. The office is conveniently located in really nice new buildings. Dr. Hinckley and his staff told me what to expect and made sure I was okay every step of the way. The quality of his work made me feel at ease. He and his staff were fun to be around, great care. They handled everything with my insurance and my co-pay was affordable. Everything was better than I could have expected and such a superior experience.

I can not possibly say enough great things about Dr. Hinckley and his staff. I was in horrible pain and was so nervous about having a root canal (due to an awful past experience), I actually met with my sweet sweet dentist who helped talk me into a root canal rather than pulling my tooth. Dr. Hinckley and his assistant were so kind and compassionate, they made me feel comfortable and at ease right away. During the whole procedure, he was making sure I was comfortable and was also incredibly encouraging. I just had my root canal about 8 hours ago and feel so much better even with the numbing medication worn off. I haven’t even needed ibuprofen (which I was downing for the last few days before the procedure). I also have to say that his secretaries are also extremely sweet and helpful. His whole office is truly a blessing and I could not possibly recommend them enough. If you need a root canal Dr. Hinckley is definitely the way to go.

I was referred to Dr. Hinkley by my regular dentist for a root canal. I can't sing his praises enough! He was very informative about what to expect during and after the procedure, and the procedure itself was surprisingly pain free. He is very caring and yet still professional. His office staff is also amazing, very helpful and friendly! Would definitely recommend.

I was referred to Dr Hinkley for a root canal. Dr Hinkley really took great care of me when I was in bad shape. The practice has a very sophisticated x-ray scan system that was used to create a three dimensional digital model of my dentition, and that model was put to good use in diagnosing and planning my procedure. The work was done well and with admirable efficiency. Moreover, the staff was unfailingly helpful and courteous. I hope to avoid any root canals in the future, but if I need one I will definitely go back to Dr. Hinkley.

I had to have a root canal and was scared to death. My awesome dentist referred me to Dr. Hinckley as being the best in Redding for this procedure. Dr. Hinckley is the most thorough, gentle, caring and considerate dentist I have ever been to. Well, equally as good as my other awesome dentist. I had no pain during or after the procedure. I was given a couple Ibuprofen to take just in case but no pain that day or any days after.

Dr. Hinckley is a talented endodontist and a great guy. His heart is committed to quality care and he really wants what is best for his patients. A very important part of our Redding area oral health care team!

Dr.Hinckley is awesome! I wish he could be my regular dentist also! From start to finish everyone was very nice and made me feel so comfortable. What a great group of people!

Very nice doctor and secretary. He did a good, painless and professional job - root canal for a 16-year old girl. His price was about half that charged in Chico which was a bit closer for us. The drive was well with it.
