I had a rear lower molar explode while eating some ice cream. I didn't have dental insurance so I was very concerned. My Wife knew Dr. Pugh from her work and knew that he worked with patients without insurance and allowed them to make payments as long as a decent amount (20-30% - my estimate) down. He fixed the tooth very well and I was amazed when we got the bill. Very very reasonable. My Wife and I went back and had some preventative and clean up work done and again, it was very reasonable.

Dr. Pugh has a wonderful personality and loves to talk while drilling on you. He has an easy going attitude and is always pleasant. His staff is the same way. They know that 99% of the people walking in the door are worried and fearful. That try to set you at ease and for me, it was the best part of the experience.

Keep in mind that since they charge less than everyone else and they take payments with no interest added, they keep their overhead low. The office looks like it was renovated in the 80's and, while its very clean, its very tired and worn. I could care less about that kind of stuff. Its clean and safe and that's what matters.
