This school has changed my life in some really great ways. I have had some amazing professors and I have gotten into some wonderful programs. Through my involvement on campus I have gotten access to some great connections throughout the community. It's a great place to go for a school, a great place to work, and a great place to spend some amazing college years! I highly recommend this school! I have gained so many resources and experiences through this school and I highly recommend it for anyone!

UCCS is a great school and best bang for your buck. Campus is nice and will continue to improve as construction finishes up. While the Freshmen and Sophomore classes are sometimes pretty large (usually the Science classes for me, others were pretty small), your Junior and Senior level classes are extremely small which allows you to connect with not only the instructors but students as well, which is often a problem in large classes. Graduating in May and do not regret my decision to come here.

A few tips of advise:
- Parking does SUCK, it may improve next year with the new parking garage. Either live on campus, come early, or park in the parking lot away from the campus and get a shuttle, no other way around it until they figure out a long term solution.

- Pay attention to your student portal when it comes to Financial Aid. Sometimes things may come up out of the blue without your knowledge. Also, it is best to talk to an ACTUAL staff member at Financial Aid. No offense to the student employees, they sometimes do not know what they are talking about and just assume things which can sometimes cause problems, do yourself a favor and talk to an actual staff member to get the best information or solution regarding a problem.

- Finally, if you do stay on campus, Summit Village, the Freshmen dorms, seems to be very active given the impression I have seen from it. On the other hand, Alpine Village is not very active in the social aspect. Hope you have good roommates and you should be set for the year, otherwise get involved with something because Alpine Village is like an actual apartment community, little to no interaction with one another.

UCCS is full of professors who actually care about their students. I have gained so much experience just in the two years I have been here. Sure every school has certain things that others don't like but it in no way makes this a terrible school. I am even an out of state student making tuition rates very high but you know that's not UCCS exclusive. Every time I have needed to contact someone in finical aid or housing they have always been polite and got back to me in a timely manner. Highly recommend this school!

Great University. One of the best business program in Colorado. I Commute daily from Denver. Started college at CU boulder, UCD and DU. However, UCCS has my commitment! Great supporting staffs, professional with great qualification and many years of experience. The professors are passionate about teaching students ( NOT ADJUNCTS like other schools ) . I love my field of Finance and can not wait to finish. On top of everything. Great view, smaller size school which is better for teacher-student ratio, and great quality education with serious minded students from the military town. Thanks.

I've attended this university, CU-Boulder and Boston U. UCCS has, by far, the most supportive staff, responsive faculty and least pretensions. The campus looks and feels new. Engineering and sciences are strong, students are responsible and mellow - many work part or full-time off campus. Low (in-state) tuition.

The UCCS is underrated. This university is academy oriented. Its engineering section is notable and Electrical Engineering dept. is by far the most active in research fields. Scenic beauty is stunning. Staffs are cooperative too. One con is- if high altitude doesn't go with you, you should think again before coming here.

Very proud to have earned a BA, MPA and also commissioned through ROTC (Separated Service Honorably). It is not a degree factory as some of the "Everest" colleges.
UCCS is the real thing, I have NEVER regretted completing my education there. I don't recognize the campus after the growth. The Chancellor was a professor of mine. Sorry Dr. Pam, but very elated to see the curriculum and culture remain stable. The Campus Security Officer who was slain is one of hundreds of dedicated Staff and support.
UCCS is a gem that is really staring to shine!

UCCS is an incredible and growing school that should be taken much more seriously than it is. With growing programs in all spheres of knowledge, this place is a great place to learn and start a career. Life changing teachers and wonderful knowledge.

UCCS has steadily grown in popularity. Colorado seems to be making quiteva large investment in this institution. New medical school and a new building for the business school among many other new facilities. A nice atmosphere on campus, too.

Could not ask for a better location! The campus is large enough that you can always meet someone new and small enough that by the end of your studies you feel like your part of a community. Not really a "party" school, but great base of operations for all the outdoor enthusiasts!

Fantastic place where the professors actually care about their students. The class sizes are small and you will learn a lot. The students are all very friendly and it is easy to find somewhere to fit in.

The UCCS provides a good experience for exchange students. The college of engineering and applied science and the college of business are notable. I could experience a great academic year last year.

I am proud to have been part of the UCCS community for almost 20 years. The staff and faculty have a genuine desire to see students succeed. UCCS has been (and will continue to be) a driving force in the economic prosperity of this city. #PROUDMOUNTAINLION

This is a fantastic school with a fantastic physics lab. Curriculum (for undergrad physics) is what you would get anywhere; Arfken, Griffiths, etc. Some top notch teachers and the campus is gorgeous.

As my dream grow stronger and so I believe that one day I will be a student or a worker at UCCS, not minding the background I come from.
