Arvada Library - Jefferson County Public Library

The staff is always helpful. I'm not sure what is up with all of the entitled folk who seem to be terrified of those less fortunate/homeless. Please remember they are human too. ✌

Favorite library for decades. Great selection, kind professionals, services adapting with time and technology to better serve the community. Plus the building architecture and view from second story reading room are beautiful extras.

The staff are so helpful and positive. The restrooms and very clean. The atmosphere on the whole is very calming and uplifting. Cannot praise enough the pleasantness of the experience with the staff. Definitely deserve a raise.

Excellent selection of children’s books. I came in with my friend to do some studying for a children’s book we want to write. We picked a bunch of books close to closing time and didn’t check them out. It’s a nice space to get some work done. Well kept library. Thank you for your service. :)

It's a great library but I don't understand why they've closed it for so long. Multiple public health experts said the actual risk of drug exposure is nonexistent unless you're in the bathroom while someone is smoking.

Hopefully it will re-open soon and the janitors / security / librarians will get some proper PPE so they can enforce no-smoking rules safely.

The library cannot fix the homeless problem, talk to Arvada and Denver government about getting real public housing and shelters that allow families and pets to stay together, and let people secure their stuff. The library should not be the best daytime shelter option.

About the parking, there is tons of free parking within a block or two, at the parking garage at Arvada station, and to the east of the library (easiest to approach from Ralston).

very beautiful, clean environment! checking in/out the books is a really easy process, and they have pamphlets up with programs and resources for all ages. the librarians were all really nice and when I was struggling with a technology issue one noticed and came over to help. I saw two other librarians go above and beyond in finding information for other patrons as well. great job Arvada library! ❤

Great baby story hour and playtime. Lots of singing, jumping, playing with the parachute and listening to books! Watching the book return is also fun as it lowers them down a ramp behind glass! Kids also love checking books out by placing them under the infrared light before bagging them up to take home to read!

This library is so nice! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Great selection of books, movies, etc. They have some of the best children's and TEENS programs I've ever seen for a library (which my 12 & 14 year old were happy for). They even have a huge selection of Spanish/Español books.

Fantastic place for kids young and old. Our toddler loves the train table and tumbling/play room. Library staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Just a great place to spend a day.

The library's staff as always were very freindly, and helpful. Especially when one is as clueless as I am when it comes to using a printer, and their new system of using your library card to send the docs over to a print station. I didnt even have to ask for help. Yet isuspect the staff member who saw the sheer look of caveman like confusion on my face, (and rather impressively through my mask) when faced with the giant printer infront of me, and and the task of getting my file sent to it. He came over immediately with out me having ask for help or more likely, saving me from looking even more caveman like and foolishly mashing random buttons in an attempt to get my documents printed. He then walked me through the process of scsnning my library card and selecting the proper button on the kiosk and got the job done. While remaining respectfull of the social distance guidelines of course. Also i learned just by walking in the library, through osmosis I suspect i learned to write like this, or by checking out and reading the books in it. Support your local library and find our for your self.

I LOVE THE ARVADA LIBRARY!!! The staff is AMAZING!!! Most of them know me and my son very well. All of them are very kind, compassionate, friendly, helpful, passionate in helping us find what we need!!! OUR FAVORITE LIBRARY ❤

The Arvada Library is another Gem of the jeffco public Library facilities, in my 15 yrs now, in Arvada. The Library staff is helpful, and pleasant and the facilities were a great resources for me,my teens, and young adults, the kids section is is nice,though kids sections seem larger at standley lake and other JPL's

I needed some time to work with Internet and this place worked for me! Free wifi without registration. You can also book a room one hour a day. Great small place!

Love this Library, they have several sections where you can go chill in a chair and read a magazine or book. Also they have one where it's like adult and older teen only so there is no talking allowed... thru have adult section and child section have fun...

Quiet, well kept, and love booking their study rooms. Be aware that study rooms are only open for 2 hour slots.

Great library. Friendly staff. I only wish the children's section had some sort of bean bags or comfy spots to cuddle up with a good book.

The staff is amazing! They really helped me get what I needed for my English class, and they did it really fast. Better than any book store I have ever been to!

Very friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoy the decor and multilevels. I am glad that they are open to visiting, although limited.

Great helpful staff. Very nice facilities (including computers provided for guest). Clean, with plenty of workstations as well as confortable seating.
