With the copious amounts of liquor stores in the Denver area it's a breath of fresh air having a spot where you can find a great selection of spirits, wine, and barware. The speakeasy in the back has an intimate setting and the service is always unmatched compared to the pretentious nature often found in your typical speakeasy. Everytime I visit I leave with a smile on my face and have just an incredible experience chatting up the staff. The staff is very knowledgeable and give great recommendations for a daily drinker orange wine or a bottle of whiskey for a special occasion. If you haven't been yet, you're in for a very special treat.

Came here on a date night after a few months apart. The server was so incredibly attentive, knowledgeable and just a bloody great energy to get around. Will be coming back here again.

This experience was held in stark contrast to the poor experience of School House on a Saturday night. Choose your drinking holes wisely!

I absolutely love this place! I have been here a handful of times and every experience some how gets better and better. The staff is extremely knowledgeable (especially around bourbon) and friendly. The drinks at the speak easy are well crafted, personalized, and DELICIOUS. It’s an overall wonderful establishment. My boyfriend and I literally leave with big old smiles EVERY time!! Solid 5 stars all the way! 🌟

This review is about the Stockroom, the speakeasy in the back. It only hold about 30 people. I had a fabulous time here. The bartenders were great, generous with tastings, and made excellent cocktails. It was fun chatting with them about drinks and life. It was busy all Saturday night. So you may have to wait (ring the bell in front of if it's after-hours, don't sneak in from the alley).

This little liquor store packs a wallop. The curation is top notch, with fantastic wine and liquor selections. I also love their robust amaro collection. This has been my go-to store for bottles, expert guidance, and delightfully sassy conversation for many years. A+++, will shop again, and again, and again…

SWP is an exceptional store, offering a wide range of liquors and wines, especially hard to find varieties. The hidden speakeasy adds a unique touch, making the experience memorable. Themed weeks, from Harry Potter to tiki, showcase the store’s versatility. SWP is more than a liquor store; it’s a community hub, fostering togetherness through its diverse offerings and engaging atmosphere. A standout destination in Arvada, highly recommended for those seeking a distinctive and enjoyable time!

Always fun and I love how knowledgeable the bartender Is about all the spirits and the history of the cocktails. Try the cocktail of the month! A great place to be adventurous with your drinks.

The wine store is great, but the speakeasy in the back is where it's at! Small and dimly lit, it's got a great cozy vibe. The bartenders are exceptional and if you don't know where to start, just tell them your spirit of choice and let them get creative. My new favorite place in Arvada.
ETA- my partner and I got engaged and came here for a drink, when we toasted and mentioned it to the staff, Mason found a bottle of champagne, opened it with a sabor, and poured one out for everyone to toast our engagement. I was so blown away, and I'll be keeping the cork for sentiment value. This place is the best of both worlds, an absolute delicious cocktail lounge with zero pretension that feels like your local bar. Cheers with amazing cocktails!

This is such a great shop. It's full of all the wine, spirits, beers, and other goodies you could want. Cute glassware, chocolates, bar tools, and even cards. The wine selection has everything you could need. Unique ones to experiment with and solid classics. They have a full and impressive range of liqueurs. They have the best whisk(e)y selection I've seen in the area. They'll get you anything you need too for a special occasion. Great staff, cozy store, great location for locals and visitors.

Review for both SWP and the Stockroom speakeasy. The liquor store is fantastic. They have an amazing selection of oddball and hard to find stuff. For example I found a special release Cognac and a rum I've been hitting for within 30 seconds. It's an expertly curated selection. The owner and staff are awesome. Ask the staff up front about finding a drink and they'll lead you back to a small, dark, speakeasy with absurdly good cocktails. Excellent drinks and atmosphere. Pro-tip, don't just barge into the backroom like a jackass. It's a small room with limited seating, so they need to check first if there's room. Also, part of the fun is the speakeasy vibe where you ask on the sly. Long story short, killer selection of spirits, friendly staff, and a great place to grab a cocktail or provisions for making them at home.

In the divorce, my ex got all the brown liquor and I got all the clear stuff.
And so…I took myself over to Spirits Wine Provisions and Brian helped me rebuild my collection of scotch, rye and other delights. The place had never led me astray.

The owners and employees in the front and back are so passionate ate and friendly about spirits. I can ask dumb questions without being made to feel silly but can also bring my snobbiest request and it’s met with excitement and suggestions on where to go next.
So glad to have this local bottle shop and speakeasy in my neighborhood. My only issue is having to stop myself from going more frequently!

Mason in the stockroom is absolutely the BEST- knowledgeable, friendly, and never fails to perfectly match the vibe. We’ve been to the stockroom many times and Mason is by far our favorite bartender. Thanks Mason!

Spirit Wine Provisions, and The Stockroom are located 22 miles from my house, and worth every bit of the 40 minutes from my home.

The front side, Spirit Wine Provisions, carry’s a great selection of curated wines, spirits, and beer that you won’t find in big box liquor stores. With a staff that is able to walk you through the history, production, and flavor notes of their products. The whiskey/bourbon selection is great along with being priced appropriately. They even had a Don Julio private cask that has quickly become one of my favorite tequilas. This isn’t a gigantic store in a good way, they learn about the products they sell, they taste the products they sell, they want you to leave informed and with what you’re looking for.

The Stockroom, it doesn’t get better than this. Tucked into the backside of the building a phenomenal Speakeasy, with a phenomenal staff. Jeremy, Mason, Evans, Brian, and Quinn are who I’ve run into behind the bar. Each extremely knowledgeable in their craft, whether you’re looking for wine, a mixed drink, a neat pour of your favorite spirit or wanting to explore something new, you’ll be well taken care of. This is the best service I’ve received at a bar/speakeasy. You’re in the best hands when you’re back there.

Long story short, if it’s close by, go. If it’s far, go. You will be happier supporting a great local business with a great staff, that provides great product.

Casey and his wife are some of the most amazing people I have ever met. I live over an hour away, but swing by when I can and have ordered from their website with ease. If I lived closer, I would be there all the time!

I really love this place! The drink menu is great and their bespoke coattails are always a hit. I love the speakeasy vibe, even though when you get into the back room it can be a bit boisterous if it’s busy. Either way, it’s always a good time. The drinks and the food that we’ve tried has always been superb. It’s super dark in the back and especially when you’re heading to the bathroom, so be prepared. Can’t wait to come back!

Review for both SWP and The Stockroom… if you want a cheap Coors served up quickly, go elsewhere… if you want an expertly crafted cocktail tailored to your preferences for a fair price with great conversation and no pretension, head back to the stockroom.

Absolutely one of the best wine and liquor stores in Colorado. Great selection of wine, whiskey, mezcal, and more. Love how their wine selection is geared towards more boutique and natural selections. Prices are great and I'm always greeted by staff when I enter the store, often sparking up a friendly conversation. Staff is very knowledgeable about what they sell. Highly recommend!

I have been coming here regularly for the last 6 months. Obviously in that time things have changed a bit. However, the quality, selection, and service has not changed. Additionally, they have made such a wonderful and successful effort to support their community and develop entertaining events for their patrons during this time. Their outreach has definitely impressed us.

Casey and Emelye are so friendly and excited to help you out. I have never regretted asking them questions, for recommendations, or just poking my head into the shop to say hi. They will go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your selection. On many occasions I've just asked them what is new or what they are excited about and I've bought the bottle no question asked. I've never had any regrets. This is a great shop to support and they go out of their way to maintain cleanliness and personal safety for their patrons. They offer in store, curbside, and delivery options.

Spirit Wine Provisions has the best selections of wine and liquor in the Denver Metro area. Emelye and Casey are immensely knowledgeable of wine and it has redefined my pallet at a very reasonable price. I brag on them everywhere I go! They are also so welcoming and I always love stopping in (multiple times a week).

The Stock Room (the speak easy in the back of SWP) makes the best cocktails, by far, in the Denver metro area. I cannot recommend them, their cocktails, and their customer service enough. They are worth the drive to Arvada and take care of every customer that comes through the door. You won’t regret stopping in and grabbing their signature drink (the stockroom) or a sazerac.
