Denver Karate Academy

We love it at DKA. We love it is a family owned business and it is just such a good environment overall. Anyone, any skill set and any age is welcome here and it feels like a family. We are very happy that we signed our son up and will continue to recommend them.

My son has Asberger's Syndrome and Stephanie the Master Instructor has been great with him. DKA has been very good to him. He is now a purple belt. He loves it. Even the sparring classes. Said it the most exercise he gets. He is on a computer alot this is a nice break.

After asking a mom's group on Facebook about suggestions of martial arts classes for kids in the Lakewood area, several people recommended Denver Karate Academy. We decided to give them a try for our 8 year old. We have been very happy. The instructors are great! It is a family owned business that has been around for 20 years, and you can tell they really care about making it a fun and educational experience for the kids. They have done a great job making sure they are following the rules for the pandemic. Our son is loving it and we feel he is in a safe environment. Win-Win.

My daughter absolutely loves karate and has definitely found a home at Denver Karate Academy. It's a family business and everyone is incredibly nice and accommodating. The dojo is very cozy and super close to us, since I live in Lakewood. I am excited to get my other kiddo into lessons as soon as he turns 4!

As a kid, I took martial arts in a couple of different schools. When I first walked through the doors of Denver Karate Academy for my son's first lessons in 2014, little did I know how much DKA would become a part of our lives. This school is a family-friendly place that balances the teachings of martial art principles (discipline, respect, focus, personal growth) with kindness and respect. Years later, my son and I continue our martial arts education together as black belts at Denver Karate Academy. It is truly a great place. My daughter has been training in this dojo for about 3 to 4 years. We were at another place not happy with the training. Ever since we’ve been here the training the attitudes and everything have been excellent. My daughter loves Master Stephanie and says when she gets her black belt she wants to be just like her . I could write a lot of reviews you could read but you have to experience it in person very nice place great people it’s like a family. I recommend this place Highly John Solis and Phenix Solis

My grandson has been going to Denver karate Acadamy for last 4 months. This has been a awesome experience for him. His self esteem has improved as well as self discipline. They are very compassionate and the kids love it!

I joined Denver Karate Academy a year and a half ago with my daughter after she graduated from their after school program. I can't say enough great things about the staff and students in the school. Everyone is welcoming and friendly. I've gone from a 40 year old deskbound IT slug, to the best shape of my life at 42. I've replaced flab with 15lbs of muscle after sweating my tookus off with their purposeful workouts. The instructors, helmed by world champion Master Stefanie Delameter, truly do all they can to develop mind, body and spirit.

This place is awesome mr flowers and his family with staff are always very friendly and curtious we have tried several places before coming here and we love it. Even our little guy feels right at home. This place is great for all ages great pricing and different plans to accommodate your needs i cannot say enough about them. Awesome place to grow with

Amazingly clean! Almost as clean as a sterile labatory. Thats the first thing I noticed when I walked in for the first time. Scott is absolutely amazing with the kids. I highly recommend DKA!!

My teenager first starting taking at Denver Karate Academy and after a few months it looked like so much fun so I joined in! The staff is super kind and inspiring. They are welcoming of students of all types and abilities -- highly recommend!

Our son has been going here for three years and I wouldn’t take him anywhere else. Family oriented environment, friendly, professional, highly trained. We absolutely love coming here and our son has made so much progress thanks to the lovely staff.
