I’ve been shopping here for decades… These folks are great and extremely helpful. I always have a nice chat with Tom and others. The ace overhead music used to be all kinds of great 70s Classics like Mott the Hoople. But even though that has ceased, there’s still some good music and the products are great. Thank you all.

Dave was a super helpful and friendly guy! I was looking for a particular screw. Dave got me in and out of the store in under three minutes. I will definitely be back.

Costumer service desk is awesome. They’ve been really helpful with issues I had with an online order. And super helpful finalizing a quote when no one was at the pro desk.

I went to return a metal cutting hack saw beings that I was so very lucky to have gotten the key to my storage back, after thieve's had stolen my car. Yes, they took the keys from my purse while I was asleep and I thought that I would have to cut the lock off of my storage unit. (How naive was I to think that I couldn't possibly be there next victim). Especially since we had, had such an Amazing Christmas.. Finding that key was one good thing out of this whole nightmare. Oh,and Yes, they totaled my car in less than 24 hours!

Jeremy in the key department was awesome. I walked in expecting to pay $3-400 for two new electronic car keys. He opened them up, cleaned them up and replaced parts. I was only charged for the parts. He was just a friendly guy who liked helping people and solving problems. Love a store that puts a customers needs and resources first.

I love Ace Hardware. It's nostalgic & they have cool stuff you wouldn't expect. It's a bit pricier than the box stores, but not much & kinda worth it, if only to avoid the crowds

Ace will take unused paint and stain that you don't need. I took 6 gallons towards closing on Memorial Day. The box was heavy so Alex came to my car and took the box into the store for me, I didn't even have to go back in. He was super friendly and helpful. I appreciated it Alex , thank you.

There is always cheerful, knowledgeable help in every department here. I enjoy the staff very, very much. I was saddened today to learn that my favorite helper at the Paint Desk, and ofttimes cashier, Skye, gave her two weeks notice today. Before she goes, I want to thank her specifically for her warm, welcoming demeanor, and her very sage advice about paint colors, paint theory, and application advice for various paints and stains around my current home upgrade projects. She and her coworker, Tom, alone, make this place a treasure in Green Mountain. All the staff is top-notch, but I'm afraid Skye is irreplaceable. Fare thee Well Skye. Thanks Ace, for hiring great people. Try to hold onto your true gems.

One of the best hardware store experiences I've ever had! This Green Mountain Ace Hardware is not only clean and organized, but the staff is super helpful and knowledgeable. And the store is way bigger than you would expect from the outside.

I felt like everyone there is smiling and eager to help, the shelves are stocked and organized, and the prices are comparable to other stores. Highly recommend this hardware store, and I will definitely go out of my way to return!

Great people more than willing to help you find what you need. However, right now this store is currently remodeling and as such have a low inventory on items. So I would have to tell you the experience is much better and if possible, wait for the project to be finished and restocked
