Casa Alegre

We have been coming here, WAY TOO OFTEN, over the last month. I’m addicted to the Steak Picado, chips and salsa fajitas, and medium house margarita for $10.99 special. The staff is great and welcoming. I highly recommend this little gem right outside of the main street traffic area.

I think there is some room for improvement but I’m happy to leave a 5 star rating as they have a very unique menu with great flavors. They did not have any lengua today which is something I usually love, but everything we had was tasty and there is tons of space on a beautiful day to sit outside. For our main dish, the Los Molcajetes mariscos it was tasty but I feel the rice and sides were incredibly limited for the size of the dish, would be nice to get more nachos or rice. Will certainly come back for more options on the menu. Particularly excited to try the menudo!

Simply a satisfying experience. Great service, prompt friendly waiter, with a smile. The outside dinning area, where we ate, is tree shaded and quiet (less street noise), as the establishment is a block or so away from the main drag. Inside, the booths give you a feeling of privacy with the padded high back bench seats. Reasonable prices for Louisville too. We both had a combination plate consisting of two chili rellenos (crispy shell) with beans, rice, and Guacamole, served with warm chips and tasty salsa. This was my second visit and I'll return to this restaurant on my next trip to Louisville.

For over a decade, we’ve been gathering here for dinners and family birthday celebrations where you where the sombrero and the staff sings 🎶. Delicious molé, sopa, rellenos, enchiladas and more! Choices of margaritas and friendly staff. Love Casa!

This place is truly a family style Mexican restaurant. Good food and lots of it. Great outside patio and great service. They were hosting a birthday party during our visit but we still got good service and a fun atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Delicious Mexican food available either on their patio or one of several comfortable rooms. Our waiter easily managed our group and was happy to provide separate checks. Lots of convenient parking.

Very authentic and delicious food. Live music. The service is very fast. The staff is very friendly. I recommend this place for a Saturday night dinner for couples or families with children. They have vegetarian and vegan options as well.

Good food and the service was some of the best we have ever had. The food was pretty good, definitely would recommend this place to anyone who loves Mexican food. The parking is kinda tight. You would expect that when it's located downtown Louisville, but all in all a very good place and the prices are dirt cheap.

The only problem with this restaurant is what to order off their huge menu! My husband had lingua, which he was so happy to find in Boulder County, and I had arroz con camirones (rice with shrimp....oh, and sauce, and cheese, and veggies!!). Even though we didn't have room, we topped it off with tres leches cake!

The food is so awesome, they have generous portions, homemade salsa. mmm

Fantastic food, beautiful outdoor seating, and great drinks.

The service and seafood enchiladas were excellent on the outdoor patio. What made this Casa Alegre dining experience so special was the welcomed warm spring day (finally) and the live music of Mad Dog Blues, a rich local treasure.

This is our favorite restaurant that we have been to in the 10 months we have lived in Colorado. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere makes it feel like a small vacation, the staff is dutiful and kind. My margarita was perfection.

Get some REAL Mexican flavors in you! This place has some very tasty and authentic Mexican food. Plus, their happy hour pricing is great! Their entire menu has a bunch of great dishes that I am sure are as tasty as the aguachiles that I had. The service is impeccable and served with a smile.

My wife and I have been very pleased with the food and the service @ Casa Alegre. Fantastic atmosphere. The bar is amazing. We can’t say enough about the restaurant. Also a little secret ground cheese.
