Mount Shasta City KOA Holiday

Very nice park. Enough room to maneuver a bigger rig around. Wi-Fi worked well. Pleasant stay - would return if our travels take us through the area again.

Nice Koa, suv camper friendly, in the trees, dog park, hot showers. The laundry didn’t dry very well which was a bummer. Some campers didn’t put out their fire and some let their dogs off leash doing their business and not picking up. It’s a disappointment to see irresponsible campers disrespecting an otherwise nice place to stay off of I5 when traveling.

Very nice! KOA and in a great location. Stayed in the vacation rental, which was nicer than most hotel rooms I've stayed in.
The overall facility isn't as intricate as some of the other KOAs I've stayed in, but they do have a common bathroom, showers, and a small shop.
Playground and pool were well kept. Staff was friendly. Only complaint I had was the bed in the rental was uneven and maintenance never made its way to fix it while we were there.

How to view of the mountain from the KOA campground Mount Shasta that is. And then there was only two RVs there because it's starting to get a little cold but they are open all year round have some extra heaters and you'll be fine have a great day.

A special shout out to the exceptional maintenance staff at Mt. Shasta KOA! Bill and Jordan came to our rescue when we (my wife) unfortunately ran over a large boulder as we made our way to the campsite. They solved the problem by jacking up our car and dragging the boulder with a chain as well as just brute strength. The situation had a happy ending without the need for any car repairs. This was our second visit and we have found this campground to be beautiful as well as having an excellent location. Definitely a 5 ⭐ recommendation!

My Fiancé and I had a wonderful experience at this KOA. We have been traveling for 45 days on our road trip and living out of our 4runner. We had a deluxe tent site and it came equipped with lights that added a nice little touch. The Tent pad is flat which is such a little thing to some, but makes such a big difference in the experience. We had some noisy neighbors that kept us up 2 of the night we were there. I brought it to the front desks attention and was moved into a cabin for the remainder of our stay. It was definitely not necessary but the fact they upgraded us at no cost to us was amazing. It’s 2 minutes away from a delicious coffee place called Yaks. If we’re ever in Mount Shasta again, we will be back.

They were so kind and welcoming. Every single thing was provided with warmth and care. Highly recommend staying here. Incredibly thoughtful. Thank you for taking care of us.

Great park with lots of amenities. When we checked in, I asked if our campsite was shaded and it wasn't so I asked the manager, Tim, if it was possible to get a shaded one and he put us in a great site among the redwoods. Staff was friendly and the town was cute. Drove up Mt. Shasta to the 7000' parking lot and it was beautiful. We'd definitely stay here again.

Thanks so much for hosting my family. We are so excited about visiting all the other KOA locations. This location was very nice. Campsites are not super close together. Showers are free and the ladies in the office are so nice. We will be back.

Absolutely wonderful campground. My husband and I stayed here a week on our vacation/honeymoon. Staff was amazing, bathrooms/showers were always clean, pool was awesome. Did have a few hiccups, but the staff worked hard to get them fixed and keep guests happy. The girl at the front desk was an absolute sweetheart. 10/10 recommend. Great spot to spend a week and explore. We will definitely be back.

Nice RV park. Looks to be kid friendly. A little sketchy if you want to walk into Mount Shasta downtown. Very little sidewalk.

A cozy hidden place with lots of trees. Easy access off the freeway. We stayed one night it was quiet. Friendly staff and spacious campsites.

Friends and family came up for a camping trip for my sons birthday. Hannah and Jordan went above and beyond. Jordan hung our pinata and found us a batting stick! Then when the car battery was dead he had no problem helping us out and getting jumper cables…

Suggestion to owner: store need more tourists items. Only stickers were available and not many. Koa in shingletown had cute camping memory books ect.

Annoyed office doesnt open til 9am closes at 6/7..

I think this might have been my favorite KOA we've stayed in. Front desk was friendly & accommodating. The site was nice.

Nice place. Very clean and staff is great. Swimming pool is cool but refreshing. The campground is in town but tucked away in its own little forest. Nice cabins. Kids had fun playing on the playground and basketball court. Fun place

Beautifully treed campground with pines, oaks and Cypress. Our deluxe cabin was clean and cozy! It was quiet the evening we stayed. Some cabins are grouped closely which is great for family/friend gatherings. Our cabin had bedding, a coffee maker and personal bathroom. The campground has a nice mix of overnighters, seasonal visitors and long term residents. The aspen trees were beginning to change when we were there in late August. So beautiful! Due to COVID-19 the hosts kept the community areas (pool, arcade and playground) closed but they look like they are well-kept areas. Close to the conveniences of Mt Shasta City with the get-away-from-it-all feeling!

Just below the magnificent Mt Shasta, this friendly KOA was a great stay. A short walk or drive to town, so much beauty nearby and the sound of a mountain train in the night! Loved it!
