City and Community of Arvada

Had a wonderful experience getting a passport! It was so fast and the gentleman taking care of us was very helpful! I do feel bad for him working in the most horrible light that did make filling anything out very difficult! Other than that, I will tell everyone to go to Arvada for passports!

The city of Arvada has a very rich and diverse history as it was the first place that gold was discovered in Colorado by Lewis Ralston in 1850 and is commemorated by Gold Strike park and bridge near the area of 62nd and Sheridan. Since this city is in the top ten most popular places to live in the metro area it has received many awards including the prestigious and highly coveted " bicycle friendly community " awarded by the League of American Bicyclists. I have traveled to many different sections of this city from the ultra rich to the exact opposite and each section has its unique charms and differences. From many different types of retail shops, restaurants, and industrial sections to gorgeous mountain views and stunning lakes and many different parks, community centers, pools, recreation centers, and the hundreds of miles of both bicycle friendly roads and off road trails, The city of Arvada has something to love for everybody.

So far a great experience calling in for information. They almost always have someone to answer the phone and any questions that I have. Great website, easy to find info, friendly staff. I live in Arvada and love it. Great city (rated 2nd best in the nation I believe)!

Awesome as always

Terrible city to do business, build a home or office in. They have rules and regulations for every minute detail of any plan. Might as well live and work in California! Disgusting how we've let government rule over our lives for a little this and a little of that. We are moving out of this town and are already shopping elsewhere for all of our needs.

A year later and the trash service is still dysfunctional. Scooter trash everywhere. Construction project ruining the area.
